My favorite movie of all time.

I've watched the movie about 2 months ago - and I've loved it! I watch it everytime I can - the movie is broadcasted on TBS here in Brazil - and I think it's a very nice movie. It's like the introdution of the song ''Silence'' from Portishead, in free translation: "Be aware for the '3 rule': What you give you'll get on return. You have to learn this lesson. You'll get what you deserve." it's the essence of this movie: everything you do you will get on return.

I think it was either my aunt or her daughter that told me about this movie. I took their advice and went out and bought it on VHS (LoL I feel old). It was the most beautiful movie I had seen to date (I was only about 13 and hadn't seen many movies cept chick flicks, which a lot of 'em are good like Sweet Alabama).

i remember going to see this movie in the theater when it came out. i was about 14 or so. i had read the book prior and LOVED the book. really, the only difference was that instead of novalee fearing 5's, she feared 7's in the book. i loved both the movie and the book and i still do to this day. if you liked this one check out "anywhere but here". such a good film. and also a great book.

i loved this movie, it was so sweet, and dramatic, the acting was amazing and so life like. this actully happens in real life and i like how the dirctor/writer thought about that.

Wish put this on blueray DVD and dvd and soundtrack all one box collection. I love this film movie, I remember day came out see again and again. Still enjoy more today A plus 100%. All greatest actors. 100%. And directors did fantastic job. 100%. Very special film movie.

Such a tragic beginning for the mother of the Walmart baby when she went inside to buy flip flops...and tragic for her best friend Naomi Judd and her kids Brownie, Baby Ruth and etc... and poor Stockard Channing/Sister Husband dying in that tornado going to check on the alcoholics... At least she found real love in the librarian even though she thought she wasn’t good enough for him and let him leave for Maine to have a better life. But Americus lived.
