Bounce (2000) Official Trailer - Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Affleck Movie HD
Buddy Amaral (Ben Affleck), a cocky, self-absorbed ad executive who--in desiring a tryst with the gorgeous Mimi (Natasha Henstridge), a woman he meets at the airport--gives up his plane ticket back to Los Angeles to writer Greg Janello (Tony Goldwyn). The plane crashes, and Buddy begins a downward spiral of alcoholism and self-loathing until he undergoes rehab. Once out, he decides to pay a visit to the dead man's widow. Abby Janello (Gwyneth Paltrow) is a struggling real estate agent with two young sons.

I don't get that from this video, but I totally know that feeling! I get it from music, tv shows + movies and sometimes even from smells! This feeling of melancholy nostalgic cam be so strong, wishing you was in the time and space again.
why do i keep getting recommended random movies ive never heard of before from the 90s/early 2000s

So long ago was this question but I just have to answer.....yes a film called “phone call from a stranger” about a man who survives a crash, later he calls, then visits the families of 3 passengers he became close with during their layover......it’s a very good film...Bette Davis.
I watched this movie for the first time a couple months ago. It's OK, but not that great... a much better romantic drama that I recommend is "The Lucky One", with Zac Efron. It has the same basic plot (Zac, a Marine, falls in love with a woman, whose brother was another Marine killed in action), and I think the script, the romance and the chemistry between the 2 main characters were better in that movie.

It's kind of explained in the movie. You can't crash your life and just stay there. You have to bounce to keep going.
