Reddit kinda already died, a whole bunch of ppl left, over controversy. It sucks. But I found my ppl over on the alternatives. However some burnt down the road behind them, deleting all their messages & posts. So reddit is now a large % ghost town. And what sucks is, on the alternative websites there just simply isn't enough ppl to start a maple syrup focused community, not ever videogame communities. we're in grim times in deed.

@@xhbirohx2214 For as much as I would've liked people to have actually left reddit, not many people did permenently. I myself ditched for a solid week or two when third party apps were banned. I came back after trying Alternatives and finding them as unfortunately lacking as you mentioned. Nowadays unless your hyper niche topic happened to have been written by one of the deleters before reddit stopped letting people delete, all the data is there. The people still haven't left either. If you hate reddit and refuse to return I get it. Long term though reddit hasn't actually changed much, besides more ads of course.

it's a nice video but no, tearing up from something like this is not normal lol
@heatshield
Жыл бұрын
@@ts4gv that all depends, bro. Someone could be depressed, looking for some sort of solidarity in the world and empathize or identify with the character, and finally find peace in their day. Someone else could simply be shocked by the intelligent writing and feel comfort in the fact that other people still care about producing good funny thoughtful content, and have a moment of hope for the world of art, or maybe even just be happy that someone who they enjoy watching is still working really hard to make them happy and connect with them through their art. You never know. Can’t really say it isn’t normal. It isn’t _everyone_ who will react by feeling something, but it’s “normal” in the sense that it isn’t *not* normal. A surprisingly large amount of people react emotionally to the simplest of seemingly pointless short poetry or a painting with only one color, maybe even a smile from a stranger on the bus. It’s completely “normal” to feel a brief welling up in appreciation for someone’s work which they obviously care about. P.S. This is coming from someone who is science minded before all else. I don’t make decisions hard on emotion if I can help it, I definitely don’t vote with my emotions or have a short fuse or anything like that. I just think it’s important not to dismiss someone who legitimately reached out to another human with care.
