@@BasedAndBasic You're very expressive. You do a good job conveying those weird hard-to-describe-but-easy-to-recognize feelings that we all have. You've also got the back-and-forth banter down pretty well. There's no way I would be organized enough to have 2 or more characters "interacting" with each other so major props there. Also, you're doing it man! You're creating content and putting it out there in the world. That is awesome. As far as critiques, it feels really, really, REALLY close to Andrew Rousso's stuff. Like, copying the homework but just changing the font style close. The thumbnails, the edits, the obscure subject matter with a nonsensical twist. It all just sort of feels like a rip-off of his style. It's great to have inspirations, but it's important to set yourself apart from them. If I had any advice, I guess that would be it. If this style of video is really what you feel like doing, then find a way to make it your own. Trying to emulate what someone else is doing, especially someone who has been doing it for years now, is not going to go over well once there's enough visibility for the comparisons to start getting made (by more folks than just myself, that is). People respond best to originality, and even if what you're doing is completely authentic to you, you're at a disadvantage because someone else has already done it. Also, the whole thing could have been tightened up some. I watched this one and the other, similar videos and there was a bit too much of characters repeating each other or coming back to jokes that had been done already. Just kind of kills the momentum. Anyways, that's all I got. For context, I am not a creator so this may all be meaningless, especially in the landscape of today's internet. That being said, I watch a looooot of KZread, and a variety of content, so it's coming from a somewhat informed and well-intentioned place. And hell, you might just be doing this for fun and not really all that worried about it. In which case, feel free to disregard everything I said and just keep doing your thing man. Either way, best of luck to you cause you seem like a funny dude.

​@@gigantisaurusrex6647 Hey thanks for the feedback man! You're totally on point re Andrew Rousso. He's a huge influence, if not the main one for these sketches. The thumbnails are a total ripoff, I'm only now thinking it may be wise to change them... As per the style of the video itself... Well it's sort of hard to navigate what qualifies as a rip off. Andrew does the talking head videos the best, and I noted that its effective comedically to have multiple twist in the video from him.. but I'm not sure if I'm ripping him off so much as using the same tried and tested ways to get laughs. Additionally, my scripts ARE totally original so I'm hoping that helps. All that said, yeah, I could totally see the argument I'm borrowing too much (really, the thumbnails are looking gross now. doesn't help they are so easy to make). I think when it comes down to being original, it sort of emerges with time? I've accepted that I'm at that awkward stage where I can't help but be derivative in style - at least with shorts. My longer form content (minus the anime stuff) is... well, I'd say it's pretty original and the focus of the channel ultmately. But they take a tremendous amount of work. I started these shorts to keep the content mill going while also honing my script writing skills as I plan and beef up the special effects of my long form projects (trying to implement UE5 and a lot of Davinci Fusion effects to set me apart from the crowd) Anyway, thanks for giving me feedback man, I really do apperciate it. I didn't think too much about how forgiving (or not) the internet would be with me being so derivative of Rousso... I'll have to really meditate on it.
