Lol this is doubly funny to me. I was in China for a couple months start of these year, they have a lot of unattended convenience store over there, which use facial recognition and spatial scanning so you just walk in, take the stuff and leave and the payment is done automatic. I was also in Japan where stores are also unattended, you walk in and just leave the money in a drawer/bowl. Both systems are pretty interesting to me, and then here in America you have this. The contrast is just so hysterical

In those countries, they still teach good morals to their kids and their police are allowed to do their jobs.
@GumpierGoat2
7 ай бұрын
@MyShiroyuki places like that exist in the US as well, albeit, pretty rarely. I bought cherries from a stand in California a few years back that was unattended. Notice how the primary stores who need the lock boxes are corporations? That's because places like Walmart move in, kill local businesses, and then price gouge the community they showed up in, and nobody feels bad stealing from places like Walmart, because the people who are affected by the theft wouldn't actually notice if I stole my entire yearly wage from their pocket. I don't condone stealing, but locally owned businesses aren't the ones getting stolen from 99% of the time.
@Tential1
7 ай бұрын
@@GumpierGoat2you're wrong lol. They are stealing from everywhere not just Walmart. Not sure how this misinformation gets out there. Or why you think criminals care which stores they steal from. There are so many local news stories though of people going out of business. As an investor, I'm not thinking "oh no, big stores like Walmart will get hit, and small stores will be safe because thieves only hate us." no... I'm doubling down on investments because I get actual data, and don't have to rely on news, and I know small stores are getting destroyed because of this. Even if you aren't touched, your insurance rates go up, do to crime in the area. You lose to Walmart/Amazon no matter what. You've got two choices. Clamp down on crime, and let small businesses survive or, be passionate to thieves, and help boost the stock price of Amazon, Walmart, and a few of my other more secret picks, that I'll thank the current crop of liberals for making the rich richer.
@Tential1
7 ай бұрын
@@GumpierGoat2that would be one days profits from your local store.... You don't know what you're talking about lol. Walmart is profitable because they sell a ton of items at a TON of different stores. They make 1% profit.... Every time you spend $100 at a Walmart, they make $1. And if you return something, they lost money.
@Tential1
7 ай бұрын
@@GumpierGoat2the primary stores have lockboxes because they can afford it.... A small store can't afford that friction. You're just literally advocating for a situation where the primary store has the advantage. Not that I should complain, the little guy usually somehow advocates for my big box investment. Just more of a mind f how people always get it wrong, and advocate for things that hurt them, but whatever.

As a former lube-cage, I can confirm this happens at CVS more than what people are comfortable to admit
That Sonic key chain was a wonderful addition to a baffling interaction, what a great skit.
As an ex-Target employee, this is accurate.
Andrew doesn't make skits. He makes ART. Another amazing video.
I mean this in the best way possible: the customer service guy gives off the same energy as a Transformers movie character, and I love it.

“If you stealing silicone from Uncle Sam” if a fuckin brilliant line, among a skit full of killer lines. “Have you Seen the MINESSS” too 😂
There's not any 3 minute videos that I will entirely re watch multiple times back to back. This stuff is so hilarious.

@Tential1

For Timmy and his crusade of contempt! I still wish to see where his story goes and I cannot wait to see more content from one of my favorite creators.
