I was great at Battlefield 4 when it came out and then I tried it years later on the last expansion and I got so rusty that some one asked if I wasn't feeling embarrased of my game and I left right there and didn't play back.

This is literally exactly how it feels when you're in your thirties and you squad up with some random teenager who plays the game for 8 hours a day lmao.

@@Curtis.Carpenter I got a job and built my own PC when I was a freshman in Highschool. Just because your parents didn't do it for you didn't mean you "Had to" wait. I guess you likely were just following orders at that point so it feels like it wasn't an option for you. I had an i5 and Nvidia 550ti and when CS:GO came out me and all my gaming friends were on there every day. That was over 10 years ago now, and things have certainly gotten way better.

Hell I wasn't allowed in the house between 3pm and 6pm unless the weather was bad. Your 550ti wasn't invented yet. 2GB ram was a NASA super computer. CS:GO? Go where? I had friends who played Counter Strike until someone needed to make a phone call because you couldn't do both. Be grateful your parents allowed you to build your PC, because if they hadn't, you would have "had to wait". Your parents seem very nice and it's good that they let you get a job and keep your own money, but not everyone has that luxury, and most children in my day, did not.

this is so realistic to when you're in endgame with your squad and all the sudden its no more jokes and everything becomes the most tactical, and precise gameplay ever.

That lean in right before he says, "Okay boys, let's run it back," captures so much emotion. That was the moment he surrendered to the cold hard fact that he had reached a point in his life where he was running threes with a baby and a smoke alarm. He probably didn't even know that was possible prior to that moment. He knows that he'll never be the same again. That he'll be living in a new world after that moment. That everyone he knows, everyone he loves, will probably never truly know the real him after that moment. But he did it, he took that leap. He did it to game. What can be more virtuous than that?

Yo, I know how. I remember when I went to my friend's house and was playing halo. My friend's 5 year old little brother took over for him and this is EXACTLY what happened. I 1v1 and lost, badly....to a five year old. I felt humiliated, but I had to pretend like I was letting the kid win. I wasn't. He was a dominator and it hurt my adult soul to be out tactic'd by a little kid. I'll never forget that lesson.
