I was just thinking, maybe the police publicly said they didn't believe there was a stalker to prevent Brian from getting spooked and give him a false sense of security.

It's common for law enforcement to not put out false information or not correct inaccurate speculation in cases. There were many things that law enforcement put out, that was absolutely not true, and there were things the public was speculating about , they knew to be incorrect, and they did not clarify. So you are correct. They may have other reasons as well.

I think people “realize but don’t realize” just how easily someone can find a person just by looking them up online and finding so much more about them. Depending how much they post, it’s a stalkers dream.

Hearing that there may have been complaints of a stalker before the murder from one of the girls just sends shivers down my spine. I had some horrible stalkerish incidents many years ago and the police did not take it seriously whatsoever. A boy on the bus to school a few years younger than me (I was about 18 at the time) used to always creep me out and stare at me every day to the point it made me uncomfortable. Once he exposed himself to me just before I got off the bus. I complained to my college and the police and nothing was done. They didn’t even come out to the house. Then a few weeks later, pitch black outside, I opened my bedroom curtains because I thought I heard a noise outside and there was this hunched over figure crouched just under my window. After I screamed, he got up and ran off into a field next door. We called the police and this time they did turn up. We discovered a motorbike parked in a little dirt road near our house and the police said they would turn lights off and wait a bit further down to see who would turn up for it. Sure enough, this creepy guy came to pick up his bike about an hour later and was arrested. He was never charged with anything because he was only 14 at the time and the next day when I went outside I saw evidence of his obvious enjoyment of spying on me right outside my window 🤢 Police weren’t interested whatsoever and no follow up was done. He didn’t even get a warning. Found out he went on to rape 2 girls a few years later.

I’m a lawyer and it’s so straightforward to me what Brian’s defense should be (and what it probably is) to explain all the evidence thus far and get away with all this. All he has to say is that he used to buy drugs from the party house these students stayed at. He’s a heroin addict, so that’s feasible. That will also explain any DNA evidence belonging to the victims and possibly the dog found in his car and/or house. It will explain why his phone pinged close to the victims’ house. It will explain why the survivors took so long to call the 911 - they were getting rid of all the drugs etc. Finally it will create reasonable doubt as to who else could have killed the victims - a drug deal gone bad type situation. I can think of so many ways around all the evidence and if Brian is as smart as it has been suggested, he’ll get around it too. Waiting till June for the probable cause hearing was his first smart move. He’s got a lot of time to put together his “story” as the States evidence drips in between now and then.

Great video I miss your in-depth insight. I am curious if there is a connection with his substance abuse and him being an alleged stalker/serial killer. Could his destructive behavior be a replacement for the substance abuse he stopped but maybe didn’t psychologically recover from? Do you think the distance from his PA family home increased his urges to become obsessed? Do you think his family or siblings knew or had a hunch he had a stalker or even a murderous side? Is it possible to keep this completely hidden from a family that was reportedly as close as his family is? Thank you for your thoughts and time. I love your channels.

The cops could have said they couldn't find evidence of stalking to throw off Brian. There's another college near Pullman. Cheney is the Home of Eastern Washington University. Some people have made a suggestion that Brian had a burner phone and a pre-paid debit card. Maybe he made the Door Dash delivery. Someone said the food was just on the counter not eating??? No offenses but why does the parents filing bankruptcy have anything to do with Brians crimes?.

I'm sorry but there is a lot of things that don't make sense in this case. # 1: Police say that Mogen and Goncalves were given a ride by a Uber driver then that was changed to "they were driven home by a private party" (I can understand that investigators are double checking facts and evidence, but this is not the only time that facts and events will change ). # 2: Goncalves had placed 7 uncompleted calls to her ex boyfriend from 2:26am / 2:52am with mogen also calling goncalves ex boyfriend 3 times from 2:44 am / 2:52am as well, but police have deemed that none of these actions / events are suspicious and the ex is not considered a suspect. # 3: ( this ties in with # 2 )The investigators revealed that goncalves received significantly more stab wounds compared to mogen, kernodle and chapin and this was determined that she was the main target for the murders. # 4: One of the surviving roommates originally said that she and the other roommate didn't wake up or hear anything during the murders, then this account was changed to yes, one of the roommates did wake up around 4am to hear what sounded like goncalves with her dog. She then hears Kernodle (which she first believed to be goncalves) saying "there's someone here" she then opens her door twice in quick secession with the second time hearing crying coming from kernodles bedroom then hears a male saying "it's okay, I'm going to help you". After this, she opens her door for a 3rd third and final time to see a figure dressed all in black and wearing a black mask, with bushy eyebrows* ( considering that this was around 4am, so there would have been very little / no ambient light, ( I believe she could describe the clothing the murderer was wearing but for her to accurately describe that he had bushy eyebrows, he would of have had to be very close to her, close enough for him to notice her ) but instead of attacking her, he decides to walk past and leave through the back sliding door. After all these events taking place, she decided to wait until afternoon to check on her friends / roommates and then she finally calls 911 at 11:58 am ( OVER 8 HOURS after everything she heard and witnessed ) with the reason for paramedics to come to provide aid / help for a "unconscious" roommate. Considering that the four victims were stabbed to death with blood splattered on the walls in their rooms, how can someone believe that their friends were just unconscious? Also taking into account that by 11:58 am, the weather on that sunday morning / afternoon was a bright and sunny day in moscow, ID. Im not saying kohberger is completely innocent, what I am saying is that these events are not adding up.

I believe it was Maddie that was actually being stalked, not Kaylee. It makes sense , that Maddie and Kaylee being best friends, they would spend a lot of time together and go most everywhere together. Judging by what so many people have said about kaylees personality, as well as her paranoia, Kaylee was used to being the center of attention. She liked materialistic items, most likely thought of herself as prettier than Maddie, which could be true to a lot of people, and so was used to guys paying her the most attention. It seems she may have made everything all about her. So in my opinion it makes sense that she would have thought it was her that was being stalked instead of it really being Maddie who was actually being stalked. Kaylee seemed to also be much more aware of her surroundings, and Maddie possibly didn't pay that much attention. If it turns out to be true that Kaylee was attacked more brutally than Maddie, I think it's only because she fought back, and in turn, it took more violence to subdue her. I also think that Maddie was asleep and may have never woke up or woken up after being stabbed, and by then it was too late.

I'm not sure. I think he was either targeting just one person in the house or was targeting everyone who lived there, but he didn't expect Ethan to be there and that threw off his plans one way or the other. I think the single target theory is more plausible, based on what we know and that the others were unplanned happenings.

Wait, a door dash delivery at 4 am on the second floor, the killer supposedly entered the second floor at 410 am?! Wtf Something is not at all right if that timeline is correct. Killing 4 people by knife is not exactly going to be a quiet thing. I didnt understand how the dog didn't bark and no one woke up in the first place. Now hearing someone on the second floor had food delivered and therefore was clearly awake at 4am?!?! No fricking way, there is way more going on here. I don't have to have a criminal justice degree and many years as a deputy Sheriff to think this sounds, um I'll just say not normal... The time of the murders had to be later if food was delivered at 4. She didn't get the food, eat then fall into such a deep sleep 10 minutes later that she didn't here anyone come in and repeatedly stab 2 people in one room and 2 more on a different floor in the house. The second person on each floor just had to wake and scream as the person next to them was being violently stabbed repeatedly. Typically a person does not die instantly from being stabbed, they would have made some commotion or noises before passing away, which would have definitely woke the person in the same room. Only way is if they were stabbed at the same time. But that would mean there would be 2 people, stabbing. Who gets door dash at fricking 4 am, 10 min before 4 people in the same house are stabbed to death? Then not call police till like noon, oh and say they wont wake up, rather than they are dead and there is fricking blood EVERYWHERE?!. So fricking, strange...

If he knew Kaylee was recently single, he may have made a play on her to have been rejected, this may have been the cause. As he had killed the couple on the second floor I doubt he was worried about the number of people or whether a man would be there to fend him off

LE think the girls on the 3rd fl. were killed first, then the couple on 2nd, one a young man, and no wimp. The other girl on the 2nd fl. is the one who saw, heard him. And lucky! as is the girl on the 1st fl. Its becoming worrisome to think the house had a reputation beyond the loud parties. If he had a motive other than just wanting to kill all those pretty girls all in one sorority house,a house w/not a great reputation, it would be to one up and easy to beat T. Bundy's rabid attack on those other girls in a dorm in FL. which he knew about. If B.K. had done it before, it would be to relive the sensations, but needing a greater intensity; and bolster his perception of himself as a fantastic, genius of a serial killer; better than being an average detective/LE officer, or forensics professor, etc. I don't think sex had anything to do with it at his stage of pathology. At 28 and possibly, if not likely, a killer already, it might be about "I can do this to you and get away with it!"... And a lifelong rejection of me and my wonderfulness is now the ultimate payback and my justifiable revenge. This vulnerable narcissist? is really a megalomaniac w/an ax to grind against everyone; in some ways much like many leaders who get others to go to war for them. This coward chose sleeping over daylight, girls over men and a knife to make it so painful, frightening and personal. Not wanting a date, personal interaction or any kind of relationship, just hatred and vengeance. If he did it, done and done, asap.

Ironically, I have no doubt that this crime, investigation and the eventual trial will be the subject matter of criminal justice, forensics and psychology courses and training, everywhere, in the future. Who knows, that very thinking could be one of the motivations of BK.

I wonder what kind of relationship he had with his Mother? It seems that men that had bad relationships with their Mothers have problems relating to other women, since hating your own Mother shows a very disturb individual, there are a lot of issues involved, very sad for the victims and their families, hope justice takes place,!!!

He was after Kaylee, thinking she was alone now that she broke up with BF....but I think he was planning to do more to her before killing her, if she had been alone. She wasn't alone, so he became enraged and killed them both.

I am speculating. I believe BK was never correctly diagnosed by Dr.s. I believe he was misdiagnosed due to his high functioning ability. I think he gave up on Dr.s and turned to "health restoration" thinking his problem was due to "toxins" and that a strict vegan diet could "cure" him. He probably managed ok throughout his life UNTIL he moved away from his support system (family). When he moved across the country and lived alone with no supervision he started to spiral due to stress, isolation and no accountability. I think he found Kaylee from The Mad Greek and then found her social media which was probably tmi. I think he did stalk her, observing her, studying her. I wonder if he knew this was her last weekend in town before she would move to Texas? I wonder if when his professor put him "on trial" in front of the 150 person class (for complaints of his harsh grading) that the public criticism of 75 people pushed him to the edge? If he was so humiliated that he let the darkness take over? If he felt so inadequate as a person and now his one strength (his intelligence) had come under scrutiny and was deemed a failure as a TA? Maybe all the stress broke him mentally and then he went on a rampage and killed the ones who look so happy and carefree from their social media. I don't think this has anything to do with him being an "incel", this was him giving into the schizophrenic urges of darkness. This was about making someone pay for how miserable he was, making someone else into nothing, because he felt like nothing. The fact that he tried to clean his car, throw trash in neighbors trash bin, and wear gloves to cover his tracks means he knew what he did was wrong, so even mentally he is still here, and he needs to be held accountable. I doubt his parents knew how bad things were. I imagine they tried to help him in his youth but hit dead ends with the Dr.s and their son probably never told them everything he was dealing with. I bet they thought he was maturing and getting better when he was getting his PHD and moving across country to live independently. They probably had no idea he was spiraling out of control and needed help. HE DID NOT SEEK HELP. HE CHOSE TO DO THIS. I feel sorry for his family as they are also victims in a way in all of this. I feel terrible for the loved ones of the 4 victims, this never should have happened. Maybe the lesson is to make sure your home is locked tight and you have good security measures. That women should remember the world we live in and curtail social media to friends only. We study these cases to seek ways to prevent it. In BK's case he probably needed intense treatment as a youth but because he was so high functioning no one, not even Dr.s saw the need. Ultimately it was BK who should have sought help before he let the dark urges take him over. He had to have known he was losing the battle. The only way this could have been prevented would have been for BK to tell everything to a mental health professional so he could have gotten in patient treatment he needed.

I don't always follow crime stories...even if they're current. Maybe it's because it's Pa. But I have. Hearing how he was overweight and bullied really resonated with me....I have bad legs and was mildly overweight. I had a sports star dad that had no interest in my interest...scouting, bycycle and science . His? Baseball, sports and did I mention baseball?! He made No attempt at relating to his shy, cubby nerd of a son. Thankfully I took a different route than this guy but it seems it could have easily gone his way!! As I started coming out of my she'll like him I became something of a bully...for a few years, The power is a scary addictive power rush!! But seeing me become what I hated most pulled me back there!! And the girls....somehow I got a little luckier than this sad f,,k! I set my sights on girls who where wallflowers like me and all those games of tickle n slap must have helped in my socialisation! I guess what we all need to remember how easy it is to go astray.,Like Jeffrey Dahmer said...,I don't think I was ever 'crazy'...just took a step of the path one day...curiosity?...whatever. ,,but no big deal. But that one step leads to more until your way the hell there!!! Stay thirsty ma friend!!

Questions I'd like to see answered... Why was there only one single skin cell found on the buckle of the sheath? Why was there only one single laten/ invisible footprint found? More importantly, why were there no footprints found on the back patio? Why was 911 not called for 8 hrs? What did Maddie tell Andrew that angered Kaylee? What did Jack mean when he told them, "They're going to get you for this!" Who's the driver of the mysterious White pickup truck that was following them?
