Bernie is one of the few candidates for president that called for him to be able to come back to the states and not face prison time, while Hillary was calling for him to go to prison. In the 90’s I noticed my flip phone was always hot. For months my invoice was almost 50 pages thick with mostly $0 charges at each line. Their customer service reps couldn’t explain it. I might have been being tracked so I threw out my phone, went to another provider and bought a new phone. I’m not completely sure what that was about

Facebook tried to ask for my birth certificate to prove my made up name. I quit it all together afterwards. People still make fun of me for not using my real information on platforms. I tell them "I could be guilty until proven innocent for no reason. I'm not letting anyone easily track me down, even though I'm boring."

Joe Rogan had the wisdom to just let Mr. Snowden talk for as long as he wanted, and to interject or intervene as little as possible.

Companies like Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, etc do collect personal data about each of us, but in my view, it is done more as a "collective" type of thing -- done more so to "sell" us things-- to direct advertisements/direct market to us, if you will. Then, there's what comes after the ads trying to convince us we need some new toaster or gadget, and that's the messages, often subtle, that try to change or direct out way of thinking. Political "non-ads" that are designed to look and read like actual news, and a great example of that is Russia's effort to sway public opinion in US elections, most notably the 2016 presidential election. It's just a faster, more direct, more pinpointed and more technologically advanced version of stapling flyers to lampposts.

When Snowden first exposed what was going on, Spain came out with a phone that was called, The Blackphone. It was a private phone, for any apps you wanted to download, it would let you know all of your personal info it would gather. It was shocking.

The fact is it can’t be erased even if deleted- anyone with the right knowledge can retrieve that information

A lot of people (including my family members) will hear this and say, I have nothing to hide because I'm not doing anything wrong, so I don't care. Well... I'll quote Mr. Snowden: "Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say."

Warning: The corona virus is now being used to launch a police state and implement personal surveillance techniques. Also, the bag will prevent your phone from sending or receiving any calls, texts, or anything involving Internet service. So just use the bag when you don't want to be traced, then remove it and turn it back on when you want to go back to normal phone service.
