Kudos to Mr.Snowden, i use to think that Edward was just a young man who decided to "speak out" and then found himself in a situation that snowballed out of control and that deep down he was thinking "oh crap, what have i done", however i now see a Man that is willing to sacrafice everything for is morals. His parents must feel the pain of his situation but also they must be so proud of the way thier son turned out, to them i say that Edward is not just a son to you both he's also an inspiration to us all

Hmm. He has balls. I have seen bigger. In Australia there is a journalist being sent to court for whistleblowing against literal murder committed by soldiers. And what I think he has bigger balls is because he is saying "I ain't running. I stand by my truth". THAT is balls. To expose the evil and stand strong in it's face. Again, love Snowden. But I have seen bigger. But I guess no one will know until Oliver Stone makes a film. And if you think the US is a "fascist" state. You haven't been to Australia yet....

@monavari Oh dude. Look up "Lawyer X" in Australia. In Melbourne, the cops used a defence lawyer as an INFORMANT ON HER CLIENTS!!! There are some serious nasty criminals about to get released because their lawyer was snitching on them... People think Australia is stupid and a backwater. But we are the ones the UK and USA use to spy on their citizens. Look up pine gap, and look up five eyes... Dude, it's something else... This week all the newspapers blacked out their front page as a protest for mass police raids on journalists for "whistleblowing"...

@@Chichilcitlalli Kissinger still has one too, much worse guy too. Islamic caliphates have unfortunately hindered scientific studies in many Islamic countries. China is just becoming a developed country with a middle class that can do things, India is a developing country still. They're also huge countries where people often don't get the chance or opportunities than many in the US and Western countries do. The Laureates and the Peace Prize are somewhat separate from each other despite given by the Nobel board. They're all silly titles in the end, just as Snowden said -- they will die, their legacies will eventually die. It's a sad fact, mathematical odds would have the next Einsteins as Chinese, Indian, Pakistani -- those countries contain a majority of the global population -- but they don't have the opportunity thanks to their government. It's not a contest for diversity. Sad fact is if you want to be a Laureate in any science, etc. you're going to have to relocate to where there is more freedom to pursue your studies.

when the fed come walking down the street a gun will be trained on them from every window in the street, that is a patriots duty. reminder it was the "patriots" who killed off government officials during 1776. if you are stuck in names and flags then you lost what it means to be "american" when you see patriots kill those with american flags and the insignia of the eagle remember that flag has abandoned you. same when the founding fathers who were once fighting under the union jack killed those who stayed loyal to it.
