if jesus died for their sin then why some people still go to hell by the bible? god gave numerous proofs but people choose to believe other people instead of god.god sent the first prophets to israel and they changed the torah then sent jesus pbuh and they made him a god even if the bible itself denies it if The bible is a witness on its own changing by humans. jesus is not God by the bible itself- God is capable of everything right? lets assume he split himslef to three than jesus who is himslef God in flesh calls God my God Matthew 27:46 and worships God in Matthew 26:39 and even if you say that nonsense of even if jesus is God he dont make himslef equal to the father then the bible says God is not a man Numbers 23:19 and that jesus is a man 1 Timothy 2:5. So he means seven skies inside the earth and each has its commandment plus god answers the question did he make the earth in six days:no because in the first 2 days there were no sky so no night and morning(a day) so god means a period using the word day. 3.the pharoh didnt die in the sea with moses pbuh watching just look for ramses 2 body its pharaoh body that stayed the same like weirdly the same as god stated So today We shall deliver thee with thy body, that thou mayest be a sign to those after thee. @@livingwater7580 lol ok. first of all whats your proofs i gave you mine that he is scientifically sent from God. the quran is all truth word by word with no one single mistake i dare you to find one(a real one not lies or misquoting or mistranselations from arabic) allah means arabic and in jesus language aramaic its the same word Ĕlāhā, or Alaha and pronouced the same. plus by two verse it shows even if there were a moon god as you say who is named allah which is logical because allah means God in arabic God showed he mean God the one who made the earth in 6 days split the sea, sent jesus and they made a God out of him... He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, even though God created both you and that which you have made?"-the quran 37.95. When he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?" They said, "We worship idols and remain to them devoted." ... Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds,-quran 26.77 Do they (the pagans) consider things that do not create anything but are themselves created equal to God?-the quran 7 verse 191. (Muslims), say, "We believe in God and what He has revealed to us and to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, and their descendants, and what was revealed to Moses, Jesus, and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among them and to God we have submitted ourselves."-the quran. I BELIVEVE IN THE BIBLE AND JESUS BECAUSE I HAVE THE PROOF THE MIRACELOUS QURAN AND AT LEAST I KNOW WHAT WAS ADDED BY HUMANS AND WHAT WAS NOT. FINALLY I WOULD LIKE TO QUOTE THE BIBLE ONLY GOD IS NOT A MAN.Numbers 23:19 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,1 Timothy 2:5. and jesus calling GOD MY GOD AND THEN WORSHIPING HIM IN JHON 18.6 Those who say that Jesus, the son of Mary, is God, have, in fact, turned to disbelief. Jesus said to the Israelites, "Worship God, my Lord and yours. God will deprive anyone who considers anything equal to God of Paradise and his dwelling will be fire. The unjust people have no helpers."-THE GREAT QURAN.

I was a lifelong of agnostic that slowly came to Eastern orthodox christianity My mom is ethnically Jewish but was a practicing non denominational list which never really sold me. I had to go and intellectually stump on the faith and then and do some serious both the research and soul searching. I never quite had I found Jesus moment. For me it was a longing and a struggle and finding a home and still dealing with my failures but know I have the family in the church And saints to support me in my trying to become close to the Lord. But I honestly when I went to a Eastern orthodox service the matins on Christmas Eve day I never cried so hard in my life being able to hear the divine liturgy in its beauty in English.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Jesus has many many millions upon millions of followers scattered all over this Earth, from many different backgrounds and denominations, if you can't handle this simple truth and you're telling yourself that only your denomination is the true church and only your members are children of God oh, that's a heck of a plank you have in your eye!! Jesus simply asks us to share the good news of the Gospel, not discourage and divide fellow Christians by self-righteously accusing them of being unGodly, you don't have to scroll down very far on this or other Christian videos find very hateful unchristian comments attacking each other, and yes I have certainly been guilty of this in the past I can testify that it only leads to guilt and shame, instead let us love and encourage our neighbor! Amen

i was confused about this as well before until i realized from reading the bible and searching that no denomination can actually save me. only JESUS CHRIST can save me. when people ask me what my religion is, i usually say that i do not have one but i do follow and love JESUS CHRIST as my messiah so i can identify as a christian(a person who follows and loves CHRIST) . i follow the teachings of GOD in the bible and i do not identify in any denomination. regarding where i go to church, i go to a Baptist church but i was clear when i talked to the pastor there that the baptist denomination cannot save people and that only JESUS can save people, and luckily we both had the same way of thinking. denominations cannot save people, only JESUS can for by his blood i am reconciled with the heavenly FATHER.

Wow. How true. I was baptized in the First Christian Church and soon learn that the Church of Christ and the First Christian Church were once one, but split over a disagreement about whether or not there should be music in church. Being young and often speaking before I thought, I pretty much said but that was a pretty stupid reason to split a church. The pastor seemed very offended and told me that, "Nevertheless, that was the truth!" So, it seems obvious that people can emphasize a difference to the exclusion of all commonalities. That is people. That is not God. Imperfect, fallen, indeed. Perhaps there is a deeper meaning to God referring to us as children.

I grew up (and still am) Pentecostal. I think he described the beliefs of Pentecostals quite well. As someone who has experienced some of these things first hand (speaking in tongues, divine healing, etc,) it is a powerful experience. Many people say it's emotionalism or anti-biblical, but it is absolutely real and genuine. I don't believe it was exclusively for the early church, as Acts 2:39 says "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call."

The book of Jude explains that false teachers the ones that divide the TRUE church. Because true Christians won’t stand by or accept false teachings because we are to contend for the faith. So what you’ve said is false, the true church doesn’t love division , false teachers love division. Also, as a church body we cannot disagree on core essential salvational issues like the gospel: Jesus dying on the cross, how we are saved, Christs resurrection, God beinga triune God (3in1) etc. BUT we CAN disagree on secondary issues and still be saved. God bless you 🙏🏼✝️

I’m nondenominational. I don’t even like to say I’m religious. I claim to be faithful to Christ our Lord. Church is where two or more are gathered in Jesus’ name. I have Church with my family and friends. I don’t physically go to a church because within the denominations they are so strict on their interpretation of the Bible and often human judgement spreads like weeds into their sermons. Maybe one day I can find a church I like, but I’m happy building my own personal relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit for now.

@Scout First, it’s awesome that you have decided to follow Jesus 😊. Welcome, friend!!! The most important thing to know is that the Bible is right. Every denominational teaching should be examined against the scriptures. When Christianity first began on the day of Pentecost, the men gathered asked the Apostles a simple question: What shall we do? Peter gave them a simple answer: Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission (removal) of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Now, I’m Acts 2:1, Acts 10 and Acts 19 we see repeatedly that the Holy Ghost came with a sign of tongues. Jesus also in Mark 16:16-17 said one of the signs that would follow believers was to speak in tongues. It’s a heavenly prayer language that is available to every believer. Now, Paul said in his letter to gentile believers not to believe any other Gospel than what was preached back then. So, we know that this is the doctrine we should continue to follow today, okay dear one? The Lord loves you and knows your heart for Him. Be baptized (it can be anywhere, even a beach or public pool or tub). It MUST be in the Name of Jesus. Remember, Colossians 3 tells us that In Jesus dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily so His Name is the Name of the titles that are Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Jesus has many titles, but one Name. And when you surrender to Him in prayer, you will be filled to overflowing with His Spirit and speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance

Just read the bible asking for guidance from our Lord to show you the truth. Really really pray about it, trust me, prayer works. When you do read the bible, don't trust yourself at all! if you get stuck in a verse, look for answers online in what that scripture really means, I advise you to at least have 2-3 references. Young man, religion is useless if you come out of the church the same person as you were before you came in. Religion doesn't save nor change you, Jesus can, I've experienced it first hand when I got to learn about grace (that it's a free gift, and I don't have to work my way to receive it but by putting my faith in Jesus' death on the cross). I'm an ex-catholic, never did anything to my faith. Also, be careful of calvinism and lorship salvation, a lot of people I know that have already come out of the false teachings they teach, trust me, you don't want to get involved in those. In the bible it says the truth will set you free. If you do decide to be part of a religion ask yourself that question (are you free?) and also pay attention to the people around your church if they're christlike. Knowing/following the correct gospel of salvation is more crucial to know than following the practices of some religion. The truth exists! it answers almost everything there is to know about life. Each one's own spiritual walk is different, but I suggest you do yours with prayer so God can direct you to the correct path. Love

@R Treadwell Scribes, prophets, editors, apostles, etc. wrote the Bible throughout history, by different authors in different places and time. You can also say that it was written by God through men. If you are doubting the existence of God and want evidence, the existence of Jews and map in the Bible is your evidence. If you want historical evidence, there is a book called the book of Acts in the Bible where Jesus' disciples and followers went to different places to spread the gospel.

I'm sure everything couldn't be covered in this short video, but a decent overview of the differences in denominations. We just need to be careful that our differences don't stem from an attitude found in 1 Corinthians 1:11-12. Some differences are so stark that it limits fellowship, and at the end of the day, someone has it wrong (in terms of some doctrinal differences). We definitely need to be in agreement on the essentials, but we need to prayerfully study the differences on secondary matters and put away our pride. Psalm 119:89 says, "For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven." In eternity, there will be no divisions or denominations; it would be wonderful if believers could get that settled here.

  • @2timothy23

@R Treadwell True faith is in Jesus Christ and following the doctrines in scriptures. Notice in Acts 2:41-44 the three thousand that were saved continued in the apostles' doctrine and had fellowship. The key is studying your Bible, understanding it, and applying it, all for the glory of God. But since there are many doctrines to understand (the Bible is infinite in content), no denomination is perfect. Everyone has something wrong. In fact, we wouldn't have the New Testament epistles if every church was doing the right thing because most of those epistles are directed towards churches that were misunderstanding certain doctrines (like we do today). If they misunderstood doctrines then, we're going to misunderstand doctrines now. If a denomination is teaching that you're saved by grace through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), that are preaching the Word of God (2 Timothy 4:2), that are equipping the saints in sound doctrine for ministry/growth (Ephesians 4:11-16), and sending brethren out to proclaim the gospel (Romans 10:14-17), then it is a good starting point. You won't know how accurate a particular church is until you have sat under their preaching, checked their core set of beliefs (usually a statement of faith), and searched/study the scriptures yourself to see if it is true (the way Acts 17:11 and 2 Timothy 2:15 shows). Denominations tend to think they are completely right about everything, but that is not true, but feel comfortable going to any church that has the essentials correct. We can't judge our faith on denominations, but how much that particular denominational church follows the scriptures. And that can't be done quickly because it takes time and discernment to know if that church is basically following doctrines or not. I know that is a quick answer, but there are so many dynamics to the question that a quick answer can only get you started. But it would be better to go into some of this then just naming a denomination and saying they have the true faith over another denomination; that would not be helpful at all.

Good video, but there are a couple more distinctions that would help explain the different Protestant denominations: First, the distinction between Calvinist and Arminian Soteriology. Second, how services are conducted under the Normative and Regulative Principles of Worship: formal liturgy, traditional hymns, contemporary praise bands, etc., and how the Principles' hermeneutic extends to use of images in churches. Third, the major Eucharistic theologies: Memorialism, Spiritual Presence, Sacramental Union, Consubstantiation, Transubstantiation, etc. Fourth, the Eschatological positions: Historical Premillennialism, Dispensational Premillennialism, Postmillennialism, and Amillennialism. Finally, and most importantly, the sufficiency of Scripture: to what extent does a denomination adhere to a commitment to Sola Scriptura, and what that commitment looks like when contrasted against "tradition." Are Scripture and Tradition equal (Catholicism)? Is Reason a third element to the equation (Anglicanism)? Is Scripture part of Tradition (Eastern Orthodoxy)? If Scripture is the only infallible authority, to what degree does a particular tradition dominate exegesis? Should the church's own historical interpretations be trusted over the study of present-day believers? Additionally, it may be worthwhile to point out "churches" that present as Christian but fall outside the orthodox definition: Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, etc.

Without the knowledge, wisdom and authority of the Catholic Church they will continue to divide themselves based on their own personal whims and interpretation of the Holy Scriptures, Scriptures made possible by the Catholic Church. Simply Google where the Bible came from and you can see. Martin Luther and subsequent Protestant leaders have been twisting the Bible for their own purposes for hundreds of years; of course that would result in fractions.

Jesus argued with the Pharisees, his disciples argued among themselves, Paul argued with Peter (Galatians), Barnabas a split with Paul and "all of Asia" rejected Paul (after he spent years preaching there). Paul said anyone who didn't agree with "my gospel" was to be put out and not associated with. The New Testament is nothing but argument and conflict. There was never much love and unity. Once they had the Bible, Christians started burning 'heretics' at the stake. Religion and murder go hand in hand. I made you a video, kzread.info/dash/bejne/rGl818egkdypesY.html, enjoy and review.

@@reuti4135, that Scripture is in no way supporting infant baptism. There is no indication in that account that there were any infants in the household. Furthermore, we do not know if there were any children or teenagers in that household since the mention of household could include individuals of any age. It is simply irresponsible to add to the Scriptures words that do not exist. Even when looking at the original Greek text one cannot find support for such a conclusion.

The fact is: Christianity is not a religion! It is a relationship!! It has nothing to do with rituals of any kind! That is the liberty that a born again believer has in Christ. If one is truly "born again" he understands why so much confusion! It is simply because the focus is on "what I can do" rather than "what Jesus Christ has already done". He died on the Cross for anyone who will humble accept His sacrifice as payment for sin! That fact changes everything,! Anyone today "whosoever will" shall be saved! True worship is not in a building made with hands; it is in Spirit and Truth! The Holy Spirit and the Truth of God's Holy Word! God will not bless our human efforts to please Him. He is pleased because we honor Him for what He has done; and then He works through us in the form of the Holy Spirit! I just have to say, "God is not the author of confusion'! If confusion exist, it is because, we are listening to a wrong voice! He Spirit brings peace; of mind and body!

I'm not sure if it's already been addressed or not, but, here it is: Should the books of The Apocrypha be taken as true or authoritative at all, even if only from a historical and literary standpoint (in what ways, if any, are they authoritative)? What is the most accurate mindset to have if/when reading the books of The Apocrypha, and how do we bridge that gap with churches who do consider them canon, like The Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, and Coptic churches, and others who also have apostolic roots?

Christ and the apostles used the Septuagint (LXX) which included the deuterocanonical books. Two thirds of the OT quotes in the NT are from the Septuagint. Here is an example where the Greek gospels present Jesus as quoting the Septuagint: In Mark 7:6-7, Jesus quotes the Septuagint of Isaiah 29:13 when he says, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.’” Christ never stated in Scripture that these books aren't the Word and should be avoided. If the deuterocanonical books are good enough for Him, who am I to disagree with Him? That's enough evidence of inspiration for me.

Honestly, what I did was start looking at church statement's of beliefs and their sermons (almost all of them post their sermons online, even our tiny church!) and attended a few. I thought I wanted a "non-denominational" but ended up in a Baptist church ( I was hesitant at first) - these people are so wonderful at my church. As long as Scripture is truthfully taught in the church and the Spirit is present, you'll be blessed (and hopefully God will use you to bless others!) -- the minor differences are just that -- minor. I mean -- we have some extremely smart elders in our church (we're currently looking for a pastor) and even the elders have disagreements on some minor things (and will preach them) but it's always done in love, and it's about the non-essentials. On the essentials (salvation by grace, through faith, in the one and only name of our redeemer, Jesus Christ, who is God incarnate) everyone agrees. We all strive to understand the Bible as clearly as possible, knowing that there are disagreements on some things (for instance the rapture, timing of the 2nd coming, etc.) It's all good and gives us stuff to lovingly debate, while worshipping God as truthfully as possible from Scripture on the things He's very clear about!

Ex: if a greek speaker began to speak in arabic without knowing arabic. Tongues is not an "angelic language." The sign and tongue gifts stopped at the end of the apostolic age as described in Hebrews 1:1-2. For argument sake let's say that the jibberish coming out a mans mouth is him speaking in tongues, and another man is there and interprets what he is saying, then if what he is saying is from God, then he is speaking new revelation from God and it has the exact same weight and authority of the written word of God, the Bible. The Bible is a closed canon of scripture, period. No new revelation will be given to man as Hebrews 1:1-2 says, and God has given us His word, the bible, to guide us until His return. God's word is completely inspired, inerrant, infallible, and sufficient.

Best way for each person is to read their Bible. Read multiple bibles. Get to know the word and your relationship with it. After that I believe it is safe to dive into different churches. Don't feel pressure to be a part of something when it is best to be apart from everything outside of your individual relationship with God

It's not complicated and the different denominations do not differ on salvation, or what would be termed "the essentials". He says as much in this video. The different denominations largely come from disagreement on governance and liturgy. They do not differ that your salvation is found in repenting of your sins and believing in Christ crucified. The only real split, as he once again addressed in the video, is between liberal theology and traditional theology. So you should ask yourself, does God's word need to be subjected to human reason? Or does human reason need to be subjected to God's word? Salvation by grace: Do you accept that you are not a good person? Do you accept that your ways are evil? Do you accept that without God and the work Jesus did on the cross, that you are a child of wrath destined for hell? Salvation through Christ alone: Do you believe that the blood of Jesus was enough to cover your sins-past, present, and future? Do you believe that salvation is found in no one else and that no one can come to the Father except through Christ? The resurrection: Do you believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected? Do you believe that his resurrection is the promise and proof that he was who he said he was and that we too shall be resurrected in his name? The deity of Christ: Do you believe that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God... and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth? (John 1:1,14) Monotheism: Do you believe that there is only one God, and that this God is the king eternal of the universe? That you shall not have any other gods before Him? The Trinity: Do you accept that God is a three-in-one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that while they are distinct persons, and serve different roles, they are the same God? The Gospel: (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For I have brought to you as of first importance, what I also received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, the he was buried, that he was raised on the third day, in accordance with the scriptures. Be wary of a false gospel (Galatians 1:8-9) If all these questions are a yes, then just pick a church that believes, preaches, and teaches these things and you'll be good. Find a place that challenges you, where you experience growth, and a place where you feel the presence of God. Stay away from a church who's sermons are motivational speeches, never convict you of your sins, and never call for repentence and acceptance of Christ. Doesn't matter what the denomination is

Different denominations can be broke down into 2 main categories. Saved by works. (catholic and off shoots of it). Saved By Grace. (baptist, assembly of God, ect). problem you run into now is that they both have watered down things so much that it has become a "g"od of love. Instead a "G"od who loves us enough to send Christ to die on the Cross to save us. Expecting us to REPENT and turn from our sins He forgives us of. Now they do not want to offend people so they say their god accepts everyone and do not bring up anything about changing your sinful lifestyles.

If you want to understand Christianity, read the Bible for yourself. As this video makes it pretty clear, there is a significant number of division among Christians today; division even Jesus spoke against. Beyond that, many Christians will try to point you to resources to help you understand what you are reading (I'm resisting the temptation to do the same). Although helpful at times, the ultimate goal is to understand the God it writes about. Not the religion. The religion will point to men (some who love God, some who don't).

@kindersir The Catholic Church was founded by Christ and is the oldest Christian denomination. History supports this. If it were not for the Catholic Church, Protestants would not have the Bible to argue over, misquote and selectively disregard. I was once lost when I was a Protestant. Coming home to the Catholic Church was one if the greatest moments in my life.

@@angelahagemeyer698 I agree that the catholic church has a better leg to stand on than the protestant churches, in regards to claim on authority. Although it is not biblical to pray to saints, and there is no mediator between man and God, but only Christ. I can see a possible, but stretching interpretation of transubstantiation and infant baptism. Indulgences, celibacy, and other teachings/practices is just not the Christianity that Christ taught. Holy Tradition has brought the church into error/apostasy. I respect Catholics, and persons of faith/goodwill. But in reference to Linus succeeding Peter as pope, the first reference about this pops up around 180AD. I am just not convinced of apostolic succession

Which denomination? Discovering the body that fits best is like, well, like the rock band remaking a classic Sinatra hit. Sometimes the cover is better then the original. Settle into where you feel the beat. Where the vibe makes you want to move. Where your invited to make your own emotional contributions. Where your as welcomed as you are appreciated, & where you become fully alive, & where there are NO STRINGS ATTACHED, unless YOU tie the knot. Amen

No where in the scriptures say baptize you’re infants. It did say train up your child in the way it should go. For a infant too know nothing about God isn’t the way you should go about giving your spiritual inheritance too your baby. Instead let the brain develop too know right from wrong and too know who is God and how too pronounce Gods name and spell it.
