ATTENTION! Before making a comment please remember these groups attacked us Christians first, they either claimed we were an abomination and or they were the one true church so the cults attacked Christianity first, as the result of this along with their false gospel Protestants & Evangelicals labeled these groups as cults, I did not come up with this label, this belief existed well over 100 years before I was even born. These are the 4 major cults that claimed to be the authentic version of Christianity. The Mormons said all other churches were an abomination, the SDA false prophet Ellen White claimed only Adventists who were in the movement by 1844 could be saved. The JW's claim only they can go to heaven nobody else and the CS founder once said if Jesus did not exist it would make no difference to her. The point of this video is not to criticize other faiths its is to point out that these groups do not represent true Biblical Christianity, instead they were all hostile to it. Today now that they have gained some acceptance they are trying to reform their image but make no mistake about it their teachings are not in line with the true Biblical gospel.

Thank you for this breakdown. I am a 4th generation JW born in. I have only dared to look outside of Watchtower publications for the last 2 years. Now that I am fully aware that I was raised in a cult and raised my children in a cult as well, I am putting as much time and effort I can into learning Bible truths with fresh eyes and reading Christian teachers from long ago to the present times. Like the Mormons, JW’s teach that there was a great apostasy that occurred after the last Apostle died and that Christendom is all false Christianity and that JW’s alone are the restored true Christian Church. They do such a thorough job of “demonizing” mainstream Christian churches and beliefs(ie. the Trinity), that when JW’s wish to leave Watchtower Organization, they often turn atheist because it is so ingrained in them to think all the Christian Churches are evil and false. I pray for them over this. I am nearing 60 years old now and am so grateful to God for waking up to true Christianity while I still have as much of my mental faculties as I do😊 It is a joy for me to hear Christians like you now and now we are brother and sister in Christ😊 God Bless You in your ministry❤

Most people who claim to listen to sprit are the most lost ones because what they usually tell us from the sprit contradicts with God's word.

I have been to a seventh Day Adventist church before. The time I spent there they preached and taught by the Bible scriptures and studied them very earnestly. Their food intake was very strict due to health reasons and most were very healthy people and some of the nicest people I've ever met in this life. They follow the Saturday day of Sabbath due to the ten commandments. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. The original Sabbath day was on Saturday. They are strict on keeping that day holy.

I was born and raised SDA and I will agree that the people can be very friendly, until you become a member and get deeply involved. They would appear to study from the bible very earnestly, but the investigative judgment is not in the bible, placing the children of God on probation. They take the word of Ellen White above the Holy Bible. That is not biblical teaching. Even if they appear to study the bible earnestly, they are not following it earnestly if Ellen Whites writings hold supreme authority above the bible. It is a works-based religion. Keeping the Sabbath almost becomes their salvation, instead of Jesus who died on the cross and atoned for our sins with his blood. It was a gift. We do not work for a gift, because it is given freely. They do not believe that his blood atoned for our sins on the cross. That is why they invented the investigative judgment. The history of Ellen White is full of questionable things. Some of these religions that are named came out of the Millerite movement called the great disappointment. Which was a false prophesy and prediction, and also why the SDA came up with the investigative judgment instead of admitting it was a false prophesy. That was the foundation upon which that religion was built. It is a faulty foundation in my opinion. As the comment from DanielPerez-ed4rn states, Jesus said on the cross, it is finished. He defeated sin, death, Satan. He rose from the dead and sits at the right hand of God in heaven.

My parents were JW’s from the time I was 9 till I was 15 1/2. It tore our closeness as children from my folks. When they left the JW’s I was almost 16. We rebounded but it took years. My big brother and I HATED going to their Kingdom Hall. I was saved when I was 31. My mom accepted Christ in 1999, my Father I need to sit down and ask him what he believes. My olderbrother wants NOTHING to do with Jesus. I try every few months and have for years. My little-brother died when I was 9, he was 2. He’ll be in heaven and I can’t wait to see him again. My daughter and her husband are saved. Praise God!!

I have read a pamphlet or 2 written by White, or serious followers, probably White. It was so wrong, in that, it obviously disputed against true Christianity, with worldly and erroneous logic. The woman had visions contrary to what the Bible said, 1800 years after Christ! There is no way, no how, they are true. They appeal to man's search for immediate answers to questions about the Bible and God, rather than asking God and waiting for His answers, which many times is instant. I have learned, what I received in the beginning concerning God's word, I will not give up, unless I am proven to be wrong. It has not happened yet. God truly led me to His truth. Anyone who who diverts from basic Bible beliefs is not satisfied to live holy, but rather seeks joy from people, in them approving of them. The Bible says please God, not man. If one is not spiritual, in that, they reject the truth when it concerns their carnal living and carnal thinking, they will get it backwards. Many SDAs have carnal explanations for God's word, not spiritual. It shocks me, because it's in almost everything I discuss with them. And God's explanations, which are spiritual which manifests in godly thinking and living, they reject almost categorically. Things born again Christians, all true Christians are born again, John 3:3,5,7, easily understand, SDAs look puzzled and talk about what White has written...proving White and her writings are their Lord. What I believe comes from the Bible, as taught by the Holy Spirit. Do you see the difference? Do not tell me White is a prophet sent to teach the Bible in truth, when it goes against Christian truth. The Mormons say the same thing. Jehovah's Witnesses say the same thing. There were major cults founded in the 1800s, as if for 1800 years, God was deceiving us. It is stupifying that anyone could fall for that. But the devil is more clever and devious than any person, and is the father of lies. If one is not surrendered to God, the devil can take them at his will. It happens to ones who call themselves Christians. I will not fall for the lies of the wicked one. 1800 years later and you believe them? We really are not as smart or wise as we think. You actually are accusing God of hiding the truth for 1800 years. Which He would never do. Those 1800s cults that deny the truth of the Bible, they are enemy plants. Satan raised up their founders. He appeared as an angel of light to them. Pray, for God alone shows truth. You notice, in those 1800 years, God sent no prophet to give a new gospel. Prophets are here today, to prophecy, not to found new beliefs. You have been deceived. This is straight talk, not itching ears talk. It is from God.

I was raised deeply entrenched in Christian Science. I even sang solo for their services, as did my mother. My grandmother was a CS practitioner. I would love to see you delve deeper into the religion than just reading info on the web. There is, indeed, nothing Christian or Scientific about it. I removed myself in 1994 and got born again in 1996. To know the true God, and His son, Jesus, has been the JOY of my life. I will say that at least Christian Science taught me there WAS a God, for which I am grateful.

I too was raised in Christian Science. My parents went to Principia HS and college. I went to Principia for a year in HS. I used to go to Cedar's CS camp and later to Adventures Unlimited CS summer camp. My dad was a first reader in the church in my teenage years. My mom died from cancer because a CS practitioner tried to tell her she couldn't serve two masters(the medical world and God) and so my mother stopped treatment and very soon afterwards died. My dad and his new wife are still both practicing Christian Scientists. I got out in early 2013 and was saved in Sept 2013 by God. I try plant seeds for my dad as often as I can. My dad's new wife had a melt down when I tried to have an actual conversation about Christ and that the Bible is what is real, not what MBE tried to teach because she twisted and contradicted the Bible over and over again in the science and health. I was able to help lead my sister away from CS too. I have also created the generational change in my family by marrying a Christian woman and brining all 3 of my children to Christ. I will say there are some very nice people in CS, but they have just been snowballed with false beliefs and promises.

Yes, Luke was a PHYSICIAN, so it IS o.k. for people to seek treatment through doctors for their illnesses, ailments, injuries and health. That's why God GIVES us doctors and medicine. I just wish your Mom would've continued on with her treatment and hopefully gotten better. 😕

@@glenturney4750 no they (Christian scientists) don't. In Christian science, they cherry pick out verses to make or validate the weekly lesson subject. They do not actually read books or even large parts of books of the bible. They will selectively choose verses all across the bible, so one never gets context. They instead rely on Mary Baker Eddy's interpretation so they know or understand how to think about what was just read in the Bible. In the CS church, the first reader reads the science and health (and is the primary speaker during church service) and the second reader reads the Bible, so all emphasis is put on what MBE says over the Bible. That was one of the reasons I started paying really close attention to what was being said and started to pick up on all the inconsistencies and argumentative and contradictive statements made by MBE in contrast to the Bible. Thank you for your nice words about my mother. It's been 10 years now, but I am still a little bitter about the falsehoods my mother was fed.

I joined the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in 1996 at the age of 17 while searching for God and after studying with many denominations including most of the Protestant churches. I can say having been in this denomination for over 20 years I have been hearing this and no one has been able to take their bibles and prove it, it’s far from a cult. If you would like to have a cordial biblical discussion on this I would be more than happy to do so.

@ tree of life ministries I used to be a SDA because of being raised in it. I left when I realized that their doctrines were not sound and their prophetic views were messed up too, and egw had a lot to do with that. Although it's not a full on cult, it does have some methods of luring and entrapping potential followers into their beliefs and holding them. A lot more could be said. One thing I learned and understand about that church like others is they have and hold on to a Very Very small view of God's overall plan. And they have a belief similar to the rapture, a fly away belief. They take some scriptures as literal instead of spiritual. More could be said.

Thank you for you cordial response. Not all SDA represent the core beliefs and tenants of the church as it should. I’m a traveling evangelist and I have been all around the world preaching and do realize that there are some rigidity within the denomination. If you go from denomination to denomination you will find the same amongst all, that there are various belief and mischaracterizations within. However, after speaking with so many people for so many years who put out public messages like this, most have not sat down with someone and discussed some of the sentiments that is shared within this video. I find that many shape their beliefs of others without context. Google doesn’t tell the whole truth. I believe sitting down breaking bread together, opening up the scriptures and have discussion on the various views is the apostolic and biblical method. We are doing that now with a groups and they realize that all they have been hearing about SDAs were mischaracterizations. We don’t have a special SDA Bible. We use the same Bible. All I am saying is let’s come together, open up the word and discuss. I was skeptical myself before joining twenty seven year ago until I sat down and the Bible was opened. What I found is that everything that we believe is founded in the Word. 27 years later many open discussions it’s the same. We have nothing to hide let’s opens up the word and see what it says. To call us a cult publicly like this is flat out wrong and has no biblical basis.

Teaching that Christ transferred (defiled) the temple by His blood and that judgement of believers began in the 1800's and still continues or as EGW...."We don't know when he will finish it and start with the living" (paraphrasing). Her prophesies about Turkey being raised to the ground, the congregation at Battle Creek would be alive at His return and so many others have failed. Forbidding to eat meat directly contravenes the scripture and Paul's warning of doctrine of demons in the latter days. He used the example.of forbidding to eat meat!!! After leaving the Mormon church, which I grew up in and was a member of for 37 years, I tried to find a new Christian home, so I spent a lot of time researching other Christian churches. And after all that, I can honestly say that there is not a single Christian church or dogma in this world that I trust to teach me the pure truth of Christ. ALL of them have the exact same issues as the church I was raised in. Which is all basically summed up by: "Let God guide you to the truth-unless that truth conflicts with what I say, then listen to me instead." THAT mindset is the whole definition of a cult and its in EVERY, single Christian church I look into. I've had enough of it. There is more of it in this video. I don't need it. No Christian person in this world needs it. I want a pure relationship with my Savior with no middle man or woman in between. If I am a child of God then He can speak to me just as well as He can to any prophet. So I will speak to Him directly and let Him guide me. Only He has the pure truth at this point.

I don't go to any church but I do talk to God a lot, I pretty much do nothing on Saturday, Sunday I do laundry and clean house and start the week

Church is a people where people of the same mind about God meet and fellowship together. But that's one event. We still need to go and search the scriptures yourself. The pastors should be telling the members that constantly. We're all just vessels. As you've read the Bible in your personal time, and find a church home, that's the idea. If you're going through something, who do you go to when you need a boost of encouragement, boosted prayer, maybe other fellowships? Paul had his go to people and other churches he visited helped him financially and through encouragement (mentioned in Phil 4). He also mentioned that we should not forsake the gathering of brethren That's what the church body is for as well. People are people, but when God is involved, the vessels are a great help

Read several books of EG white, most especially the book "The Great Controversy". My motive was to search and find God. I can say with a clear conscience that the things I've read and learned for myself are NON-cultic. I pray that God's Spirit shall teach, convict and lead us all to the Source of Truth! May you share only scripture that proves that Sunday worship is the MOB? Secondly EGW said the Lord does nothing in combination with Satan, but in the great controversy Satan is the final sin bearer for believers. Doesn't that mean both Satan and Christ then play a part in salvation?

It's because of Christian Science that my parents died needlessly as they both refused medical attention to preventable diseases. I being their son escaped this horrible Cult by myself

@@Know_it302 Of course. Saying May the Holy Spirit bless you, Jesus or YHWH bless you is equal because they are God, and these 3 persons together still make 1 God. We humans cannot do that just like as 3 identical brothers cannot be 1 brother, God is so powerful that he can do anything and be anything, like dividing himself (or be warped if you like) into 3 different persons and still be 1.

You forgot one thing JW also says that Jesus didn't get crucified on a cross, that he got crucified on a steak or stake. After 20 years of studying with them I had to leave them alone they were driving me insane to the point of contemplating suicide. God bless you.

My grandfather was a Christian science. When I was like 6 years old I accidentally broke my arm. My grandfather being the only adult home, would not take me to a hospital, rather he believed he could reset my broken arm. Sure enough, he broke it again in another place. When my mom came home to find my arm broke in two places and why. You can imagine the talk those two must have had.

My mom is/was Christian Science. (She doesn’t go to church anymore. All of her church friends are deceased. And she finally went to a doctor because she had really high blood pressure. And she got two knees replacements) Going to a doctor to get a bone set and cast is actually ok in the Christian Science doctrine. As is going to the dentist and getting cavities filled. (And any other dental work) Thankfully my mom always took me to the doctor. And back in the 70s and 80s you had to be vaccinated if you were going to school. I absolutely agree that Christian Science is neither Christian nor Science. I will say that unlike the JWs, 7th Day Adventists, and the Mormons; nobody gets into anyone else’s business. No one could call one the Readers (they don’t have pastors, just readers who read from the Bible and “Science and Health With Keys to the Scriptures”) and tattle on a fellow member of the church. Which is very unlike JWs and Mormons especially. Both of those churches have a culture of tattling. Baptist and Evangelical churches also are big tattlers too. I became Episcopalian. There is zero tattling. And we don’t quote scripture at each other. Most of what my church does is help the poor and homeless. There is a permanent Homeless Shelter on the church campus. And the Priest’s House was removed and low cost housing was built.

From a Law point of view, what is the meaning of Testament?

I'm a proud member of the 7th day Adventist "cult". I believe in the spirit of prophecy and the testimony of Jesus. I believe we are living in the last days, the final moments of earth history based on the Bibles teaching. Jesus is coming soon and none of this matters, if it doesn't edify to my salvation.

Ellen White is not the spirit of prophecy the Adventist church does not say she is, but her works and writings show a manifestation of the Spirit of prophecy. All who believe and obey God's commandments would have the spirit of prophecy as the Holy Spirit is given to them who obey Acts 5:32. All the prophets had the spirit for prophecy, God end time people will also have the spirit of prophecy Rev 12:17 calls it the testimony of Jesus Christ. Don't you have a testimony of what you learned from his word? Well, that testimony is called the spirit of prophecy Revelation 19:10. @@junkmedicine In my local SDA church most of people use EGW as last resort or to fill the gaps. General Conference does base lot of sabath school materials on here writings, but in regular debates she is rarely quoted. For me personaly, I think she has great writings about general christian history, shallow writings about health and interesting looks on stories from Bible. I am not fully convinced that God revealed here details about stories from the bible and prophecies about end of time. It feels safer to stick to the Bible. But her christian history writings is so good that other curches theologists read it too.

I left the Catholic Church because I had lots of questions about purgatory, praying to saints, worshiping idols etc. I am now a babtized born again Christian, my family is mostly catholic, so when one of my relatives died I asked the priest during the service if I could take communion, I explained to him that I have professed Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal savior , he denied me the table of Jesus Christ, because I was not a member of the Catholic Church. That really shocked me. Jesus would never turn any one away from his table.

When a person leaves the Catholic Church, whether they leave of their own accord-( like you did), or are forced out due to another reason, that term is called Excommunication. Excommunication means not being able to receive the Holy Eucharist. Your priest didn’t refuse you communion because he’s a jerk or doesn’t like you, it’s because you excommunicated yourself from the Catholic faith. He’d be a very wrong priest if he allowed you TO partake in Holy Communion. You have to be a believer in One Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church to receive the Holy Eucharist, and since you left the church, the sacraments are no longer available to you, even if you still believe in Jesus.

Just read the last ten (10)chapters of that book written in the 1800s, everything she wrote 100% is playing out in the world today. From that day, i refused to take people's opinions. Besides that, I stumbled upon a testimony of Roger Morneau. That sent me back to the Bible. Am now doing serious studies about the true sabbath of God, and what am discovering, Its certainly NOT Sunday.

Romans catholic church altered the sat sabbath to sunday. Sun god. But the sabbath was for jews not gentiles the 10 commandments were also the jews not the gentiles. Nt saints are given 2 commandments +1 .

I was a Pentecostal Christian for a long time, and had a lot of questions about death, resurrection, prophecy ... Then I found the truth in the SDA church all my questions were answered so easily. Before, the book of revelations and Daniel were not even attempted to be explained in church. For all those wanting to know the truth I encourage you to read the bible for your self and not listen to a person point of view of what is out there. Have an open mind in seeking the truth in the bible and God will guide you.

The Seventh Day Adventist Church's origination came out of the Millerite Movement under William Miller who decided the Lord was coming sometime in October of 1844. Those people came out of the Methodist and Baptist church. The Great Controversy Book still causes me nightmares at age 72.

Trooper, in Christian seminary circles, it is called "Theocratic Tact"...not releasing the difficult belief-passages until one is hooked on the minors...then the listener is more apt to swallow the woeful anti-bible doctrines of the 7th Day. They now say literal hell does NOT exist, that it is simple eternal death in the grave. They are also sadly trapped in much of the OT - mandatory Sabbath worship, to do otherwise is of the devil and the mark of the beast. They strongly discourage eating meat and other things in the OT (call it "flesh food"), fermented beverages (wine) are evil, and now subtitle encouraging the shunning of jewelry - including wedding rings as one becomes more holy to God...seriously. Jesus and the apostles warned about this and more: when to worship, what to eat and drink, hyper doctrines that oppose the Word of God and much more. Was raised a Christian Scientist. It is an impenetrable box of impressive sounding waffle, devised by the demonic, and locked from the inside by the one who believes it. You have summarized it well. The cult is dying, and churches that were once large and full are limping along with a handful of elderly members. Thank God. I went to a church service of theirs not knowing what it really was and had an immediate red flag when they started refering to God as both the Father AND THE MOTHER (or something like that). Something about the devine feminine. I instantly felt uncomfortable about my $2 donation.

I was raised a 7th Day Adventist, and it is my belief that every denomination is a cult. They all have the opportunity for salvation, but it comes only by Jesus Christ, and not by any denomination. Many recognize Jesus as the way, but they also subscribe to the theology of their church guru's... I believe it is about a relationship with Each of us and Jesus. The word of God is the letter He has preserved for us, and we can hear and be heard through prayer! We can access Jesus through those tools. We do not need churches to access YHWH, just His Son, Jesus.

Me too, since 1978. The more I study the Bible (NOT EGW), the more I am convinced it is GOD'S Truth! I guarantee you that not one of the sheeple listening to this pastor's lies has bothered to go the official website to learn what we REALLY believe and teach! It's sooooo much easier to listen to someone else tell you what you already desire to hear instead of going to the SOURCE. When I desired to learn what Mormons teach, I went to their official website. When I desired to learn what Roman Catholicism teaches, I downloaded their official Catechism apps, when I desired to learn what Orthodoxy teaches, I went through their official catechism at a Greek Orthodox cathedral, when I desired to learn what Jehovah's Witnesses teach I asked a JW missionary. I have personal experience in the Baptist Church for years, and it is by far THE most hostile against those outside of it. I went to the Methodist Church from a small child until I was 12. Won't go back. This was nice. Thank you. You did well in bringing out a few things of each of these denominations. I wondered why about Mormon churches, since as a child in Utah I had become a member. When we moved to Texas, mom went back to church she felt comfortable with. The Church of Christ. When I was told things about Jehova Witness by folks who had never been there I had to check it out. Quite a difference from scriptural. I was interested in checking out the Seventh Day Adventists but in looking to see how the felt about Jews and Israel - I didn't study them any further. The Scientology church is really strange. I didn't know anything about them. Another strange way to have church in what I experienced is the Quaker church. I found that most of my teachers through my lifespan have been Baptist. Billy Graham started me off with his little book on How to study the Bible. I listened to Charles Stanley and Derek Prince, now I listen to Jack Hibbs sermons on Sunday and Wednesday. I love the Church, the body of Christ everywhere. I pray He will show everyone His truth or make us aware of scriptural truth so we are not following false prophets. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I am a student of scripture for life.

I’m 70 and have been in and out of the SDA church since I was 12, but a Christian in name only, until almost 9 years ago. I’ve studied the teachings in the Bible and Ellen White’s writings extensively. So I concur only that SDA teachings are as close to the Bible as any I can find. We teach righteousness by faith, that we are saved by Christ alone. Good works doesn’t contribute to our salvation, but a true Christian will have them. All other denominations I’ve studied or had any experience with err on obedience to God’s will. They would rather obey men and their philosophies instead of God in His Word. Hence the Sabbath. Twice in Revelation, God’s people are presented as keeping God’s commandments, which are the 10 commandments. Impossible in men’s effort alone, hence the need of righteousness by faith. While we are all sinners by nature, it doesn’t mean God expects us to stay that way. Christ imputes and imparts His righteousness to us. Right thinking and right doing. Also, there is nothing of works in the investigative judgement. It is all done by Christ, who is our advocate and judge. It’s not so that God can discover who will be saved because He already knows. It’s so that all the universe will know the reasons behind God’s decisions. It only make sense that this judgement takes place before Christ’s return, because that’s when the decisions for the saved will get executed. In Revelation 14, there are 3 angels (heavenly messengers with messages) that tell us the judgement has commenced in the 1st angel’s message, with 2 yet to go. In Daniel, it sets the time that this takes place as 1844. The 2300 day/year prophecy that started when king Artexerxes made the declaration for the Jews to return to Jerusalem and begin rebuilding the city and the temple. 2300 years later is 1844. There are time markers along the way in this prophecy of the 70 week prophecy that help to pinpoint the years. The last week (7 years) of the first 70 weeks (70 x 7 = 490 days:years) is the time when Jesus started His ministry at baptism , died 3 1/2 years later, then the gospel went out into all the world 3 1/2 years after He died and was resurrected. So there is biblical prophetic science of the 1844 date. Most people miss that because some people in the last 200 years have mistranslated the 70th week as a future time of some antichrist instead of seeing Jesus in it.

Actually the teaching of the last week in the 70 weeks of Daniel 9 being some time in the future began in the late 1500s and early 1600s by Jesuit scholars. Look up: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luis_del_Alc%C3%A1zar en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francisco_Ribera en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manuel_Lacunza There was a growing Protestant movement at the time where students of bible prophecy were claiming the prophecies were pointing at the Papacy being the anti-christ of the last days. The current Pope commissioned some Jesuit scholars to look into those prophecies and come up with anything they could to discredit those teachings. Aside from inventing the 7-year tribulation they also came up with a few other things such as dividing the Medo-Persian Empire into 2 separate nations then claiming the bear in chapter 7 was the Medes, the leopard as the Persians thereby making the 4th beast Grecia and the little horn as Antiocus Epiphanes. I seem to remember also the 1,000 year reign on earth was a Jesuit teaching also.

I've come to very similar conclusion. I'm 65. Been investigating this God, bible thing since when I was 19. If I were to choose an organized religion, I would probably choose SDA. They have the Sabbath thing right. They seem to be for the most part a nonjudgmental people. Argument over one conscience on another is futile. Example : Some SDA are vegetarian. Some eat meat. But they don't push one idea or the other. I understand that the bible says you can eat what you want, but don't eat blood. My conclusion. Humans are in a forsaken state. Jesus said it when he was being killed. I don't like the word and discription " crucified ", because it has a pagan ring to it. Just what my conscience says to me. Just like I don't like the description " religion " either. We can't know the complete truth of God until we know His pure language. We have been left in the lurch. Pure language is yet for the future. I've done my best, and if my best is not good enough for God, go ahead God kill me off. Broad and spacious is road leading to destruction. Don't want to be on that road. Hope I'm not part of 2nd Corinthians 4:4. No way to tell for sure. My conscience is just as faulty as yours.

Phineas Gage is a classic study of brain trauma. Before and after effects. Einstein had more gray matter than you or me. We have the technology now to look into the brain. The MRI don't lie. Why is there such a great divide ? This labeled republican democrat thing. It is because of brain activity. For some reason, democrats use the anterior Cingular cortex part of the brain as the defense and reasoning mechanism. The republicans use a different part of the brain. Then we have genetic triggers. People are at the mercy of them. Reading and studying the Bible, meditation and prayer certainly has a healing effect. Just like eating good food.

I had a comparative religion class in HS. Father Thier was our teacher. He told us that SDAs all have ascension robes. And even few years they stand on a hilltop and wait for Jesus to come back. . .then I met an Adventist and I asked her. She was surprised that anyone would say that. I always go directly to source to discover what they believe

Asking "Father" Thier or any other priest about the SDA is a bit like asking a prisoner if they are guilty. Although most of their leadership has gone apostate, the SDA are the only protestant denomination that still (correctly) identifies the papal system as antichrist.

The SDA arose out of the Millerite movement which mistook the 1844 end of the 2300 years of Daniel 9 : 24 to 27 Prophecy to be the return of Jesus = the Ascension. I thank God for being an SDA. Regardless of the attacks, true SDAs cling to our beliefs that are drawn from the bible. EGW was a passionate bible advocate. I challenge anyone to set aside their preconceived ideas about her and read her writings. I suggest to start with Steps to Christ, then read the Desire of Ages and then the Great Controversy. I also thank God for the Sabbath because that helps me to recharge after working during the week. I am then able to focus on serving others and spending quality time with God throughout the day: through reading my bible and prayer, or walking in nature or being with my family or church family.

True Christians have their beliefs from the Bible, too. But we disagree with you. Main reason is we believe if something in the OT is not confirmed in the NT, it is no longer a commandment. Sabbath is not confirmed to a day in the NT. Look up Sabbath in a bible cincordance. It refers to a day and the days in between the Sabbath in the new testament.. That is where we get 7 days a rest a week, as Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath. You must know what words mean. That said, you can observe the Sabbath in truth and God will be pleased, unless you are disobeying God in life. God gives rest, not a day.

I Thank my Lord that I was liberated from Adventism about 14 years ago. What a Blessing it is to be free in the Lord. I urge Adventists to put aside Ellen White's private interpretations and anti biblical ideology, and instead focus on what the Bible actually says. Start by reading the gospels to understand the love and ministry of Jesus. I would then switch to Paul's letters to understand the pillars of Christianity and Main Believes. The source of truth is the Bible and Bible alone!

I am a Seventh-day Adventist. My church came out of the Millerite movement of 1844. After the great disappointment of 1844, some who still believed in the 2300 day prophecy of Daniel 8:14 came together for encouragement and worship. These people had been disfellowshipped from their previous churches for being Millerites and they came out of all the major and minor churches of their day. They didn't agree on matters of doctrine so one of their first acts was to go through the various doctrines one at a time in order to come to agreement. These meetings were called "The Great Sabbath Conferences". We determined to accept nothing but a clear "thus saith the Lord" from Scripture for any of our doctrines. This took a very long time, from 1844 to 1864 when we ?became the denomination called Seventh-day Adventists. Sister White did not play a major role in "The Sabbath Conferences". Most of the doctrines were hammered out without her help. The only times she took a part was when the conference were at a point where the differences seemed insurmountable, she would then be given a Biblical text which she would relay to the conference that would get them to talking again. At one point, the conference agreed that the Jewish Sabbath was the Biblical Sabbath and that it had never been changed by Christ or the Apostles, Sister White and her husband decided that they could not go along with this and were on their way out when it was revealed to her that they were wrong and they went back to the conference. Sister White never claimed to be a prophet, she called herself God's messenger. Her visions were not readily accepted as being from God and she was never ordained as a Minister.

The conference of men agreed that the Sabbath was never changed from the Jewish Sabbath by Jesus or the New Testament? And White went along with men's opinion? Yet Jesus broke the Sabbath and said He was the Lord of the Sabbath. The Sabbath was never confirmed in any new testament writings and letters. Never. Jesus or Paul going to a synagogue on Saturday was because that's when the Jews met. If they showed up on the first day, Sunday, no one or a few priests might be there, that's it. So them going on Saturday was not proof that Jesus approved of Saturday sabbath, but rather, an opportunity to preach the gospel to the Jews. Yet the ones who walked with Jesus took collections on the first day of the week, Sunday. Don't you think they would have collected the money on the Sabbath, Saturday, if Jesus had stressed the Saturday Sabbath day? I don't even think that the Sunday Sabbath day has to be observed in that way as far as rest goes. The Sabbath day became more to many Christians than the gospel of Christ. God is not pleased with that. Because Sabbath is rest, spiritually, which affects how we live in this world. That is not only for one day, as the SDAs and so many others insist have to be observed, but it is for all 7 days, all day. It is a spiritual rest. You can gather together for worship any day or days, but Sabbath rest with God is 24/7. That is how God made it. All things are in Christ.

He sabbath is the 7th day to me and not sunday. Nero changed the sabbath to sunday because of the ressurection of Jesus.

@@wendycarty6958 Actually it was Emperer Constantine, not Nero, who changed the Sabbath to Sunday, a pagan holiday for sun worshipers, to make it more acceptable to his empire. Roman Catholicism freely acknowledges this change and confirmed it as the right of their church to do so. Changed by man and justified by man - but not by God. When God commanded us to remember and keep holy the 7th day (4th commandment) as a memorial of Creation and a sign of our loyalty, He meant just that. It's at the heart of His Law and according to Scripture, His law is unchangeable.

You have a problem with EGW's failed prophecies. Palestine was rebuilt and occupied fulfilling Isa. 66:8 and Micah 5:3 to list a few fulfilled prophecies. You can argue that she is a prophetess all day long but we know she failed the test for a prophet countless times. So stop lying to us. She is a false prophetess. The atonement was completed Resurrection Sunday Heb. 9:12. He entered once and for all the HOLY PLACE with HIS own blood placing it on the Mercy seat as HIS testimony was completed. Only a sick antichrist witch would say JESUS didn't finish the Attonment Resurrection Sunday.

Notice all the scriptures for the Sabbath are Old Testament except for one in the Gospels. The Sabbath was not only Saturday Worship. There were many ordinances to follow. Ephesians 2 : 8 and 9 We are saved by grace through faith and not works. Observing the Sabbath does not save anyone now. The Sabbath was made for man and not GOD is what JESUS said.

It is remembrance of the CHRIST Rest Adam lost to sin. SDA use it as obedience to the law aka their works salvation. In reality it restored Israel to a one day of paradise where YHWH provided their meat without the "sweat of thy face". Locked in paradise instead of out. Kindle no fires so HIS Mazzaroth could be read without 10,000 camp fires blazing for HIS plan of salvation to be read in the heavens. What SDA call keeping the sabbath looks nothing like Sabbath Torah law. They actually break sabbath law by kindling the fire in their internal combustion engines and living their gates to meet up with the other holier than thou cult members.

Here a SDA member. I am so happy to belong to this so called cult. We study from the Bible and Ellen G White just provides a wider spectrum to understand. We can never get the credit that it was originally coming from G White. The Bible is the truth and we go by the Bible. We don’t approve of doctrines that are not proven with the Bible. If one is enlightened then prove it with the Bible. I am so sorry for those who have not spent at least one week studying the Bible and claiming to the truth, because then you will be a SDA .

Hello everyone, I am a SDA, and it has always amazed me the most crictics of her are the ones that have never read her writings or just some of it. The SDA that are turning away are the ones that are listening to messages like this and don't read her writings for themselves. All through the Bible, the Lord has always had prophets and messengers, which is what she said she was to lead and guide His people! Check out Moses and what happened in that story. I've actually studied Ellen G. White's writings. And the White Estates have full power to hide her earlier writings. Many who left the SDA church who knew of the earlier writings are now excommunicated from the SDA church and regarded as liars. I've found older works of Ellen G. White. And they do not match the present day editions of today. And we are supposed to disregard the earlier writings because we're told it's just minor spelling errors or fake teachings inserted by other believers who wanted to sabotage her original teachings. As a person who has studied in depth into the teachings of Islam. SDA and Ellen G. white is no different. After studying the SDA church and its history. I do not see a difference from the spirit of Islam. She may have wanted to be genuine in her beliefs same as Muhammad. But they both believed in the angels that spoke to them. Don't disregard my words as ignorant. When I say I've gone in depth. I've gone in depth to the teachings of those religions. And the SDA church is no different. And knowing the White Estates refuses to release all her writings to the public and for all members to fully examine. Her earlier writings and letters were only leaked by former SDA members or older editions floating around in which I've found at antique stores and book stores that sell donated books. It's been made clear. The SDA church does not have the full knowledge of Ellen G. White. And some SDA churches are trying to remove themselves from Ellen G. White secretly because they know how much falsehood she stands for. And to claim the name as the Spirit of Prophecy and the lesser light. She too is taking claims of the Holy Spirit.

I’m a seventh day Adventist.so many of her critics do not know the full truth about Ellen White, She was a cofounder of the church, and never claimed to be a prophet but God’s messenger. Her writings are not doctrinal but messages of warning, rebuke or comfort and uplifting. She was warned that she would be disbelieved and her writings and messages would be rejected by the majority but she was to deliver them whether “ they hear or forbear.” The same Spirit that inspired her is the same Spirit that inspired the writers of the Old and New Testament. She warned that she was just a worm but to criticize the writings of the Holy Spirit is treading on dangerous ground. You have spread falsehood about Ellen White and SDAs. It is evident to me that you do not know truth and should take the Bible as it reads, not as a surface reader but a study of God’s word, comparing Scripture with Scripture. To accuse us of being a cult.is blatant falsehood, I study for myself and the fundamental doctrines are very clear to me. The premise to us is that the Holy Spirit would lead us into all truth. He will never contradict Himself and sincere seekers of. Truth will always find it.

@@loishenderson2348 you may not have heard about prophet Muhammad of Islam. Because he too claims not to be a prophet but only a messenger and a warner. Muhammad came only to confirm Allah is the one true god. Yet from out of Muhammad the Quran, the Hadiths, the 5 pillars of Islam, and Sharia. Also Muhammad was uneducated yet had great great wisdom and knowledge only Allah could have given him. Muhammad also claims not to have created Islam and not to be the first Muslim because Isa (Jesus), his followers, all prophets of the Bible all were Muslims. And the greatest of the 10 commandment was the 1st commandment(You shall have no other gods before me. That mean Allah is one, he has no equal, and you must not make anyone or anything equal to Allah. Why am I talking so much about Islam? Because Muhammad and Ellen G. White runs parallel in their prophet hood with their god/ Allah. Their beginning started the same. They both met an angel or possibly god/Allah when they were alone while in deep prayer searching their faith. I've studied Islam for years, and when my cousin became SDA. I didn't think much of it and thought the SDA church taught sound doctrines of the Bible just as Jesus' disciples(the original apostles), Paul(the apostle), and Jesus' other followers. But when I went a little deeper into the SDA church doctrines and history. I found 1844, a demand to obey the Sabbath, boosting of one's self not being a sinner, convenient visions from god/Allah when questioned, teaching a different Jesus yet claiming it's the same Jesus, misunderstanding of the word of God, claims of the spirit of prophecy/the Holy Spirit, and many more. As a person who once hated God with my very heart, mind, and soul. God broke through to me in the simplest of ways. Just placing a random Bible in front of me at my lowest point in life while contemplating suicide as the end all be all answer. There was no meeting of any angel, no visions, no dreams. Just simply reading the Bible for the convenience of reading it for the old stories I heard. Then as I was reading the Bible, I plot it to world history. And it opened my heart, mind and soul to God. And not even after one year of studying the Bible, I accepted Jesus as my God. And low and behold, along came Islam. My greatest challenge. A religion that rivals that of Christianity and Judaism. And after studying it in depth for at half of my life. SDA church doctrines and histories proves to be one in the same as Islam. They are of the same spirit. That's why I said they run parallel. I don't simply take someone's words for it and look at how happy it makes the followers or believers. I compare them to the Bible and history. If you will not do in depth research yourself. You will never see the uncanny comparison of Islam and SDA. And I know my salvation is in Christ alone because He is my rest, my Sabbath.

Jesus said "I am the door". No thinking person believes he meant he was literally a door! The point is while the Bible is the Word of God, it is also literature, there are parables, there is poetry, there is wisdom, there are metaphors, there is incredible examples of healing too. "I am the Lord that healeth thee". It is such a breathtaking fount of morality and salvation.

YES! I think many would find it interesting and very enlightening if they took the time to understand Hebrew grammar, idioms, how they used parables etc. Our English language has watered down, and in some cases completely twisted, so many wonderful truths. May Yah bless you and be with you ❤️

The 10 Commandments are still valid. I think you should study on this more. The Sabbath was given to man at creation. Not just to the Jews.

Its based on creation but there is zero evidence anyone observed the sabbath before God gave the commandment to Moses. Where there is no law there is no sin says the Apostle Paul. As Christians we follow and are under the New Covenant. @@Pastor_Grant have you considered that... 1. God Himself rested on that day and forever hallowed it to be His day? 2. The 10 commandments are distinct from the larger body of laws known as the Mosaic law which included dietary laws, laws about clothing, etc. So while most of the Mosaic law is superceded by the new covenant by Christ's sacrifice, the Ten Commandments were never abrogated. 3. Seemingly to emphasize their eternal finality, God not only verbally dictated them from the mountain but also wrote them on tablets for Moses. And when Moses destroyed them in anger they had to be reproduced. And then had to be kept inside the ark of God! Remember the spiritual concept of a thing repeated being final with God (Pharaoh's dreams interpretation)? 4. There is none among the 10 commandments which we have reinterpreted like the Sabbath commandment. If laws about idol worship, murder, adultery, honor of parents, etc are all considered inerrant/final and not modifiable based on our interpretations, why should this one command be different? 5. God who divinely orchestrated that time on Earth will be reckoned around the lifetime of Christ (AD / BC) also ensured that Saturday is universally made a non-working day. With all of these it seems to me there's no reason other than going with the crowd to not observe Saturday as the day of rest as God designed it from the creation of the universe. We should obey God in all things for which His word is clear on meaning and application, our contemporary culture/ideas notwithstanding. Yes, Jesus gave more context to help our understanding of the aim of the Sabbath but He never repealed it. Just like He didn't repeal the commandment against adultery when He saved the woman caught in it from being stoned.

Mathew 5, Colossians 2 : 14, Hebrews 8 : 13 JESUS changed the 10 commandments, made them obsolete when He nailed it to the cross.

I am an Orthodox Christian, Greek by origin. I am not a priest and I don't have any official position in the church. I find many of the videos you publish enlighting and thank you for that. I would disagree though about your comment that there is no mention of the Holy Trinity in the Bible. In my humble opinion, there is a very CLEAR and loud mention of the holy triad in the last Chapter of Mathew's Gospel. ver 19. I am able to read it from the original ancient Greek version where it is written that Jesus instructs his disciples to go and teach the nations and baptize them in the name of the Father of the Son and the Holy Ghost! There you go! 🙂

True, it does say that exactly as you quoted. However, it means that there are three individual entities, not three in one. That's how I understand it. There is God the the father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit.

Yep, the Bible verse that you quoted is about baptising the believers in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. But it never says that there are three persons in one God. The Lord Christ and His TRUE Apostles who wrote the books in New Testament believed and preached only one TRUE God, the Father who is a Spirit. The 66 books of the whole Bible which were written by 39 diff people who lived in diff times and in diff places for a period of 1,500 years, mention only ONE TRUE God, the Father. The term "person" (human) alone is blasphemous and an insult to Him who is everlasting with no beginning or end. An omnipotent and omniscient God who created all things. It was only in year 325 A.D/C.E at the Catholic Bishops Council of Nicea when it became their dogma that their Christ was god. Then in year 381 A.D/C.E, at their Council of Constantinople, they made the Holy Spirit as god.

It sounds like you are apostate from the teachings of the founder's of the Watchtower Society. They all said that you should worship Jesus. Even the literature that I got said on the front, 'To promote the worship of God.' 'To promote the worship of Jesus.' Russell taught that we should worship Jesus and the initial Watchtower Charter's specified that establishment of the Watchtower Society was to promote the worship of Jehovah and Jesus. Read the enfancy gospels of Thomas about the life of Yeshua also read the gospel of Thomas. This is literally the only 2 text which have been carbon dated to the time of Yeshua not after like the whole new testament

Pastor Grant, I would take exception to your comments regarding the SDA church. Having been raised a Seventh-day Adventist, I will admit that based on Biblical teachings, Adventists believe that Saturday is the true Sabbath, but we are not forced to do anything. I've read every book, lecture and sermon that Ellen White wrote--I would be interested to hear in which of her writings she EVER made the claim only Adventists who were in the movement by 1844 were the only people who could be saved because I NEVER recall reading that in any of her writings. Additionally, Ellen G. White always corrected church members who placed more meaning in her writings than in the Bible. I was raised that it's good to question the church's teaching and even Ellen G. White herself. I was never forced to stay in the church, my family would never reject me for leaving the church and I was also encouraged to read the Bible above any other religious source of information and pray for guidance and understanding of the Bible from the Holy Spirit. The only thing about the church I ever disagreed with is that like Mormons, we grew up in Adventist communities, attended Adventist Churches and schools and more often than not, worked in Adventist institutions like hospitals or schools. I think that's wrong. It's easy for people to get the wrong impression of a religion if they never get to know someone from that church. I can't speak for every Adventist, but I was encouraged to follow Christ's example--not Ellen White's. I was encouraged to look to the Bible for answers --not her writings. And in all my years of attending church, I was never taught to attack other faiths, believe that they were living a lie, nor was I never informed that other denominations wouldn't be in heaven. Good people are good people. All you can do is pray, study the scriptures and be determined to walk in the light and love of Jesus Christ.

As a Seventh -day Adventist,l neither get offended nor ashamed to believe in the scriptures in the very way they're presented without tilting them in interpretation to suit human tradition.The world needs the truth and not debate nor condemnation of the brother presenting.Humans study and they will discover the truth as long as every committed teacher of the truth does his role in the gospel commission.I thank God l am a Seventh day Adventist.

I want to thank those of you who call the 7th day Adventist church a cult. It was that label that peaked my interest and caused me to look into the interworking of the movement about 9 years ago. After about 6 years of studying Adventism including reading books by Ellen White I joined Adventism 3 years ago, then my wife, mother and Niece joined, my son and daughter have also come to love and appreciate the truth found in this church. We all now enjoy the Sabbath and I thank God and those who call us a cult because I have found the truth!❤

Am sorry but you are a lost soul. You need Jesus to find you. The old Testament said we must keep the sabbath holy, which you guys are proud of it. The question is if you believe in Jesus Christ, what can you say when the saviour Jesus worked on sabbath where He heal aman in john 5? And the jews was angry with him for doing that on sabbath which to his response He said my father until now is still working meaning you must work whether is sartaday or not. And if you don't know that the sabbath was a sigh between the children of Israel and God. And am sure you are not an Israelite. Again in the new Testament in Hebrews it says "if the old Testament had no fault there's was no need for a new Testament" Which means the law was abolished on the cross. And we got a new law remember the sabbath law was given to mosses and we don't follow mosses cz mosses is not our saviour but we follow Jesus and His laws which is to love God, your neighbour's and to keep this laws. So you guys are a lost generation. The sabbath you are busy with it will not take you to Christ cz it was a sigh but the really rest is found in Jesus Christ.

A few points: There have been different people who have greatly impacted or changed beliefs and/or doctrines, i.e. Luther, Wesley, Tindale, Calvin, Smith, Darby (rapture theory and dispensational belief), Scoffield (included Darby's theory & teachings as notes in the Scoffield Bible), Miller (a Baptist preacher, year for a day teaching re: 2300 "days"), Edsen (Jesus moved to inner sanctuary Oct 22, 1844 for Investigative Judgment work), E.G. White, and others. Following the teachings of a person regarding beliefs and faith does not necessarily make it a cult. Can one's Christian faith stand on the Word of God? Is it influenced by teachings of men (or women)? Are those teachings sound biblically? How close to the original scriptures is the version of the bible being used? Re: Sabbath, it was established and demonstrated by Father & Son in creation, sanctified and blessed, given as a commandment on tablets of stone, written with His own finger, twice, placed in the ark of the covenant. When did God authorize or instruct not to observe it? Did Jesus observe it? Malachi 3:6 Who is adopted into Israel? Re: Eternal hell-Malachi 4:1 , John 3:16 . EG White was not the (only) founder of SDA. The founders stemmed from Millerites, the Jehovah's Witnesses stemmed from SDA. The Baptists stemmed from Calvin, Darby, Scoffield and others. There were many doctrines and beliefs that sprouted and took root in the 1800s. The more I study, the more it seems there have been many earnestly seeking a renewed relationship with God, and there are many false teachings. I have yet to find a church, denomination, or group of believers that seem to have everything right. Paul's letters prove that problems existed from the 1st century church, and it exists today. Let us search the scriptures for God's truths, uplift the brethren, pray for each other that we be not haughty, nor judgmental, love without ceasing, and witnesses to the grace of the Father through the blood of His Son, following in His footsteps and His commands.

I agree with a good number of things you said, tho not all. I reviewed the bible references you gave. Thank you. My husband and I have had many discussions about the Lazarus and rich man verses, whether they were fact or parable. In the same chapter are other important verses, Luke 16:9 (everlasting habitations), 13 (cannot serve God and mammon), 15 (God knoweth your hearts), 17 (easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail), 18 (Jesus expanded the commandment on adultery, as he did with hatred is murder in the heart). Matt. 25:41 (everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels), 46 everlasting punishment v. life eternal - if one is punished by being burned up till they have no root or branch (Malachi 4:1), Malachi 4:3 (ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet), isn't that an "eternal" punishment in that they don't receive eternal life? If they are continually burned forever, they would have eternal life... of punishment. But the term "perish" is used in John 3:16 and 10:28. Rev. 20:10 says the devil, beast and false prophet are in the lake of fire, "tormented day and night for ever and ever." Rev. 20:14 death and he'll are cast into the lake of fire. They are NOT the lake of fire. Rev. 20:15 judgment - those not in book of life are then cast into lake of fire. Note, it doesn't say they will be tormented forever as it does for devil, beast and false prophet. Re: Sabbath, having read and studied from Gen. 1:1 - Rev. 22:21, we find that the day of rest was established by God and Jesus in creation. It's not just for the jews. Jesus, the apostles, and Paul all honored it. Nowhere in the scriptures did God instruct to change the day to the 1st of the week. A brilliant pastor, Chuck Misler, found the same, so he and his wife honored the Sabbath. 1 John 5:3 says, "for this the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." Is substituting Sunday for Sabbath acceptable or a rebellion to God? That is something to consider, and for God to judge. Just as we are to try the spirits (1 John 4:1), whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world, so, too, we are told in 1 John 3:24 he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. I personally do not believe EGW was a prophetess, but believe she experienced many partial complex seizures due to her head injury and was misguided by her mother and others around her into thinking they were visions from God. I also believe she was an impressionable teen when they began. Many were reeling from the "Great Disappointment," and trying to figure out what went wrong. Hiram Edsen was one of them, and so was James White. I wonder what influence they may have had on Ellen. By her writings, it seems she thoroughly loved God and Jesus. I have read that White questioned God on eternal torment, as every SDA I have ever talked to brings up. Oh, surely God won't.... Oh, yes SDA, He will. It is written. Nowhere in the Bible, which is confirmed in the new covenant, the NT, does it say that unbelievers will not be tormented forever. It does speak of everlasting fire in Mark 9:43-47, for the disobedient ones. Take the word as it's written and then ask God, want the truth over your preferences, God will then give you His truth. That change happened when I read the Bible cover to cover and found I was taught some false things. God's word is amazing! 1 Thess. 4:17 is considered a major pre-trib rapture verse. When taken in context (the chapter), the Thessalonians were worried that only those living when Jesus returned would be saved. Paul had to write a 2nd letter. 2 Thess. 2 details what will happen before He will return (i.e. man of sin will be revealed). That is also consistent with Rev. Rev. Miller never should have tried to determine a date of Christ's return. "No man knoweth..." Edsen got a thought 10/22/1844 was right date, wrong event. There is no biblical basis for it, nor for trying to take a false prophet's teaching and amending it to proceed on. Sabbath was never done away with. Re: Eternal suffering, other good verses are Matt. 10:28, John 3:16, and Rev. 20:10-15. The fire is eternal. Verse 10 says devil, beast & false shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Judgment happens in Rev. 20, not at death, and those not found in book of life are cast into the lake of fire. Whether they are destroyed (perish-John 3:16) or tormented forever does not change my salvation. I am saved by grace. I certainly would never deserve my way in His presence. It seems that many of us have accepted God's grace through the blood of His Son, are trying our best to follow Him, but that none of us have everything right. God's blessings in your Christian journey as well.

I'm not a catholic but I do know it's far more complex than just confessing. You have to confess your faults, to repent sincerely, to accept your penance with humility and patience, to repair any harm done, and to agree not to repeat your wrong doing. Then, and only then, can you be forgiven.

Quite frankly, I am astounded by all the Ellen White stuff, Sunday law nonsense, Investigative Judgement etc. There is so much scripture that goes against Ellen White it isn't even funny, how she can be your "Spirit of Prophecy" is just plain sad. Contemporary Charismatics at least have a real actual, "Spirit of Prophecy" often in their congregations, and also with substantially less heresy than you guys with all your "Present Truth", "Light" etc.

Thank you for sharing this video! I was born into the SDA church and my family has been in it for generations. I have recently come to research the history and doctrines of the church, and while I know a lot of adventists have been trying to separate themselves from EGW, she is so deeply intertwined in the sabbath school lessons and bible studies it’s almost impossible to completely remove her work. Everything you said about SDA is true! I lived it! I believe I was raised in historical Adventism that strictly follows EGW. I can’t tell you how much terror I felt growing up in this church constantly wondering if I was saved and spent so much time trying to “pray out the devil/bad thoughts” and trying to be saved through sinless perfection. In my experience, if one questions their church or sabbath school leaders about a passage in the Bible that conflicts with their teachings, they gaslight you saying things like, “it’s all in your mind” or “you have the devil in your mind” or “you don’t really believe in God”. I have felt so much pain, fear, and trauma just by being a devout follower. And I mean - DEVOUT FOLLOWER. I remember when I was a little kid, a toddler, I was in Sabbath school. My SDA sabbath school teacher was teaching about the investigative judgement, but didn’t call it that. I only knew later when I really started researching. She told me about how we are all evil and needed Jesus to save us which is why we need to be like Jesus and never sin. The books were closing and they didn’t know when they were closing or if they already had. But the only way I would be saved was to do everything they told me to do and abstain from evil acts like going to see a movie or listening to bad music or hurting people. Hurting people I understand, I wouldn’t even try to hurt someone as a toddler. BUT if I didn’t obey, and God sees everything, I would be left behind and be burned alive for however long God felt was enough to punish me for my sins. Then she told me to imagine how sad my mother would be and how much she would cry if I didn’t make it, but she would know what I did wrong when she searched for my name in the books of judgement. I WAS A LITTLE KID! However, this was a common thread in my Bible lessons growing up. I have many stories just like this one. I know and have met many, many caring people in the SDA church. I do believe there are good Christians in the church. However it is the church and it’s gaslighting, shunning, false testimony, guilt tripping, and terrorizing into obedience that I believe is wrong. I know many people probably have had experiences very different to mine and I hope everyone can come to see God’s love and realize that we are saved by His grace and faith in Him. An interesting thing that I have been learning in my research: these four cults seemed to have all formed out of the Second Adventists which were formed out of those who still believe in Miller’s prophecy after the Great Disappointment and the millerite movement. They each have their own prophet and they each believe they are the one and only remnant church. This is interesting to me because in revelation it talks about how the remnant will be made of people from all over the world, not necessarily a denominational church, but a metaphorical church composed of all those who believe in God. Theoretically, the remnant could be made of people from different denominations. These two books: “It’s okay to NOT be an Adventist” by Teresa Beam and “Sabbath in Christ” by Dale Ratzlaff have been a great help to me in discovering the truth. Also, the KZread channel: Answering Adventism provides a very detailed explanation of how EGW’s writings and the doctrine of the SDA church is false.

Unfortunately, even if they thought they could remove Ellen White, the foundation was built upon her and the investigative judgment to make people believe that the 1844 date was correct but the event wrong. This foundational false belief cannot stand without Ellen White and her writings that came afterwards.

Thank your for sharing your experience. I went through a journey of researching what the SDA church believes and teaches and their history. I also looked into many other churches and denominations, including the ones he lists here. I am now a Seventh-Day Adventist pastor. I want to apologize for the things you experienced. What you experienced and taught was sadly not what the Bible teaches and sadly not what the official position of the SDA church teaches. Those people were confused and misinformed. I have even read much of Dale Ratliff's material. He too has misunderstood things and takes things out of context. I researched what he was saying that the SDA church actually believes by looking up not only the teachings but also the quotes he uses. And he takes many of them out of context and misrepresents what they are actually saying. What this pastor shares in his video about the history of the SDA church is NOT accurate at all. Not one single doctrine of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church originated from Ellen White. I know because I researched that particular topic for myself. I later took a class that verified this. We were shown historical documents of when the doctrines were first written about and how they came about. Ellen White was not in that process. It was by a group of people. Even the Investigative Judgment. Speaking of the IJ. Sadly many of the Adventist people have misunderstood this subject. The good news about the investigative judgment, is that Jesus is our Advocate or representative or attorney in the judgment. He is also our judge. Furthermore, He is our substitute. So He stands in our place when we accept the gift He has given to us. What could be better than Jesus being our Attorney, our Judge, and our Substitute. Not just one but all three. We do nothing contribute. This is what the Bible teaches about the IJ. And there is actually a lot to say about this topic in the Bible. Where do we think that our legal system got the idea to investigate before judging? It's not about investigating our works like your Sabbath School teacher told you. And I have heard it before. I try to correct people when that happens. The IJ is about looking to see if we have surrendered to Jesus. God doesn't need to examine anything. He already knows. But God allows "the books" to be opened, as mentioned in Daniel 7 and Rev 20 (different from the book of life), for everyone to see that His way is just and righteous and pure. Lucifer accused God in the beginning of not being those things. So God allows everyone to see for themselves that He is not what satan says. He didn't have to do that, but if He would have killed Lucifer in the beginning and demanded blind obedience without questions then there would still have been doubt there that Lucifer created. Of course when the books are examined everyone will see that God is exactly what He claims to be, just, righteous, pure, Holy, long suffering, merciful, abounding in goodness and truth. The SDA church does not follow Ellen White. She did not start the SDA church. It was a group of people. She was one of them yes. It is not a requirement of the SDA church to believe that Ellen White is a prophet. And there are several movements that came into existence around the same time period. I think you referred to it as the Second Adventist movement but what I think you meant to say is the Second Great Awakening. The Mormon church was in the 1830's, JW in the 1870's, Christian Scientists in 1879. Pentecostalism roots can be traced to the early 1840's, Darwin wrote Origin of the Species in 1839 but wasn't published until 1859. Karl Marx wrote his communist manifesto in 1847, published in 1848. The Baha'i faith claims their first convert in 1844. Dispensationalism started in the mid 1800's as well. This of course includes the SDA church which officially organized in 1863 but traces back to the Great Disappointment of 1844. I wonder what reason there would be for all of these different religious movements starting around the same time. These are some pretty extreme movements and very different an opposing beliefs. More religious movements started in the 1800's than any other time in history. I wonder why so many counterfeits started at the same time. For there to be a counterfeit there has to be a true or real one.

The Seventh day Advantest church was not started by Ellen G. White. The Sabbath is not Jewish, Adam and Eve were not Jewish. The sabbath was instituted at creation.

The Adventist Church was not started by White. But Miller and White started an offshoot in the church that became the SDA Church. Might have been someone else involved. But White became the primary voice...for the new religion. God did not have anything to do with their formation.

None of your fabulous life acknowledges that your beliefs are far different than what is taught in God's Holy Word. If you read an unbiased history of Joseph Smith, you will realize he was just one of many charlatans, and not a very smart one. Likely an associate (Cowdry) wrote the book, because Joseph was almost illiterate. Neighbors described Joseph and his father as "dreamers and sloths, always digging for treasure in the NY hills." I suppose witchcraft brings many people peace and understanding also (according to them). You DO know that Native Americans have NO DNA connection to Israelites? Many other faux pas by Smith are evident in The (fake) Book of Abraham, where he says Native Americans had cattle and horses and various plants that were NOWHERE in the New World. It's the 10 commandments are your problem. They do not apply to gentiles. They were for jews only. Ot superseded by the nt. Gentiles are saved by grace and grace alone through faith. Not of works lest anyone boast. Salvation is by jesus christ only.

That's a very popular misquote of that scripture. Look it up in the KJV and read it word for word. The words, "... and to be present with the Lord," shows that the "and" is a conjunction between what is prior to, _and after,_ the "and". The former does not equal the latter, as Paul was simply expressing his desire to be with the Lord.

When people ask me whether a certain religion is cult, I only need to ask them a question to give them an answer: Do you believe that Jesus Christ is God, uncreated and eternally existing from ages to ages before time and creation itself. And that the person of Jesus (or the Logos) is eternally one in essence with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. If the answer is a "yes", I'm usually happy to say that this religious group is not a cult. That is not to say that they do not subscribe to other heresies or incorrect Christian doctrine though...

@@Pastor_Grant Do you know that SDA people are some of the longest living people on earth because they follow the guide by EGW. They don’t worship her, but use her teachings to guide them which is backed by scripture. SDA is one of the purest religions out there. Ever wonder why Sunday is considered the 7th day when it is clearly the first day of the week in the calendar until this day but we were brainwashed to believe that it’s the 7th day. Sunday law will happen and it’s all after worship which will force everyone to worship on Sunday or else face persecution. That’s because the true sabbath is being suppressed.

Spot on!🙏. I am a Christian missionary and soul winner. I found that it's easier to lead someone to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, if they have never heard anything from the Bible, than it is if they previously heard these false Bible doctrines from these false religions.🙏

Have you ever noticed that your false gospel always refers to "faith alone," "grace alone," and "Bible alone?" Do you realize that those concepts contradict themselves? If you actually studied the Bible you would know that all three concepts ARE NOT BIBLICAL! YOU CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE! It's just part of Martin's Mantra that Evangelicals have mindlessly copied and parroted for centuries. No matter how many times you say it, it isn't going to make it true or Biblical.

You do realize there are over 2500 religions currently existing upon this earth? If religion had ANY truth or merit to it at all, there wouldn't be so many. I've been exposed and once participated in about 20 of them before settling into the educated astronomer and atheist I am today. There are over 400 billion stars in our home galaxy, the Milky Way. The Hubble 'Deep Field' photos of the late 90's revealed there are over two trillion galaxies....do you actually believe we are the ONLY intelligent life within all of this vast real estate?

One of the facts about each of these churches/cults/programs that I would have liked to be highlighted is that each one has their own separate "PROPHET" and each one has their own seperate special BOOK, which "clarifies" /"corrects" (insert your verb of choice here) all the "mistakes" of the mainline Bible.

Thank you for this video. I cannot speak for the first 3 cults, but I was raised going to a Christian Science Church (CS), and I think you are spot on. I became a Christian in 2001 (at age 26 thanks to a friend that never gave up on me), and never looked back. People, particularly my wife would ask me about CS, and I would never feel comfortable responding because it seemed so backwards to me now that I could not explain it. So now, I shared this with my wife and told her that you have pretty much summed up CS. These cults all seem like a religious game of two truths and a lie. In the case of CS, they believe in the resurrection, the healing power of Christ.... but sin and death are figment of your imagination. I have heard it said that The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world that he did not exist.

The seventh day Adventist church believes in the Bible both the new testament and the old testament , The people believe that Ellen G White's teachings are a lesser light which help the church understand the greater light , ie the BIBLE Even if you go to investigate their beliefs , you can't help but see that they were derived from the Bible

The rich man also conscious knew where he was and why he was in torment. JESUS said to the thief on the cross "verily, I say to you TODAY thou shall be with me in Paradice". Ellen makes CHRIST a liar to the thief on the cross. She says no, you must soul sleep "annihilated" 1813+ years to have your life investigated for spot or blemish to be found worthy of HIS grace and mercy. This is a false Gospel and EGW is accursed. 1st Pet. 3:18:19 says CHRIST was quickened in spirit then desended to Abrahams bosom to teach the spirits in the heart of the earth. Who is the LIAR?
