In the end nobody really knows who is truly saved because we don't know people's motives/hearts....only God. One day Jesus will say to many "I never knew you" but deep in my heart I know nobody can snatch me out of His hand because of what He did, not because of who i am. I will always remember the day I was born again.

"What a wretched man I am" said Paul about the battle between the Spirit and the flesh. As long as we justify our sin (being single, trauma, bad marriage, depression...etc) we will never have victory and carry the heavy burden of guilt inside which is exhausting. Its war until our last day on earth but we need to be transparent with the Lord about our desire to be free from it.

In reading the comments below it seems the majority of those opposed with what the speaker is saying have a fundamental misunderstanding of the word “fulfill”. If you simply Google the definition of “fulfill” you will find… Fulfill (verb) - to bring to completion What Christ is saying is that he can’t just abolish the law. The law was part of a binding covenant between God and His people. He can however fulfill all of the terms of that covenant on our behalf. And once the terms of a covenant are fulfilled, that covenant is complete and no longer in effect. (Picture a mortgage covenant between you and your bank). Why did Christ do this? Because that was God’s plan all along. It was always God’s plan that the old covenant would be temporary and that through Christ He would replace it with a better one. Hebrews 8:7-13 captures this when it quotes a prophesy from Jerimiah: For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. 8 But God found fault with the people and said: “The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. 9 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord. 10 This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 11 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. 12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” - 13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear. No longer are our lives guided by a set of “rules” established by the Old Covenant but rather through a “relationship” with God through the infusion of his Holy Spirit. In light of this, the bible actually gives us a powerful analogy for those who continue to remain under the old covenant in light of the new. “It is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman (Hagar) and the other by the free woman (Sarah). His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise. These things are being taken figuratively: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are destined for slavery: This is Hagar…. But the Jerusalem that is above is free (Sarah), and she is our mother. At that time the son born according to the flesh persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. And it is the same now. But what does Scripture say? “ 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐧.” - Gal 4:21-31

It's not the "unforgivable" sin! It's the "unforgiven" sin. The body dies...when it does; forgiveness is no longer needed for the body. It gets buried and decays to nothing So this was a play on the ignorance of the Pharisees. The sad thing is; most Christians are ignorant to this. There is no "unforgivable " sin ..the Bible never calls this sin "unforgivable"; the Bible calls it "unforgiven"....so the best way to approach this non-sense; believed by most Christians is: Stop being stupid!!

I looked up Genesis 6 and Job 1:6/Job 38:7 in the Greek Septuagint and the words for “sons of God” are different in Genesis and in Job. In Genesis the “sons of God” in Greek is: οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ θεοῦ And in English in the Septuagint it says, “sons of God” in the verse. In job the Greek words used are: ἄγγελοι τοῦ θεοῦ And in English in the Septuagint it says,” angels of God” in the verse. Does anyone know why the Greek words are different in each book and why the English version says two different things? I personally don’t think Genesis 6 is referring to angels but I’m just trying to figure this out. Because in the Hebrew both Genesis and Job say angels of God. I’m trying to understand what the better translation is, the Septuagint or the masoretic text. Please help

First the word is wife NOT women ! One, the primary verb is the verse above, verse 11, that says "a wife must learn." That's the primary imperative verb of the passage. A wife learn. And that's fairly revolutionary language in a culture where women were either not allowed to be educated or only be educated for so long. Secondly, Paul says, "I do not allow a wife." and that is a present active indicative Greek verb that could be translated "I am not currently permitting a wife to teach her to have authority." Therefore, it's not a for-all-time command. Paul had Greek grammar available to him to say that, but rather a time-limited command about a woman who is learning should not be currently teaching or assuming authority. Contextually, this makes sense. Paul is writing to Timothy, who is pastoring in Ephesus. Ephesus has the Temple of Artemis in it, and the Temple of Artemis kind of empowered a she-woman-man-hating club, and so it's possible that there were women coming into the church, receiving education, and trying to usurp authority over everyone. What this passage is not doing is it giving a "for all time all places" command that women should not teach because that would contradict the rest of Paul's ministry and the New Testament.

Reading the books of the New Testament, we probably asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years? The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist. Find *"The Mystery about the Church of Christ"* video on KZread. The video reveals the prophecy of the disappearance and reappearance of the Church of Christ before the End of the World. But we do have to pay for our sins, even though we repent and Jesus washed away our sins. He still punishes us. Weather in sickness, pain etc. We sin we pay the price. But all forgiven. So we can still go to heaven. Even though our sins are forgiven does not mean we don’t pay a huge price for our sins. I’m I wrong on this?

Interesting way of giving an expression that is clearly not in the Bible. If Jesus were merely God in human form then how could he die? Can God die, and if he did die who resurrected him, unless he was not fully God as you say he was, and if he was fully God he could not partially die. Rather you are propagating a theology that has its roots in Grecian and Egyptian culture, not the Bible. Interestingly in the course of your talk you never once quote the scriptures but you spoke from your understanding, and not from God, where as Jesus spoke from God and quoted the scriptures extensively.

To all those saying that there is no biblical bases for large gatherings please read Acts 5:12-16 Solomon's colonnade was actually a building on the side of the Temple of Solomon, which they also called the gentile court which could fit 7500 people at full capacity, they had mega services in a mega way, the church was a 5000 member church (please read Acts 4:4) and still growing rapidly Acts 6:7. Lastly how did they know the numbers of people in the church? they were actually recording church attendance numbers....... 'The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade. No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed. ' Acts 5:12-16 'But many who heard the message believed; so the number of men who believed grew to about five thousand. ' Acts 4:4 'So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith. ' Acts 6:7

I feel like the scripture told you that if you’ve reached a point in giving where you’ve gotten an onset feeling that the wealth you’ve stored is under any sort of threat, you should go back and read it again. I feel like your answer is the best a good person is going to give, especially one in such a precarious position, in an even more precarious environment. That these things are precarious with wealth being the topic, well I think it shows we may need to read it again.

Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I was wondering if you guys can help me out. I was asked the other day why Protestants do not include the Apocrypha in our Bible. I heard a couple people say “the Jews do not accept it so we shouldn’t” and “it goes against what the rest of the Bible teaches.” I still don’t know why we don’t include the apocrypha if it’s included in the Septuagint text and that was what Jesus apparently read. It seems like if Jesus saw this text and it was not suppose to be with the rest of scripture, he would have said that. Thanks for any help. This question really got me and I don’t know how to answer it.

I know this is also not a perfect analogy, but when God says let Us make man in Our image, he made an analogy for us. I have a mind, I have a body and I have an eternal soul... due to my fallen nature, I know I am an imperfect image of God, as my members are often in discord, but I have three distinct parts and I am one unity. My body (except for my fallen deviance), does not act without the direction of my mind. My soul communes with my body and my mind, I feel like this analogy leans a little towards modalism, but I feel it is better than the 3 people analogy in that each of my parts is distinct yet unified in my person. I also feel it has the advantage in that we can see a reflection of each part of the trinity and their roles, my mind governs and makes judgement and direction, my body is the physical manifestation of my person that others can observe, and my soul is not bound to my physical presence beyond the limits God has placed on it for this time.
