Fun fact. The 1957 Chevrolet was nick named "The Black Widow" as it dominated in the 1957 season and it was banned shortly there after. It used fuel injection (instead of a carburetor), which was revolutionary at the time and thanks to it the Black Widow was by far the fastest in the Strictly Stock Division that year. Fuel injection replaced carburetors only in 2012

12:37 Many years ago, my father took me to an old race shop in Mooresville. This car was being stored there, and in 2009 it had really seen better days. The lady that was running the shop saw 9 year old me standing near Davey's car and said "Don't touch it, that's the original dust." 😂
24:05 when you and the bois are in creative and you say "come look what I made."
24:20 i was at the hall but couldn’t get a ticket. I wanted to see that car so bad
i checked the Hall off my bucket list back in April and it was a ton of fun, especially since it was only like a 2 hour drive. i got the highest level package, which had an audio tour, a free meal and $10 off in the gift shop, as well as unlimited access to the iRacing sim. for about $50, it was definitely worth every penny and every second
27:41 that’s a pretty good pit stop if I say myself
Congratulations to Test Dummy2 for that dub! 🔥🔥
Very cool! I really need to get there someday. I have been to the Petty museum, and that was an awesome experience.
Hey Eric at 11:25 you mentioned trunk numbers. They were mandatory until 1973. That was also the year that cubic inch markings on the hood became optional.
Thanks for the visit. I wish we could have stayed longer as well.
15:25 Wait Rick Hendrick's name is Joseph 😅, Never knew that...

Anyone else notice that the Confetti on Hamlin 500 win landed in a v shape in red and blue like the Valvoline
28:04 That Aric Almirola Simulator is the one I raced in when I went there in 2019. The simulators have changed a lot.
I remember going on Field Trips here back in middle school. Hoping to go again soon to see all the new stuff

You're correct Austin. I work here, and he's the first ever driver to pick the selection of cars, and their orders. These are his/Sr favorite all time races and wins!!
I was there about 4 months ago and they still changed somethings! I love that they change it every now and then and make every visit different
Love that 24 car. Thanks for showin' this place . It is awesome !

Thanks for the tour !! For those of us that can’t afford to go lol
I definitely have to make a trip to the Nascar Hall Of Fame!
Thank you iv wanted to go visit the HOF but never made it but now I can say I know what it looks like. Thank you again race fan since the 70s.
I love them white rims on Dale's blue car
That Mtn Dew Darrel Waltrip car is one of my favorites. When I raced Bandoleros we painted my car just like it and even won the track championship that year.
Glory Road looks amazing. If I ever visit Charlotte, I’m going to this place.

Just added to the exhibit a few months ago!!
I went to the Hall in April of 2018 and they had Dale Jr's Homestead car there instead of Jimmie's but they've relocated it since.
I've never been there, I actually want to visit there one day, plus I like how the cars look
Love the Hall of Fame. Went there again with the family a few months ago. It never fails to amaze me.
Thank you for sharing this!
I always and I mean always love & look forward to these videos/Vlogs.
In 2014, the hauler (if it’s the same one) was an ex-Jimmie Johnson hauler. I asked how they put it in the museum. I was told they picked it up with a crane, then built the museum around it. 🤯
It’s so great to see you back there!👍👍👍
Great job Eric of showing us the Hall of Fame. Loved your play by play!
REALLY COOL FUN TOUR. Thanks
Thanks for the tour bud...really nice!
I was just there last Saturday My dad and I loved it. We are BIG nascar fans
That blue Petty car is also signed by Dale Inman on the passenger door in the cockpit
Thanks for the tour Eric! Hope to make it there one day!!!
I was able to visit the HOF in 2014. I highly recommend this to anyone who is a NASCAR fan, very very well done. Thank you Eric, for the update. 🇺🇸🏁🏆
I went there 2 years ago with my automotive class, and my favorite part was the indoor racecar simulators, and the fast pitstop area...
Great video Eric! Thanks.
I live literally 2 hours from there and never been there lol idk why but it's some thing ima get to for sure, and we all know if it wasn't for the chase and playoff system Gordon would be a 7 time champion

Id love to go there
Cool hope you enjoyed your experience there wish to there someday
17:58 now I wanna see you talk to Larson in person
You're a hard working dude. Thanks and keep it up. 👍🏁
Solid tour. Going there is a dream of mine.
glory road also get progressively higher banked as you go back in time and you can go up onto the banking in one section where its as steep as the super speedways so you can feel the angle that the cars drive on in the turns. Pretty cool stuff
Great videos Eric, keep em comin! As an SHR fan, this season has been miserable, but I enjoy your videos cause they keep me informed. Eric is a future broadcaster lol Take notice Fox/NBC
I went on the coke 600 weekend this year and had a whole weekend experience and got to see the first full capacity race since covid on Memorial Day weekend. It was an amazing weekend
Very entertained thanks!
I completly agree on Cup Champ Trophy with you. I hope they never change it. Love your work. Keep it up! Be safe.
Awesome job on the tour
Awesome tour Eric
Thanks!! That was fun 🏁🏁😊
AYO I just went to this on Saturday!!!! It was AWESOME!!
I really can't wait to eventually be able to fly over and visit the HOF, looks absolutely incredible.
Wow that is really awesome and amazing I love it so very nice place to go to see every car and Driver!!!!
2002 Stewart Championship car is probably my favorite car there. And Pearsons blue/gold ford
I was there when you were in 2019. I wish I could go again to see the new Johnson display there.
Amazing!
I'd love to go someday
Lol the full containment seat in bill Elliots car kind of kills it somebody must have run it in vintage class somewhere
its really cool, because I was actually there a few weeks ago!!!
Davey Allison had the best paint scheme of all time!
i love the classic kulwicki paint scheme
Eric, The cars actually used to go a lot further back. That second set of stairs was to show the embankment level for Daytona. The hauler that you walked through used to be Jimmie Johnson themed with his car on the lift.
I was just there the other day
Hi Eric..... Love the video😃😃 The location you were located in with the Decades of Champions is called Great Hall. You were standing on the compass that shows how far a few tracks are from the Hall. On the wall inside Hall of Honors is called Spirals.... Those are the classes from each decade as well. Inside NASCAR has changed as well. 4 of the Simulator cars have changed.👇 Aric Amorola was Keseloeski Matty D was Kyle's car Denny Hemlin was Truex And Kenseth was Harvick I can't remember who else was there😁😁 but Chase is the only car that hasn't changed!! This is an amazing video🤩🤩
The fact Dales last championship comes on my birth year makes me feel some kind of way. And I’m not sure what that feeling is
Wow that is amazing
Love this!
The grandfather clock as absolutely huge in person, seen in it at Brads 2019 stp 500 win awesome race
Awesome video fun looks cool
Just a small naming correction, in Charlotte they don’t refer to it as downtown, but rather uptown. I know, weird. I’ve lived just outside Charlotte since 2019 and have noticed some other NC cities go with that naming as well. Anywho, NASCAR HOF is definitely a great place to visit!
I remember going there years ago and when we were going to leave chocolate Myers came out of the room where NASCAR Radio goes on
12:43….Hoosier tires! Anyone else remember the tire wars?
Intresting that Bill Elliotts car on glory road has Hoosier tires
The HOF was originally supposed to be located in Concord next to the racetrack On part of the hundreds of acres of they own Was told by a good source The politicans got involved and decided to move it downtown and jam it into a tight spot. No room to expand or park
A kurt busch championship car would be nice in display considering they got all the other championship cars
When we went for the Bristol dirt race we stopped at Charlotte for the hall of fame we went to the hotel across the street from the hall of fame it was amazing
Instead of having a floorplate saying "2065 miles to Riverside Raceway", it should say "2065 miles to a Holiday Inn Express and a Popeye's Chicken Restaurant" since that's basically what's there now.
This This Brings back memories - Double E 2021

If you get the chance, check out the IMS museum! I know you’re not a big IndyCar guy, but it’s just as good as the HoF. Plus you can see the Borg-Warner!
That was way way cool. Thank you Eric. \
