I totally agree, they should make a legend pack for like 10 bucks, Wallace, Petty, Earnhardt Sr, Gordon Even guys like Kenseth, Biffle, Kahne, Edwards etc. That would be dope

Can I just say, it was so cool watching you and Natalie walking through my city streets! I loved the hall of fame the few times I've been and it's definitely a must see for anyone who wants to learn more about the sport's heritage. Hope you guys enjoyed Charlotte (maybe a future home for out of the groove?) and safe travels to Bristol!

Anyone wanting to go to their First Cup race.. Should go to the Charlotte 600 and before or after go to the Hall of Fame and also go to a couple of race shops that are within 30 miles.

Man I absolutely love your excitement and passion in this video it's honestly so awesome to see.

I was only able to attend one race,but what an exciting one it was! My good friend & I were big #21 Pearson fans. We drove from IN up to MI in '76,watched him dominate the race & win it! That Boss 429 had sound all of it's own! It was such a thrill to see him come down the front stretch & throw his hand up & wave at us,every few laps! A memory I'll treasure the rest of my life! RIP to one of the greatest stock car drivers of all time & now unfortunately RIP to 2 of the great car owners,The Wood Brothers!❤ I never got the chance to go to that great museum, but thanks to you I got to see some of it! Loved the #28 & #7,too! It's such a shame Alan didn't get to enjoy his championship longer than he did. Davey definitely would of been one,had he not been taken at such a young age! Until I watched that documentary about him,I never realized his vital organs prolonged the lives of those 4 people!❤

Whoa, they changed a lot since I’ve been there in 2017 and 2014. When I was 8 I won one of the simulator races, no joke.

When I did the simulator, I won 5 out of 7 races at texas

When I did it, I raced a guy by the name of “Weatherman” in two races at Michigan and beat him both times straight up, the whole staff thought I was Jesus😂

My dad built the closest finish Ricky Craven car. I love that car being in the Hall because of how much history it has for my family alone

I’ve been there three times including this week, and that place is amazing. And I suck at the racing sim

Dale Jr involved in plane crash, hes ok but still, very scary

Me and my son went there this past March. It was AMAZING!! We were there all day and could’ve been there for another day!! You’re gonna love it!!

I’ve been there twice in my life! First time I went was in 2011! 2017 would mark the first time in six years that I would return to the NASCAR Hall of Fame to honor the release of Cars 3.

Grew up and spent most of my life in Mooresville NC. Nascar is something i grew up around and now realizing how much stuff i took for granted considering people like you. Got to drink with and tour Ron Hornidays house after he saw us kids next door having a good time he invited us over. Got to go inside the old DEI and sit in all of Jrs old cars that they have closed off to the public and even remember running into Dale Sr. when he was still around. Cool experiences and glad to see there's still people like you out there that respect the sport.

Conner Grindstaff right I was there when they was at Richmond and apparently I set the fastest time for Richmond since they installed them wasn’t to hard since I already have a simulator at my house

Love the NASCAR Hall of fame and how they are always changing things around by bringing in new things. I think I got to check it out in the summer of 2014 or 2015 and if I could i would go ever year.

Haven’t gone but I really want to

I went there for the first time a few months ago when I was in Charlotte for the All Star Race. It’s an amazing experience and I’m glad that you were able to visit it. Hope you enjoyed it there!

I went 4 years ago, but I have to go back, there’s so many more iconic cars and trophies then there were when I went, I’m a huge jr fan so I have to see his actual final ride. Jeff’s final win and Harvicks 500 car are must sees too for me. Also the Hendrick shop is only a couple miles from the hall of fame, there are more trophies there, New and old, as well as viewing areas for all the Hendrick paint schemes for the upcoming race. Plus that’s where Jr’s 500 car from 2014 is located, as well as other iconic Hendrick cars

When thinking of the comment about the contingency decals it shows how many companies, especially automotive, used to invest in the sport 15-25 years ago.

I love the naration and enthusiasm, I need to go to the Nascar HOF, I did Indy and it was great!

Go to the 95 shop, they gave me a tour around the building. It was pretty cool so be sure to check it out!

Went there last year and I actually entered and exited that "sit in the car" thing THROUGH THE WINDOW.

Hi Eric!! I'm glad you and your girlfriend enjoyed yourself at the Hall. I am am employee there, and it's like Disney World for NASCAR!! I see that you all were there during our renovation, so you all HAVE to come back!!! You'll be SUPER EXCITED to see all the new enhancements to the Hall. We have the touch screens on Glory Road now so you can take a 360 tour inside ANY of the cars on Glory Road😊😊 Also on the 3rd floor where the Sims are located.... It is now called INSIDE NASCAR!! We have the Anatomy of a Stock Car, and you can see how the car is built! And in the back of the Hall where that car was for Inspection is now a hands on touch screen tours of ALL THE TRACKS in the world!! Trust me.... If you think it was cool before....wait until you all see it again!! Glad you all enjoyed yourself, and we hope to see you both again😊😊😊😊

0:00 is exactly how I felt when I walked into the NASCAR Hall of Fame for the first time. It's such a badass place. You can see it in videos but you really have to go to take everything in. Glad you were able to check it out on your way to Bristol!

Thank you for this. Some comments: Wish you would have shown the Orange Coupe up close. Modifieds were NASCAR's first division in 1948. Many of it's top drivers became the first stars of Pure Stock late models in their 1949 innaugural season. Red Byron was first champion of both. The interior of Richard Petty's 1964 car is the way it was done then. Though they each year were evolving away from pure stock, the cars still had their "ties" to the production car world. That included things like roll up windows, ignition keys and gas caps. Most people don't know that Roger Penske as a driver won a NASCAR West race at Riverside. Their western division in those days ran the same rules, including engine size, of what was then called Grand National. And it does my heart good to see Lightning McQueen. I knew the late, celebrated automotive cartoonist Dave Deal who did the cars for Pixar. He would have been tickled to see that. Thanks again.

I can tell you right now that Dale Earnhardt Monte Carlo was not from 1987. He didn't drive for Goodwrech till 1988. That's either 1988 or 1989. Probably 1988.

RolandJovi 24 your correct no goodwrench until 88 and that has to be from 88 bc it’s a Monte Carlo & in 89 they switched to the Lumina.

@@j.7584 1989 they ran the Monte Carlo for certain races. I know for sure the Daytona 500. Maybe thats it. I knew they changed to the Lumia in 1989 but i wasn't sure when exactly. Whoever the curator(s) is for the Hall needs another history lesson. That's common knowledge that he had Wrangler for his fantastic 1987 season.

After watching this vid i went to nc and went here. Great time came to watch again for the memories

great video, need to see the Hall next time im in Charlotte ... , i got to Charlotte not to long ago and toured Hendrick, Stewart Haas and Penske.... DEI was closed on the day i went but i drove right by it to get to Penske :(

I lived in Charlotte 10 years last time I was at the hall of fame was 2015 they changed up a lot of the cars on the glory road. Changed up the gift shop too. I Remember they had an engine dyno and everytime it was started up you could hear it in the gear shop

About a month and a half ago I said I was planning a trip to go to the Coke 600 with my wife and go to the Hall as well. Well, about a week after posting that, we decided to drive up there and visit! It was awesome, and there was some stuff we missed! We’re already planning another trip!

Went to the NASCAR hall of fame back in 2011, defiantly need to go back and see the newer stuff they put in

Me my brother and buddy were there on induction announcement day in 2016. Got there when they opened and first shot on the simulator we went 123 and stayed there all day.

i went there on thursday and i frickin loved it.

I was there a few years ago. Being a Petty fan I got lucky they had Richard, Kyle, Lee and Adams car on display. Had a good time. Everybody should go at least once, its worth the money. I liked the 64 Petty Plymouth to, beautiful car.

So cool, I need to get there someday. I did get to see the Petty Museum, which was heaven for this Petty fan!

Not only was that a Race Win 1987 Dale car, but it was the first car to win on Radial Tires. LEGENDARY

Can't wait till the Bristol Vlog!

I attended the induction ceremony in 2019 and went to the HOF the next day. I pretty much had the same reaction Eric did to seeing all of the cars in the Hall of Honor (especially Jeff's!). Going to the HOF is a must for all NASCAR fans and, while you're in Charlotte, make sure to hit up the race shops.

So, Smirnoff Ice was the sponsor that was blurred out of NASCAR 2005. Been wondering. Thanks for showing that close up shot.

I was there in April and they didnt hv any of the rcr cars on the floor. U beat my pit stop time by 2 seconds

Its a temporary one, they use that space as a revolving exhibit as well as a place for unveils. I saw Matts Tide car get unveiled there got his, Joe Gibbs, and Ricky Rudd's autograph.
