You can tell Abigail Carroll is really passionate about oysters and her farm in Maine. Her passion and hard work is inspiring and can clearly be felt when she's talking about the product she makes. These are the kind of businesses I love seeing!! Thanks for sharing, Eater.

I like it how Katie instead of standing there and talking about what their doing, she actually does it, she gets involved, she’s not afraid of work/ to try new things.

I had Abigail pearls at Roberts Maine grill. Last year on my trip to Maine. It was the first time my husband and I had oysters and we loved them!
Thanks for the information. I've learnt something new from this video.

Tell me, how do you deal with pollutants running into the harbour from drains and ships etc?
Looking at the water im thinking it's about -5c or 23f ish. tops and you need 4 layers and can't feel your feet? I'm thinking you choose all the wrong fabrics in the layers.
One thing for sure ..Oysters don't care about geometry

Nothing really, they get their food from the river. They eat plankton, phytoplankton, zooplankton and small debris of animals or algae.

You don't have "Belon" oysters since you are clearly not in Belon. You have the same species, Ostrea edulis.
