The man has a huge chip on his shoulder , after watching his first rogan pod cast it's clear he likes to punish himself because of the way he used to act and the way he grew up , also he took himself to near death just to complete 100 miles on a track how clever is that ? And to make things worse he joined the seal teams and they got pissed off at him because he was not bieng a team player he was trying to outdo his team . Having said that I have alot of respect for him but his brand of self mutilation is not a good thing to be influenced by .

As a female, I thoroughly enjoy hearing two masculine men talking about another man they admire. It's a different universe. Nothing can replace a male role model, at any stage in a man's life. Indeed. More solid male role models are beginning to appear on social media. At least, I've been finding more of them speaking out amid all the anti-masculine propaganda going about. I hope it's the same in the female arena. Hot babes encourages other hot babes to be hot babes and not be ashamed or brainwashed by the popular narrative and what not.

When you’re fighting an enemy, after a while, they’re thinking they’re slowing us down. No, in fact we’re only getting stronger as the fight went on.” That could be what it is for Goggins. I saw the video where David talks about his dysfunctional upbringing. Statistics say he could have very well turned to drugs, alcohol, basically living life with no path but straight to jail or death. I have nothing but respect and definitely admire the man for using all the negative aspects of his life to fuel his desires and become the edge most people can't bring themselves to. I watch him talk and he has this persona that he's never satisfied with his accomplishments and very humble. True role model for all young and old.

Also, he set it up as a series of challenges at the end of each chapter. I don’t know if they are in the book, but it gave me impetus to make some changes in my attitude and adjust my framework for thinking about how much I can actually do (even at 52 😂). By the way, I am also a big fan of reading and the concept of audiobooks is quite challenging for me to embrace as a psychologist and teacher. However, in this case I am glad I went down that path.

I'd say he went God mode at this point
David story is not only inspirational but life changing. I went through huge adversity in my life and David, no sorry Goggins, a man who doesn’t even know me, a man I have never met pulled me back to the top. Stay Hard!
You know you've reached legend status when people watch other people tell stories about you 💯✌️
When I see that footage and hear others’ stories about him, I am reminded of his book and am in awe of how spectacular it truly is for what he has come out of and how he has attained a level of mental fortitude that is beyond just being tough. He literally explores his mind deeper than most philosophers and theorists. He is fleshing out a ginormous experience that most of us will never actually go, because it is through a fearful galaxy of unknown potential. He is such a broken man that lives for the next wave.

@@siriansight There are a few loops of this clip on KZread! The two best ones are 15 minutes & 2 HOURS long! I put 'em BOTH on one of my playlists AND I ordered two different "Who's Gonna Carry The Boats?" tee shirts on Amazon (yes, they exist!), AND, got his Audible book! This guy is THE FUCKING TRUTH!
I’m so glad this came across my feed. I’m on the last chapter of “Can’t Hurt Me” audiobook and am so inspired to the point of it being impossible to stop listening! It’s that good and inspirational. I’ve pondered my own life, dug deep within my motives and shed some tears because of my childhood memories and what I’ve been avoiding admitting to myself in many different areas of my life and am in a journey to making a commitment to always look in the “accountability mirror” that only I can see and control. I love you David Goggins! Thank God you’re real!⭐️Roger that!⭐️
I come France and he give me so much inspiration and push my mental to make running and I hate running ! But i love this guy cause I have the mental to run 1hour 3 times a week . Thanks to him !

I don’t remember how many times I watched Joe laugh when he saw Goggins go “Who’s gonna carry the boats”. It’s oddly satisfying!
this is great i love his determination to constantly push his limits
Cameron: People can say whatever they want (about Goggins) People: *Crickets*
“He has imaginary enemies” I’m dead 😂
Goggins: Who's gonna carry the boats and the logs! Planet fitness: *ALL STAFF DEFCON 1, I REPEAT DEFCON 1*
Among the many inspirational quotes that Goggins has uttered, and there are many, this one quote got me “up and running” “I did it because I wanted to change myself”. Goggins
Might have to make “who’s gunna carry the boats!” my new alarm.
