    It's benign because it can be reversed. But what about when you go long enough to have fibrosis? What happens then? Can that be reversed too?

    Once you have fibrosis, the reversibility may vary from one individual to another. If you think you reached the fibrosis stage, you may get closer to your doctor to ask for a liver screening, and some advice for the next steps.     It depends on what stage of fibrosis you're in. The only person who have the legitimacy to give a statement regarding your condition are your GP and hepatologist. Don't hesitate to meet them, and explain your condition, if you think you have symptoms.

    No but it can be if you don't start making changes. I found out I had and immediately got to work to reverse it.
