As a medical provider I find it interesting that him and Dr. Berg are non-medical doctors who have great knowledge in improving our health.

In the fall of 2019, My ALT and AST's were extremely high. (101 and 103) I was diagnosed with fatty liver disease. The doctor started talking biopsy, medication, and even transplant. When I asked if there was anything I could do, he said, "You could stop eating sugar, But you won't. " I told him I'd see him in ninety days. I went home and threw out everything in my house that had sugar or turned to sugar in the system. I began a strict keto diet. Ninety days later, I had lost sixteen pounds , and went back to the doctor to have a new battery of blood tests. My counts were now thirty one and thirty three. The doctor was astounded. In one year from my initial visit I was able to reverse my liver damage. Although I lost a significant amount of weight, I did not Diet to get slimmer, but to get healthy. Now, it is simply a way of life.

The biggest moment of this video was that people are given the exact opposite advice to get rid of a fatty liver.

I had Nash 1 and was able to heal my liver in just a few months with intermittent fasting and high fat diet. My gastroenterologist told me to go one a low fat diet because I had a non working gallbladder also. I told her Nah, low carb high fat. Her face was of disappointment. I go back 6 months later with normal enzymes and a ct scan that showed no more fat and it wasn’t enlarged. I thought she would be happy but she shut me down when I started to tell her my diet works lol. Gotta love it.

I did my blood test yesterday after 5 weeks of 100% no carbohydrates no sugar no fruits no starch no red meat diet. My Liver panel test result shown AST , ALT , GGT level all perfect! Far from its top range. Just 5 weeks. My fatty liver is reversed to healthy normal. I lost 4-5kg just from dieting and stop eating after 7pm till next day lunch. 2 meals a day. Only boiled using water, steam Fish , tofu , cabbage broccoli veggies , chicken breast , black coffee no sugar for afternoon lunch and green tea no sugar during evening dinner not later than 7pm. After 7pm I fast till next day lunch 12pm. The fasting time is extremely important as this time allows digestion and some hunger which makes our body burn the fat within without exercising. Exercising barely able to reach the fat around our liver. So fasting is the effective way. I had No milk (contain high fat and high sugar) . No snacks. No all kind of bread which still are carbohydrates. No cake. No biscuits. No rice. No noodles. No fruits especially as it’s fructose are directly process only by our liver! Just 5 weeks and fatty liver is back to normal with proven liver function blood test compared to my previous test result 5 weeks ago. I feel very lively light and positive. I lost 5kg. Also My cholesterol and sugar level were also extremely good blood test result! I m looking way younger and my body is nicer too. I m 33 years old male. Non smoker non alcoholic. Didn’t work in a toxic environment. I didn’t exercise. But I ate much rice , fatty red meat, and milk and cookies and fruits. I slept late before. Now I kicked those bad habit n bad diet. After recovered from fatty liver, I continue my way of eating n fasting n sleeping time. I reintroduced some healthy carbohydrates back into my diet. Such as some corn carrot , some wheat bread, a little potatoes. Please make sure u do not overdo it. I really mean only some. Lack of discipline and taking it for granted will cause regrets. I’m sharing for mankind and for those who were helpless from useless doctors. And I’m sharing in memory of my late father who passed away due to end stage liver disease.

Sugar is the most addictive thing in the world. It's killed more people than all drugs and alcohol combined. I'm trying to stop my addiction to it as we speak. Thank you for telling me what my GI doc wouldn't tell me.

I went through chemotherapy and now have a fatty liver that I never had prior. I have now started a a Keto diet and finally able to exercise lightly to start so will see how this effects my liver. I also stopped all the medications they prescribed for pain and am just working through the pain which is bad in the mornings mostly. Great information.

Thank you @Dr.StenEkberg, your videos have changed my life as I was weighing 245, taking high blood pressure medication and had an A1C of 5.7 back on June 15 2021 when I went to my doctor, I’m also 57 years old. Your videos helped me create a plan of action and goals to follow and on December 20th when I returned to my doctor, I had lost 65 pounds bringing my weighing down to 180, my doctor took me off of my blood pressure medication and my A1C dropped to 5.0 and now as of May 12th 2022 I am still maintaining my goal weight of 180 stop eating processed foods and sugar, following an intermittent fast window of 18/6 eating following a keto plan eating 1 ingredient foods including meat and vegetables and limited fruits, 2 times a day between 11am and 5pm, walking 3 miles in my neighborhood park 4 times a week, get 6 to 8 hours of sleep each night, using the breathing exercises I learned to lower cortisol/stress and drinking water when I’m thirsty to stay hydrated, my quality of life is so much better from learning from your teachings, Thank You so much again!!!
