What Is Leaky Gut?

Ойын-сауық

The microbial ecosystem in the gut must be healthy for you to be healthy. When your gut bacteria are out of balance - when you have too many pathogenic bacteria and not enough healthy bacteria - it makes you sick.
I explain why gut microbiome imbalances can often lead to IBS in the latest episode of my Health Bites series. You can find the full episode on The Doctor’s Farmacy podcast.

Why do DOCTORS NOT mention that all vascular organs including the intestines have a layer of what is called secondary lymphatic tissue between the inner epithelial layer and the outer organ wall that is there to filter out toxins to your lymphatic system. All vascular organs... stomach, guts, kidney, bladder, etc. Your guts are supposed to let things through. The problem is that if you have an undergrowth of good bacteria then indeed too much bad bacteria will be absorbed. But the absorption is indeed normal. Correcting gut biome is a matter of eating raw/fermented foods. This is the fault of processing dairy. You need fresh raw dairy. Manufacturers/ food processors cannot reintroduce lactobicilus and bifidus etc. Into processed (pasteurized and homogenized) dairy. The meat and dairy associated lobbied to get dairies from distributing locally. Most states outlawed selling raw dairy.

Kefir seems to be revolutionising this problem.

In your opinion, is it better to source raw dairy or just take probiotics containing lactobacillus, or can we get by without dairy at all and still heal a leaky gut?

Nutritional deficiencies, bloating/ gassy and diarrhea, immune problems, moody, skin challenges are all symptoms. I didn’t realize how bad my stomach felt every day until it didn’t feel that way anymore.

I had my gallbladder removed and I’ve already had a problem with Seebo. I’ve taken care of that with lots of anabiotic’s unfortunately. Going forward can you make a suggestion since I don’t have a gallbladder in regards to digestion?

The small intestine is not "1 cell thick"... it's 2-4 mm thick.... we don't have any cells that big and I'm not going to explain why because that's 6th grade biology

I love learning from you, but you are looking increasingly runned down and old. Why? I would expect you age slower or at least look more rested. No offense intended just an constructive observation. Hopefully everything is ok with you. Blessings
