I hope this helps someone in the same situation as me: Our I-130 got approved the same day as our interview however, I waited 85 days after the interview to get a result on my 485. Here’s what I did; my driver’s license expired on the 60th day after my interview and I went to the BMV here in Indiana on the 78th day after my interview and I requested a drivers license. They gave me a temporary license for 21 days and said the expiration date will be set by the DHS after we send them a request. Seven days later I got the notification that my 485 has been approved. If you’re in the same situation that I was in, please try the same it might work. Also, please make sure you do not lie to the BMV tell the truth thanks!

I got my EAD a month ago from Family based Adjustment. I very curious how long I have to wait for a green card/ interview?

Even if the decision was made right away the won’t let you know, they love to make you stressed!

They gave me decision directly after the interview, the officer went outside and told us we are approved and i will receive my card within few weeks.

In my case they let me know after the interview.

Mine took 2 months to get approved (54 days after interview)

My daughter’s case is still pending because as at the time of her interview the civil surgeon had not signed the medicals though a cover letter from the hospital was given to her to give to uscis. The medicals has been signed and given to her but she doesn’t know what to do. The interview was in November 2021. Should she wait for uscis ask to for it or should she send it without uscis asking for it?

Please ask a paralegal or who did ur paperwork cause this man don't answer questions. Read over the letter they sent u ..more likely you have to mail in what they asked u for ALONG WITH THE COVER NOTE

How long generally takes i751 decission after interview.

Me and my husband had an appointment in July 2023 , since they never gave us any updates of approval or denial meanwhile during the interview they never asked any questions except our daughter birth certificate. It’s weird

hello, we did an interview on the 20th of this month, my husband speaks French and was married before, however we did not bring the French copies off his divorce he did in his country we only took the English copy. The officer said she wanted the French copy and gave us her email for us to email to her. we did that and i asked for her to confirm she had received it. she replied 3 days after saying yes and she also needed the English too. I sent it and asked her to confirm she has received it. We have not heard back from her. now we do not know what is next if he's been approved or not. can you advise o this. plus I checked the case status and it says NOID, and we are to upload the documents which i also did. I know NOID means -notice of intent to deny. does this means we are denied? Thank you

Hello sir , I’ve a question: Is having an original marriage certificate mandatory on the day of the interview at the US’s embassy? I’m from Afghanistan and I got married in turkey 🇹🇷 My husband is waiting for his interview date in Ankara and unfortunately we lost our marriage certificate. Since we are foreigners and according turkey’s 🇹🇷 law, we can’t get a new one there’s no anyway. We could get only a document from the civil registration authority of Ankara but as they said there’s no any guarantee whether that document will be accepted by Us’s embassy or not. Your suggestions and thoughts would be really appreciated.

what if you sue the uscis and the judge makes a decision that uscis was rite. What happens then? what else can you do? will u get deported rite away?

I've been waiting for an interview since 2020. Finally I had an interview on April 5th 2023 they told me to send me the letter ✉️ to get a medical exam but I didn't get it yet. My question is how long does it take to get it?

The officer said that my case was approved, but it has been 3 days so far and the case status still hasn't changed. It is stuck on "Interview Was Scheduled". Is this normal?

Don’t take their word for it. Until you receive the card, that’s when you know for sure.

I received my card after 4 days exactly

I thought is 8-18 months after interviews on Aos marriage based green card

So are you saying you had to wait for your case to be approved for an interview and then had the interview and have still been waiting? I filed an i-130 for my wife in October 2020 and we are still waiting for an approval for that to even have interview!! It's completely insane. Taken years away from us..

@@dave34100 Yes,it’s crazy.My case was filed October 2019,and I’m still waiting for the decision…It’s wired that after the interview you still need to wait so long…Looks like they lost my documents…

@@nadyamachekova3503 wow I'm very sorry to hear that's happening to you. It seems the USCIS does everything in its power to destroy couples so they don't have to approve anyone. It doesn't make any sense. All I want is to have my family, and be happy... Yet it seems as if you have to sue them at every step, which is so expensive. I'm a citizen and I don't believe that America is a great country anymore. I once thought it but the only thing that makes me want to be here is the pay. The government is inept, and many people are selfish. A sad state of decay. I hope your circumstances improve, God bless you.
