Half the people in the comments missed most of what Jim said. I recommend re-watching it the video, he did explain it very well.

Under good moral character, you didn't mention false testimony. I got denied and they said i gave false testimony over an address where i was residing 💀. All i did confirm the address on the application as thats our mailing address too. Now do I have to wait 3 years before I can apply for citizenship again? This is so long 🤕

@@jimross2101 WAIT.... isn't that true for n400 as well?? Like, you can apply for citizenship after 4 years, 9 months and 1 day of having 10 year green card? a.k.a 90 days before your green card is 5 years old... At least my lawyer told me that, he said I will be eligible to apply on/after September 8th this year (I've received my green card on December, 7th 2016 ....5 years after that minus 90 days = September 7th, 2021. Someone needs to confirm this, because my attorney might be wrong?????? Maybe I have to wait December instead of September?

Hi! So to get this straight, you get approved for asylum say 2020 Jan. The 1 yr later you apply for a green card and it’s back dated to 2022. You count 4 yrs from the issue date of the green card bc that 1 yr you spent as an asylee counts towards the 5 yes total? So 2026 you dile for citizenship?

I been married since March 2017,I did apply for my adjustment of status late that year( 2017) After 2 interviews ,the first one done on 2018 & the second one on 2021 I GOT MY 10 years green card right the way ,I DIDN'T GET THE CONDITIONAL GREEN CARD My straightforward question is when can I apply for my citizenship? Does all these years since 2017 count regard applying to citizenship?? And which protocol apply to me ?? The 3 years or the 5 years?? Ps. I am still married Regards,

Hi..I lived in United States for 6/7 years...then my mother sends me on a summer vacation to go visit her parents (grandpa and grandma, whom raised me) i was a senior in high school then. but now I am going into my third summer here and i dont know what to do. Never received my green card myself maybe my mother has it. She never turned my documentation to me even tho I had moved to Minnesota to live with my father after only living with her for ONE year. I lived in Minnesota 6 years and 1st year with my mother in Seattle.

I have one question though, If someone applies within the 90 days anniversary based on marriage, does USCIS ONLY gives an interview appointment after the "since date" of the green card or it is possible that you can get an interview date within 90days prior to the 3 years anniversary?
