Something that I really like about this song is that as the song goes on and the lyrics slowly get darker they shift the music heavier and sort of grittier. Just a real nice pairing on content and tone, and even if you don't have the lyrics up you still can pick up that shift in mood.

Since they've been around for a long time, I really hope someone made a bad ass manga about them. They surely deserve it. If you read the (translated ) lyrics of some of their songs, you'll find out they're fabulously dorky scifi stories and I love it!

Ningen Isu was celebrating their 30th anniversary just before the pandemic with their first ever tour outside Japan. They played in a few places in the UK and had dates set in the US like Texas. They had to cancel those dates eventually and return to Japan. They did play at a Ozzfest Japan festival years ago. They have a huge catalog of more than 20 albums.

@@bernardoesperanto3194 Thanks for the info, I couldn't quite remember. My broader point was they had never toured outside Japan over their entire career, so it would have been a unique time to go see them.

@@joelroadie I'm no expert in OBS. I don't download, just switch on subtitles, set screen capture and audio capture as source in OBS then "Start Recording" under controls. I think any screen capture would work. Of course, for a reaction you'd have to resist the temptation to watch while being captured but that's easy to manage.

I was feeling a kinship with Suzuken (Ken-ichi Suzuki, the bass player) then I found out he is just a few months older than I and more proof Marko Hietala got all the cool hair in 1966, leaving very little for the rest of us that year.
