Love that wheelbarrow event. Absolutely a real world deal. Was just doing something similar this week - picking up rocks, loading them up, wheeling them to a new garden and dumping. Having the athletes dump the wheelbarrow would be the perfect finish - Basically an ugly clean to shoulder press.

You need to look into quick dry material for the shirts instead of cotton. Will need to change them a lot less during workouts.
