The last few years of strongman we really have been blessed. A huge roster of supremely likeable men, with no clear winner every show. Be it Martins, Evan, Mitchel, Tom, Oleksiy.. it's always an outrageously good showing - massive respect for all the hard work, and genuinely kind souls, that make this sport the greatest on earth.

@@GiantsLiveSTRONGMAN Definitely false. Strongmen were pushed to near death back in the early 2000's. In fact it was not uncommon for strongmen to die like Johnny Perry and Jesse Marunde. Also scary episodes were common like Kevin Knee collapsing multiple times. Today's strongmen come no where near the point of breaking. Hence why competitors like Brian Shaw were able to lumber around till they were much older.

Whats the point of nicole stone carry? If it is to test grip strenght then hook grip should be banned. Hook grip is not testing forearm strenght its testing your tendons durability and your will to fight pain off. I think that most guys who switched from gripping bar in standard way to hook grip can make a statemeant that after a while you are actually loosing your grip strenght even while your numbers go up.
