Brian didn't just press 200lbs dumbbells, he carried them himself, positioned by himself and didn't drop them on the ground after, absolutely wild

@dylanhackett8071 yeah, that seems to be the norm. When most guys get to those giant dumbbells they have other people carry them over and hand them off to the lifter while he's already down. Which seems to make it a bit less impressive. Still impressive, just not as much. Gotta clarify that cuz some people can't make that distinction or think in those categories.

Brian has created an unbelievable brand for himself. A warehouse full of merchandise, a personal gym with better equipment than any commercial gym, his own strongman competition. He does it all while remaining a humble, family man. True definition of self-made. Cheers

His ability to market himself and others just amazing. His gym would make any weightlifter jealous and wish they had one. He is a big man who made himself and his brand just as big. He is an amazing guy, Hats off to you Bro and continued success.

I suddenly got really emotional watching this vid. After saying to myself again what a freakin legend is this man, training hard, family involved, laying out a future. I also realised this is the last time we’re gonna see him compete.. And that actually makes me sad, because seeing Brian prepare himself for a comp with an eye on the most meticulous details, was an honour to witness. Best of luck big man! You are and forever will be an inspiration in strongman, in sports but most of all in life!❤

Mr. Shaw, with all the respect that I have, I believe there is one better than you at what they do, and that is the guy making your equipment for you at that machine shop. I do not know his name nor the name of the shop, but the one with the beard knows his stuff very, very well. Please, when you can, give his information. He is great. And again, I am not taking or trying to take anything away from you or your accomplishments, but this guy is where you will be with all of this in the years to come. I believe as great a career as you have had as a competitor, you will be the one to take this whole sport to the next levels through the work you are doing with organizing the competitions and even in designing the equipment used. As a side note, I am in a cardiac rehab program. The people there have me lifting weights, which is something I have never done in my life. You name comes up in that program. You are doing more for people watching your channel in ways you have not even thought would happen. Keep it going. Keep doing what you are doing. Keep learning and developing. I wish you all the skill and luck in the Shaw Classic. Thank you.
