Whereas people will witness Brian Shaws rise, and sadly, decline which is happening right now (IMO). People remember Eddie for WSM and deadlift, and they'll remember Brian as "won WSM 4x then lost his prime and couldn't win anymore" at least that's how i see it.. Ashofdraco It’s unavoidable to do some damage to your skin from stones and tacky but it doesn’t need to be in excess of what’s necessary, which is just having it on your hands. 2 years and 4 surgeries later , unfortunately still not back to shape. Mateusz before the injury was in track to be one of the greatest to ever do it but it's looking like he still has a road of recovery ahead of him!

Iv known Luke and Tom, since they first started going to the gym, in invergordon, and to see how well they’ve progressed over the years , but especially over the last year, to get to the stage they are at now, makes me so fucking proud. I knew they could do it and i know on their day, like they just proved, they are more than capable of competing with the elite strongmen. The interview at the end was golden, well done boys.

The guy preempted that as a "fall"(which I can understand, because he was probably under a lot of pressure considering the event) and threw the pad down tripping JF. Very dangerous, thankfully JF wasn't hurt besides a small cut

Got an older brother who is the drummer for a grammy nominated band, he had a show in my hometown and we got dinner and drinks then walked to the venue downtown. He tried walking through the front and his interaction with security was almost word for word what Eddie's interaction with security was like.

I just want to take a moment and speak for the unsung hero that doesn't get enough credit on these Beast videos: Hannah Felicity, the videographer. She kills it every time! Hannah doesn't get in the way, she always stays with him, she's learned Eddie's little quirks when he's about to do something funny so she's ready for it, she doesn't get offended when he says hilariously ridiculous things, she has to smell Eddie's farts constantly, and just seems like an all around sweetheart. And can I be totally honest... she's gorgeous! 😍 She's absolutely stunning. Anywho, carry on. Just thought she deserves a shoutout 🎉

What does it really mean?

eddie lots of your footage of the event was fantastic. many strongmen have taken to youtube and shown what they can of the event. your footage was ace. and poor mateuz man. seems like almost everyone now is experiencing a tear,, but that is going to happen in that game. i wish i was 25 years younger and to do what these guys are doing now. in high school i did a lot of lifting, did it in wrestling, did it afterward. after injuries i stopped. but best training i ever had as i was always interested in strongman from watching it on abc wide world of sport, was working in a produce apartment. lifting hauling tossing 50-125 sack of potatoes can take a tole on ya and build strength. seeing this footage eddie as well as your own and brians make me want to go back and attempt but father time has ticked lol...god bless ed.
