It would be so amazing if Eddie Hall could be one of the announcers this year! Brian do you think that is possible? I know he is very busy boxing but hopefully he can make some time to at least come and be at the competition. Have you talked to him and do you know if he is coming?

At 250$ per person for admission I'll pass. Why does it have to be so much for his events? It was like this before covid also. Meanwhile WSM is like 40 bucks so fans can actually enjoy. No one even knows this is going on. This will never be big if we only see highlights on KZread and can't afford to go see in person.
@coopaloop9560

@@wmiller7208 well he rented out a bigger venue this year he uses all his own equipment that he's bought in or that he's had made he's trying to make the show as good as possible for us so I don't think $250 is too much to ask for at all.
Seeing guys struggle with 380 lbs puts in perspective how good Big Z's 500 was

Especially considering how he just pure shoulder pressed those records and wasnt even pushed so couldve propably done more

Absolutely. Even more so seeing guys who are almost literally half his age struggle to put up 380.. He's 46 now and still managing to get high weights up.

7500 ft elevation does probably play a little part though.

exactly haha I just commented something similiar. You can't help but love this dude. He might not lift the heaviest weight but some of his lifts are just pure iconic. The guy really does put his all into it.
I don't even need pre-work out before going to the gym anymore. All I've gotta do is watch Brian do a training session or compete and it gets me pumped up. You're beyond inspirational, man! Get it!

I put his signed pic on my wall. I thought of him doing weighted pull-ups last night. Finished with 40lbs.... Did a set of 1, set of 3... was concerned I wouldn't have enough for more sets... but did a set of 4 and then 6 (goal).

Crazy watching people press weights overhead that I can't even deadlift.

Strive to be better than yourself and never make the comparison to others. I've been lifting for 45 years and that is a valuable lesson. Let's Go Brandon! ;-)

Just remember these guys are a very small percentage of people on earth who are very gifted in their genetics. Plus the obvious PEDs, but that goes without saying.

@@KlaustheViking That's always been my one dig - PEDs. I'm lifetime natural, so it can be a bit disheartening when all the guys you follow and admire are juicing. I love guys like Larry Wheels, Brian Shaw, Jay Cutler and so on, but they're all on gear so for guys like me who aspire to be inspired I'd like to see more top athletes who aren't juicing. I have no less respect for these guys, but it would still be nice if all of them weren't on roids.
Nice to see terry Holland’s commentating! Great guy
Z's 420 is just a joy to watch. So much controlled power. Sad that he got injured again
This is the audience that the lifters deserve!
It's nice to see Shaw ans Savickas compeat. True legends
Release the Shaw Classic to the masses for secondary monetization Brian!
Amazing show! To think Graham Hicks strict pressed 215kg/474 lbs easily last year and did 181kg 400 lbs for 15 reps, he will be going for that world record soon when his groin/hip has fully recovered.
The size difference between Terry Holland and the other guy made me chuckle a little bit
Please bring Shaw Classic to the UK - you have a huge following here mate 💪💪

I think it has more to do with funding. Right now he’s largely financing this himself. If he can get the right sponsors over there I’m sure he’d be willing to go on the road.

@@dr.floridamanphd I was thinking the same. Once this gets big enough, I see this competition outshining WSM. Just a matter of time 💪🏾
Log for max will always be superior to log for reps . So much more fun to watch . Would have loved to see Iron Biby and Luke Stoltman in this event
@e.c.9468

Knowing Luke's 212kg looked like it was nothing at the 2020 feats of strengh. And he managed to lock out 230kg for half a second (sadly not enough for the signal).

idk I think the Austrian Oak for reps was pretty amazing. Ofc Z was the only guy who could even do reps with the original heavier Oak.

Thanks for uploading this Brian!
1:21 as soon as i heard him i closed my eyes, and couldnt unhear eddie hall taking, im crying 🤣”genuinely” dehydrated
I’m so glad you posted this! A great, classic event.
That was an incredible finish 👏 thank you for sharing
Very happy to see this available to your KZread subscribers. Thank you.
Great to see this, thanks Brian. Missed the live stream sadly, but won't miss it next year. Much love from the UK.
Brian and Carrie I'm so proud of you guys for how great this turned out. The amount of time and care and effort you put into this shows and I'm blown away thank you so much.
Loved watching this! Thank you guys so much for the full upload!! Announcers were awesome and engaging, and kept people well informed of the individual competitors to a degree I don't see often in events like these. Can't wait for you to go get 5!!!
5:55 Terry's hand is so big and heavy that he has to support it with his other hand. It creates some kind of fucking metaphysical paradox :D
One word, EPIC !! I'm looking forward to 2022 !
As other people can relate I was there live in person it was my first show and it was absolutely a great time. Everyone screaming yelling. And giving energy to all the athletes . Neaver will forget . Brian & Keri really put on a competition world 🌍 class
It was a great comp. Looking forward to 2022.
They have the full shaw classic vid locked away in the safe with the guns and ammo never to be released

God I love this, big TH on the mic commentating for the Shaw classic, and all of this happening well over a decade after I saw them both compete in their own first WSM. I never would have imagined back then that this would be possible. Strongman is such an incredible sport and I pray it continues to grow at such an amazing rate. One day I would love to see the Strongman circuit being judged by 3 big events. Worlds, The Arnold, and The Shaw.
That was so cool to watch thx Brain
Awesome video . Stay strong 💪
Thanks Shaw for greate show and thanks for invitation of Zadrunas. Good to see him back in good shape!
The mad lad posted the past event what a guy! What a production. Maybe a teleprompter for the event list offs or queue cards.
Thanks for uploading
Thank you Brian
Great to see a show from a Legendary Strongman for all strongmen!
I already watched this at SS but thank you so much for sharing it on YT 🙏🏻
How have i not heard of shaw classic before? This needs more love!
SBD was awesome this year Brian! Great competition.
Gosh this was such an entertaining show! Highly recommend watching it on the Shaw Elite Club!
Terry Hollands is a world class act. Just the nicest guy ever. Love his commentating.

Now that you have revealed where the next competition is going to be held I am so excited to hear what the events are going to be and I'm also excited to just watch it! Jeez Brian, I really commend you on what you are doing for the sport of strong man. You are definitely a major reason why strong man is getting more prevalent in the United States compared to the UK. Your name will never ever be not mentioned in the conversation as one of the greats in my opinion. I think you're the best of all time. Congratulations on all your success and you're just an awesome human for giving back as much as you do to the sport of strong man. good on you buddy! Hello from Michigan USA! 💪 🏋️🏋️♀️🏋️♂️

Thanks for the Christmas present, Brian!
what a show! bobby is the man. i remember when big z pressed 450 x 4 reps in the arnolds
I love Terry's accent 😀
Can't help but love Mikhail. Always puts his all in it and gives a great performance.
This is a result of an ambitious Brian. Great job.
Trey looks Godlike love how he carries himself too immense stuff💜💜
Nice to see the competition
Love seeing Terry commentating
We need Big Loz and Terry on the mics next year
Lets fucking goo! So hyped for this yr’s Shaw classic!
Show classic much love
Terry do a great job.
This is so American. Love it. From 🇬🇧
absolutely phenomenal to see Graham Hicks strict press 440lbs above his head, it's impressive to push press that kind of weight with leg drive, let alone strict press it, it's just insanity! awesome content to watch as always.
Happy to see big T on the broadcast. 👍
Super inspiring how strongman powered through the pandemic
Long Live The King 👑 Big Z!
Christmass came early this year for the lifters who are tight on cash and didn’t get to see it live, shawstrength filling stockings this year youtube style.
It's too bad Hafthor isn't still doing this. I would love to see him again in Strongman. Great event, regardless!
Big-Z got his frame back!
It was so awesome to see big z out there hanging out with the kids.
JF was getting insanely strong before Arnold Classic injury. His log was amazing
really enjoyed this event
My jobs really limited training. Almost made it impossible, every time I watch these it gets me excited but hurts my soul at the same time.
Looking forward to the edited version of this, showing each event cutaway shown at the beginning, as well as each competitor.

Well the comp was in August so I wouldn't spend too much time waiting for it. They have been pretty protective over their footage so far
You know you’re the GOAT in a sport when you can create and host a spectacular championship event named after yourself *while you’re still competing!*
I must admit it's pretty cool that @shawstrength has left out the keg toss as he holds the world record in it
Can’t wait until the day I get to meet you brian. I’d be honored just to shake your hand.
Awesome!!
7:45 Loved it and every weight lifting vid should somehow display the load on the screen.
good to see terry hollands getting into comentating .
Bobby Thompson looks huge! He's gotten massive since the last time I saw him compete!!
Hixxy strict pressing everything is insane.
Just did Log last night... now I might have to do it again! 😆
Amazing
23:07 Amazing he managed to pull that together.
Bon courage Brave
My favorite event. Both to watch and to train. What a bunch of monsters here. Haha.
I honestly did not know Evan Singleton is from Lexington, KY. He’s not too far from where I used to live. Awesome.
Singleton is an animal. Can't wait for him to win WSM. As long as he's not sick for '22 like he was this year, it's gonna be a crazy battle between him, Shaw, Novikov, Licis, and the Stoltmans. The finals next year are gonna be intense. . .
Brian Shaw has made the biggest impact in the world of Strongman, and I hope he gets his 5th win this year.
Would like to see Brian win one more WSM!
DAMN those guys are strong!
awesome!
That's awesome.
Mangus give down signal to Brian before he even locked out and then didn’t give bish down signal when he locked it 😂😂
Hicks is amazing
Shaw Classis is the future for Strongman.
25:12 MADLAD
Nice job Brian killer competition 👏
28 minutes 17 seconds is Brian Shaw guys
The width/thickness of brians shoulder/traps is insane
Lets gooooo!
I'll watch this over the Arnold liberal classic anyday this will become way bigger than the Arnold's for strongman events
