That really is the best way to explain him, the thing he used to do on a pitch I didn’t see any player in the whole planet do. Like how do you tackle, intercept, dribble and drive the ball into space,create chances all in 90 minutes while running the whole game non stop

Kante is a machine, never seen anyone cover as much ground as he does. At true quality centre midfielder will always have a clean strip, there’s no need to dive in when you a footballing brain to read the game on another level

He’s also had monumental performances in several huge finals.

I cried when Cambiasso left us when we avoided relegation. I was even worse when Kante left us for Chelsea. Only had 1 season but still my all favourite player behind Vardy. Everybody loves Ngolo.

I remember thinking he was so underrated while he was still at Newcastle. I'm not even a Newcastle fan, I'm a Palace fan but I thought Simpson should have at least been in the England squad because Glen Johnson was the first choice at the time.

Best description of Kante was that Leicester played 3 in midfield that season....Drinkwater with Kante either side of him

Unforgettable season, what an achievement

The game he's talking about is the 2-2 away at Stoke. Stoke were 2-0 up at halftime. Kante was moved to the middle with Drinkwater. The game finished 2-2 and the rest was history.

He's won multiple individual awards thou like the PFA player's player of the year and UEFA midfielder of the year. He is not underrated at all he is rated by every single person who knows football

Kante has low-key been Chelsea’s best Player in the past 5 Years!!!! He gets in Chelsea’s top 5 Greatest of all time but has He seen His best Days???? Last Season He was constantly injured and when He did play towards the end of the Season he had a run of poor games which is uncharacteristic of Kante because even on a bad day for Him he’s above average, so at 31 You have to ask can His Body still cope with all that running or is His style and level of Football to much for the Body to handle in your 30s????

Vardy was amazing...... but Kante was the engine..... think about that back 4 - they were not quick in tight spaces - Huth & Morgan - super strong but slow - Kante protected them & Drinkwater was in the midfield w/ Kante.... & the 4wards were able to score in transition b/c Kante is turning the opponent over..... take Kante off that team & they are fighting off relegation - which is exactly what occurred the season before w/ no Kante

Danny is right, as a Leicester fan the only time I said we would win the league was when we drew with man united 1-1 away

Simpson was so underrated, not sure why either. Huge part of Newcastles defence when we finished 5th and then got pushed out and became an important player in a premier league winning team.

Got to attribute that a lot to Giroud’s inconsistency that season! Ozil was on course to smash the premier league assist record from February! Then Giroud went on a massive goal drought that cost us the title! During that period, Ozil laid on chance after chance for him Including many tap-in but he wasn’t able to convert!! So disappointing at that time we didn’t have many striking options!! It was Giroud, Walcott and Joel Campbell was in and out the first team! Sanchez was carrying a big work load

Only last season he had a shaky season cause of injuries. What other seasons was he bad? He led Chelsea to the champions league and he was man of the match in both semi finals and in the final. And all the seasons before that were phenomenal.
