I feel like it's a pretty well known one, but there's Gareth Bale's insane game at the San Siro. He was already playing for Spurs but that was the first time he really came through. Also any of Monaco's 2016/17 UCL matches can be a good fit for a lot of players like Mbappe, Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy, etc. One that particularly comes to mind is Monaco's 2 - leg win against Man City.

I live in Caen and its a good club where unfortunately the talents goes quickly . Its a former club, Lemar also and many others less known

I don't know how Kante played at 18 or 19 but how on earth is it possible that this guy was so many years unkown until his mid twenties? I see highly gifted abilities at his style of play I have never ever seen from another player. He's literally one of the most unique players ever, incomparable. As a scout I would have immediately contacted his agent for a deal if I would have spot a young talent who plays like this, honestly.

meh eh for the most part he is a CDM. Not playing as such for Sarri, but in previous seasons and for France he’s definitely been a CDM. And Casemiro doesn’t touch Kanté. Busquets is world class though for sure.

Kante and pogba are 2 of the best midfielders in the world and won a World Cup together, both come from very similar backgrounds, both born in Paris to African immigrants but their route to the top has been so different. Pogba was always a wonderkid and is so self confident we're kante was never highly thought of and is shy and reserved, 5 years ago Pogba was the 'next great midfielder' where as Kante was a nobody who worked his way to the top🙌🙌🙌

I think the players can be amazing and all, but if the coaching and teams in general are sub-par compared to many other big leagues, then it's regarded as a farmers league. PSG smash the hell out of the league, but in the CL they don't perform to the same level at all. Things change of course, like the EPL fell off for a while, Seria A died out, but Seria A is coming back with more players going to Italy and teams improving, PL teams have improved a lot too recently, etc... Ligue 1 just doesn't seem to be followed or cared about too much compared to other leagues, so the focus on teams and money is much lower.

People are calling it « farmer league » but when you see that Kanté (Caen), Varane (Lens), Umtiti (Lyon), Mbappe (Monaco), Hazard (Lille), Dembélé (Rennes), Tolisso (Lyon), Sadio Mané (Metz), Lloris (Nice) and Benzema (Lyon) all come from here, you understand that we made football :D

he really was the player that won us the League. Marez and Vardy were good and got the headlines but Kante was phenominal week in week out. I wish we could've kept hold of him. The mad part is we sold Drinkwater to Chelsea for only £2m less than Kante (£33m) and he doesn't make their first team.
