It was a combination of KZread demonitizing the videos, Matt's brother, who did a lot of the editing of the videos, dying and doing a lot of other things.

KZread is stupid for demonetizing the channel which is educational and wonderful to see pets being helped.

Bonnie needs the neck brace to be "bedazzled"...

it did look like some type of myelopathy, that high up, at least in humans you have to worry about paraparesis. that being said, watching these videos made me realize that I made the biggest mistake of my life. I should have been an animal doctor rather than a people one.

The clinic is still up and running helping all the animals they can. Right now Matt has so much on his plate, on top of YT demonitizing this channel which is in my belief because its linked to demo ranch and YT HATES any pew pew pews. Matt's brother also recently passed this week and I know he's gonna be busy helping with that. They'll be back someday with more vet vids. Until then check his brother Mark's channel out help support his family simply by watching a video or two with ads. Take care!

@@suzieq4007 They were pointing out the fact that they watch ads only for Vet Ranch because the ad revenue goes to help these animals. Using an ad blocker prevents this channel from making money from ads, which reduces the amount of care they can provide for these animals.

I was surprised Vet Ranch popped up ... I am aware google is manipulating its viewers... in general... google is trying to dump its old original viewers.

I LOVE this Channel, I wanna Be a Vet when I'm older and luckily for me I work at a vets office, all I do though is walk, feed, medicate(sometimes), and wash the animals(which is FUN), and I clean the clinic. I love my job and I can't wait to graduate High school and start college.🥰

I'm just is guessing here, but it could be that they got demonitized AND a strike and it could have been their last strike before the channel gets deleted, so they chose to stop uploading instead of risking all the educational video's getting deleted? 🤷‍♀️ Just my guess

@@joco885 keep in mind, vet ranch videos also are not filmed over the course of a day or sometimes even a week. some of these animals take months of care and healing to help. So that, plus the whole situation with his brother, might explain the lack of uploads.

@@PigeonLord, I get that they take a while, but we used to get them once a week or every other week. Now, it's 2 months. And I could understand if he was taking time to be with his brother or help him, but he's still uploading regularly on two other channels.

This honestly just made my day! Feels like forever since seeing a Vet Ranch video 💜💜

I just lost my dog yesterday. 11 years old. I'm glad you are saving and helping these dogs. We didn't have enough money to save her. She was having seizures and horrible shaking. We don't know what was wrong with her but it would have been a 2-3500$ to keep her alive at the time. But it's okay she's not suffering anymore and having her rest. Her name was Princess and she was a husky 💙💙

Assy Peas I’m soooo sorry. When dogs have seiners often it could be epilepsy or she could of had a brain tumor. My dog just had one and we don’t know what’s wrong with him. Again soooo sorry for your loss and I hope your ok.

It seems like they don't have money for the resources they need to help animals that are about to get euthanized or need help (from the streets). These vets are helping homeless pets. They aren't getting any money for it and it takes a lot of time, effort, utensils and with that money

Dr Karri and Dr Wendy have still been posting videos and updates about the Vet Ranch animals they are working with on the Vetr Ranch Facebook page fairly frequently. Because the channel's quiet, that's the best place to see new Vet Ranch animals and content.

So happy, that there's a new video! I absolutly love the stories behind the videos as well as the medical content. I'm in the 3rd semester of studying veterinary medicine, which makes it even more fascinating and interessting. :) Thank you! Edit: Aren't there supposed to be ligaments and muscles that keep the vertebraes in line and stablelize the entire spine? I know that it is impossible to evaluate the state of those structures on an x-ray. But theoretically those structures should prevent vertebraes from moving out of line. This is supposed to me more a kind of question. Maybe there is someone who knows or maybe even one of you vet ranch guys can help. :)

So, I had to watch the entire video before commenting. The minute he stated “wobblers” I knew I could hopefully answer your question. “Wobblers” is a genetic condition commonly found in horses and several large dog breeds. I have personally never seen in in such a small dog. To answer your question. Yes, there are these structures that are supposed to limit the movement of the vertebrae’s from moving in a normal dog. Now because wobblers is a genetic condition these structures have not formed correctly or the vertebrae itself is not formed correctly allowing for movement. This causes inflammation of the spinal cord and the “wobbling” that you see. The only cure for this condition is surgery in which the vertebrae are fused and no longer allowing for movement. This surgery is very expensive and requires a specialist to perform. This isn’t something that the average veterinarian does. Because of the prep needed for this surgery it (sadly) just isn’t something that an average person can afford and many “wobbler” dogs are euthanized. I am happy to hear that she went to a rescue who hopefully can get her the surgery needed or at the very least keep her comfortable with the steroids and her little neck brace. Edit* I though it was interesting that because of her size he immediately went to a toxin ingestion. This kind of goes to show how few small dogs we see with this condition. I am willing to (almost) bet if Bonnie were a large dog he would have automatically gone with X-rays first.

He said “neck brace” and I thought a tent tiny human cervical collar, lol.

She was so scared I hope nobody hurt her. Such a sweet cute little baby.

I work part time due to a chronic illness, yet I am able to stay home and foster cats/kittens or dogs. So I can still in the comfort of my home and make a big difference in taking care of these animals. Several ways to help animals in need!! Just ask your local shelter you wont regret it 😊👍
