Funny story i found what i thought were iron meteorites on that beach years ago. Little reasearch about this location's history around 100 years ago were blacksmiths and shipyard/ warf etc. My findings turned out to be slags from these works of years passed.
Travis fills the bucket with only seconds to spare! 🎉 Fire up the tumbler! Can't wait to see the rocks shined up or made into cabs! Fantastic video!
Amazing beach I need to get out there! 😮
Rock number 60 is referred to as a - LEVERITE, as in LEVERITE there so I can pick it up, hahaha just kidding, good haul.. love ur channel..😎👍

Have you ever considered making a sheet of images of the most common rocks you find? It would make identification , for me especially, a whole lot easier. Love watching you and your boys picking rocks!

I'll be the first to order one, please, if you ever do it. Even a folding ,laminated pamphlet would be fantastic. I've looked for sheets specifically for your shorelines but there isn't any or they are vague. I live in Ontario but we head East every summer to be near the ocean.
Best rockhounding video I've seen in a long time! Be blessed boy's and have a cool 😎 summer.
Lots of treasures in that beach!

What an awesome way to spend a day; at the beach collecting rocks "competitively" as a group. That panoramic shot at the end is a great indication of how lucky you guys are to live where you do! 🏖

There are few that resemble a heart shape. Especially the one in the very first vertical row, eighth rock ❤ Great collection! Too bad it’s so far from FL : /

@@jimmymcgill2557 It is. The red rocks in this video are fragments of a larger limbcast that was a conifer type tree from the Jurassic period.
First thought u was sayin Sea Maggot lol
Loved the video and Travis topping the bucket at the last second! We were there last week and had such a great time finding SO MANY beautiful rocks!! I think the best picking was off the bridge to the right above the tide line....so much material!! Love Scots Bay!

All those rocks are beautiful that was a good challenge
Awesome video! Our family with two little ones (7 and 5) are heading to your neck of the woods in late august. (Staying near Dartmouth). We just started tumbling last year but we’re super excited to try our luck with our extremely amateur eyes. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Lawrencetown beach near Dartmouth has some nice tumbling stones. Easy access for the kids. Scots Bay is about a 1.5 hour drive from Dartmouth but worth it!!
Needs more cowbell, hahaha!!

How marvellous. Great video, thank you. Wonder if any UK beaches wash up gemstones? Doubtful but if anyone knows please reply x

What state is this in or is this in canada. I have to get out to the beaches this year and try find some agates. The gravel pits in Minnesota won't let people in anymore, I live on north shore lake superior.

Seems kind of ridiculous to look at these stones and say how beautiful they are and then drop them three or four feet from down into a bucket so they can Crash & smash the other stones that are already in it
