Ty I couldn't wait to see another one of these. You got me.i to.doing tbis.
Morganite is probably my most favorite of the gems. I love Rubies and find Tanzanite so very appealing and enchanting. Mandarin Garnet will suck me in at a glance but Morganite resides at the very top of my list. This stone is stunning!
I love how when the cut stone is rotating and the three axes are in line, the number of facets multiply, truly amazing work and a beautiful gem.
WOW you did an amazing job, turned a rock into a GEM!

Bravo, Steve! It was such a pleasure watching you cut this masterpiece!!
This is fascinating. I always knew that it was laborious but wow, I wouldn’t have the patience. The cut is brilliant but my favourite is the Asscher cut, older style but beautiful. Thank you so much for this. We learn something every day.

I got to see this stone in person before it was cut when my fiancée and I visited the shop to get her ring resized. Her ring turned out perfect, and it was an absolute pleasure to chat with Mr. Moriarty about gems and faceting. This stone turned out beautiful!
Been a rockhound for over 15 years and have been wanting to get into gem cutting. The videos that you make really inspire me to chase my dreams of being a professional gem cutter. Keep up the amazing work I love your vids!

That is the nicest largest Smithsonian collection quality morganite beryl I have ever seen. You undervalue that stone and your talent skill and attention to detail.
This was actually incredible craftsmanship. Well done. Didn't expect that rock to turn out that well.
As a toolmaker and machinist I really appreciate the precision and amazing tools you use for this beautiful piece

Definitely have something to be seriously proud of. Amazing work. You have a good eye for seeing how this should be finished up.
Always appreciate a craftsman skilled in his trade. And that vault is no joke!
So much patience and precision required, amazing
I have never seen a stone cut from the begining and was unfamiliar with morganite. I would never have imagined that dull looking stone would turn out so stunning. After watchng this video I have researched Maoganite and seen beautiful jewelry made from the different colors. Mr. Moriarty certaianly has earned his master title. Thank you for sharing the process sir.
Absolutely fascinating, the transformation. That color is stunning
Damn dude you are good! I've seen a bunch of these videos from different people but holy crap man that is perfection.
Amazing work. Beautiful stone.😮
Wow! Very very amazing job on that morganite. Wow
Thank you so much to share it with us
My family did a lot of lapidary work, and I had some wonderful times. At one point, I looked into faceting, mostly because of my love of faceted gems. Never did, though and stayed with Opals. This was a wonderful and fascinating process to watch. The cut for this stone gave it life as you looked down into it. I was captured by the varied splashes of light generated by the facet angles of the pavilion. Lastly, the color. I've seen Morganite that are pink. This color is, in my opinion, much more stunning. Thanks for a view into faceting.

gems have no value, the value in them is rich people wasting money. its a rock, rich people give them value. diamonds can be made for pennies and are just as real as mined diamonds.
Mesmerizing looking gem.
Truly lovely stone and colour you have done a splendid job really something to see
