I wantto take a second to say thank you. 2 years ago, i began to teach myself how to make fine jewelry at home to over come my struggles to walk, and in hopes it would break the cycle of homelessness. i have learned alot thanks to you, and i greatly appreciate everything i have learned from these videos. also, i appreciate the other lessons ive been able to learn beyond the smithing, and started a youtube channel in hopes i could make it, i would have never had a chance. thank you again for all the help along the way

I love the thickness of the band !! Most large stone rings you see have these tiny skinny bands and it just looks disproportionate. idk if they are requested that way, but to my mind this is much more practical. You want to have support for those stones. Really incredible work! That is such a an incredible craft and talent. I hope you are paid well !

No flux needed for platinum soldering I guess. :) ETA: Wow, working a graver right next to that stone must have been nerve wracking the first few times! P.S.: The ring when viewed from the side looks like the stylized bull from ancient iconography and it is wearing a crown. Was that intentional?

Beautiful sapphire but too big a stone in my opinion. The diamonds are a beautiful accompaniment to the sapphire though.

The stones are beautiful but I personally would order the actual ring part thinner on the bottom, so that when you lay your hand on the table it doesn't raise your ring ringer too much higher and be uncomfortable! Maybe something to incorporate into your next heavy ring band plans!

Platinum ( blue glasses) you charge 3X gold , his cost thousands for the metal , years of training , huge fine sapphire ! Yes a good price . The sapphire is heavier than diamond so could be 30 carats ? It is an extraordinary ring like you will never see again .

My sapphire is white but has a few blue spots under 1 carat weight. including rare and antique stones. It has been offered at a price of $80 000. But it doesn't match my wishes

This comment is for jewellers…. I’m 100 percent sure, that Mr Rives has a laser welder, he doesn’t stabilise nothing with the laser and then solder, instead he solder EVERYTHING at once by hand … This is confidence and experience… A true craftsman!!! 👏👏👏

I'm sure there's only a few designs that work with a 30ct sapphire, but man was this just uuuuuuugly! It was so basic and bulky looking! - 300K I'd want some sleek design without the skeleton look -

Great work, but I don't care for the design. The stones are at least twice the size they should be for a woman's ring. With a much wider band and a shorter stand for the stones, they could work for a man's ring if he has rather large hands. That sapphire would have looked better in a necklace or bracelet instead of a ring.

Im sure the owner has many necklaces with stones twice as big as this. This reminded me of Princes Diana's engagement ring, which with a size similar to this one is very small by "Royal" standards.
