Ойын-сауық

Ever wonder what's inside those random rocks you find everywhere? Well, we're about to find out! Watch as I cut open a variety of rocks that I have had for YEARS to see what is inside. I cannot believe what I found inside these and I'm mad that I didn't cut them sooner!

Pretty sure it's not a normal saw so it's safer for your hands. I've seen some like that. Like the ones they use for a cast

Continuous edge diamond blades won't cut you, but they will grind your fingernails down. Someday I plan on upgrading to an actual lapidary saw but for now, I just use a tile saw.

Just so you know, when you cut a rock with dendrites, they will only be fully visible if cut from the right angle. If you had cut that second rock in parallel with the bottom it probably would have had dendrites similar to what was visible on the bottom throughout. Also, that black you could see is evidence that there are dendrites from fossil bacteria within, but the angle was off. Loved the video, thanks for sharing it!

Alot of the old forges in the Great Lakes region would dump their slag in the lakes and you get glass/stones that look like that. They come in a bunch of colors too. Super fun video! It’s great to go thru the opening process with you after you cut them. We just got back from a camping trip and both visits to the beach ended up with us taking two very heavy buckets back to our campsite! I definitely need to do what you did since our variety is astounding and I really want to know what’s inside the rocks we found!

Lot's of excitement in your videos. I liked the "big cheese" at the end - don't eat it. Very nice work. Congrats! dp

Even though most of the rocks weren't "special looking" I still find them beautiful. They would make very nice settings for jewelry.

Really great video. Put me in a good mood, and I was completely enthralled. I'm an amateur rock hound, but even my wife was captivated. Subscribed for sure!!

The cheese rock is hilarious. But also cool. As soon as you opened it I was like that looks like cheese…. Or bread. And then you said it out loud and I’m like… so I’m not the only one XD.

Rock #3 came out amazing despite it falling apart. The triplets were a nice surprise. Some of the rest were interesting, but nothing that wowed me like the third one and the triplets.
