you sure about that? i've been playing guitar for about 8yrs give or take, an def not 24/7. and i can play a few of thier songs. alot of it is hammer ons, hammer offs, and pinch harmonics. can literally do it one handed really if you practiced 20 or 30 hrs trying to do so. i'd say give things another try and maybe go with G.O.A.T. or Euphoria since those are far easier than alot of thier other tracks.

@moviebad109
2 жыл бұрын
@@oicfas4523 not necessarily. Alternate picking a run that goes through multiple strings can get tricky. Because you may end up going opposite motion depending on the run. Like if you’re in a note on string 3, you’re picking “up” for the next note, but it’s in string 4 (down) the motion of your picking technique is taking you AWAY from where you want to be for the next note in the run. It’s why a lot of guitarists use what’s called economy picking. Basically picking with the thought in your mind of where you need to be next. You “economize” your motions so they’re more efficient. But, your pick direction DOES have subtle tonal differences to the trained ear. Which is why he likely recorded it that way. Playing it live is just another beast entirely. You need to be like surgically precise to pull off an alternate picking run across multiple strings. Or write it in a way that compensates your motions by going “up” or “down” a string depending on where your current pick direction is.

Yo, love how honest you are, and the enjoyment you show watching them play.
Amazing that you have inspired musicians all over the world, to take the time and effort to do justice to your amazing compositions. Cheers!!
Polyphia riffs are so advanced 90% of all covers are by asian people lol All of them were absolutely amazing

Some things that had to have to make an polyphia cover: - have 10 fingers or more - have an instrument - be alive - be asian

Absolute proof that amazing musicianship and song writing ability transcends all instruments and can work with whatever you have. Amazing work to everyone in this video, especially Tim for creating such wonderful music and arrangements
It was wonderful to see you react to all of the different renditions with awe and appreciation! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
0:50 legit sounding like it was written by Niccolò Paganini. Made for violin. That's fucking amazing.
3:22 "and she's alternate picking it like you're supposed to" Sierra Hull, beast bluegrass player
It’s always refreshing to see an artist sayin “hell yeah” to someone doing his covers.. keep it up Tim! You’re awesome bud!
I have never heard these instruments sound so good. These players are amazing. Tim your expression when watching Danny is priceless.

You know some parents are tired of hearing their kids practice classical music. This has to be refreshing.
The violin is so powerful and articulate with transitions between notes. No frets, just talent. It has to be so difficult. Much respect to you and your fans ;)

Woh... The talent cant be described in words... Much love to all these talented musicians!. And TY Polyphia for providing the inspiration for these covers. Much love to all in the comments as well. Keep on rockin!!
It's really cool you do this stuff and interact with fan content of you and Polyphia's work!
Tims eyes are just everywhere even noticing them Spongebob sheets
"They're having full on Polyphia concerts without us, crAAAAAazy" I LOST IT
What a wonderful compliment of your work and composition. Love how music moves across the planet as a common language that can be interpreted, adapted, arranged in unexpected ways. Very cool.
Wow, I've been a casual listener of Polyphia for a few years and have always been impressed, but only recently discovered Tim was a KZreadr. It's so cool to watch his genuine admiration of these fan submissions, really inspired by his generous spirit! Subscribed based on this video alone.
"Bro how the f**k are you gonna do that on four strings?" **the two people that played songs on just one string had left the chat**
I screamed "what the fuck" in perfect sink with tim when I heard 8:20 ; fucking harmonised perfectly. confirmed: that's clearly the only sane response.
