I've got the mk 2 V70 with the rear facing seats and a full size spare fits underneath.

I really want to do this on my 960 and have been looking on and off for some decent rear seats, rather than the very flimsy-looking 200-series rear seats with all the seat-belts and everything else needed. I assume the general gist is the same - thanks for showing that. Missed out on a wooden wheel on Marketplace this week too

If only I could find good seats that match my interior!

What kind of hook did you use to attach the backrest to the back of the second row?

Lining the boot floor is a great idea. Did it make the cabin any quieter?

not sure yet as i have so much squeaking and i never really drove the car before the install (it's my other videos) kzread.info/dash/bejne/a3qgmNGJcbGal6w.html I still have some work to do on the rear end like attaching the tailgate trim properly, also need to line my cabin properly. sorry for the inconclusive comment!

Never liked these from a safety point of view. Wouldn't put my kids in the crumple zone. Have xc90 with 7 seats, but the are not in the crumple zone and on the rear subframe for side impact.

Didn't Volvo reinforce the floor on the factory rear seat cars for additional strength?

@@SuperFIFTHGEAR 850 has the sips, but as I'm aware nothing special about the rears of the 850.

@@matthewwiddows6319 You may be correct about the 850, I'm sure I read it somewhere about old Volvos but I think it was in relation to rear-facing seats in the 740/760.

Just buy an XC90 😁 Job Jobbed🤣
