I assume that Jordy being a musician has made your relationship easier. Since he is already used to having an audience, so he can relate to what you do as a content creator. You both create things to make people smile

the rug is so fun! there are no rules to decorating how YOU want to. i can see it clashing with the sailboat like you said but also thrifty is your vibe and it’s fun to have pieces with a story behind them and the rug really brings that out!!

In my opinion, your ability to talk openly with Jordy and talk about things that you don't agree on is personal growth, but also (and very importantly), you are in a healthy relationship now and it is safe for you to be open and honest about your opinions. I did long distance with my husband for two years- and two wars he was Army - and it has created the most amazing foundation for our future. We've been married 15 years and although we have such a blast, we have been through some really tough times. My mantra through it all was: Absence is to love as wind is to fire: it extinguishes the little flame, it fans the big. Ours ended up being very big.

As far as fights: I don’t think it’s ever normal or healthy to raise your voice or cus at someone during a disagreement, but for some reason people are more prone to call that “normal” and think it’s weird for people to have emotionally mature disagreements or even arguments in a passionate , but respectful manner , instead of a shouting match. We are either so used to distinction, or fear it so intensely we end up emotionally repressing ourselves and others. So happy to see you two have a relationship full of mutual understanding and respect for one another 😊

I looked at this rug for my daughter's nursery. When I see it, I can't think of it for a living room. I think kid's room, but that is just personal opinion. I think it detracts a little bit from the furniture you chose for the living room, although I'm all for you infusing more color into your decor

I have a ruggable for my back door where my puppy comes in and out of! I love it! I hate washing it because I hate moving the furniture but it washes well and is easy to put back. ❤

Aww good on you. Me and my ex husband used to fight all the time, and they would turn ugly really fast. Me and my new partner have been dating for awhile now and still haven’t had a fight, which makes me so happy because with his personality I just don’t think it’s possible to fight with him 🧡

Great vlog! Feels like I am part of your life

I have been married 23 years this year, and the one thing that I have learned is that all couples argue. If anyone tells you that they don't argue with their spouse, they are lying. You can't help but argue if you both are individuals with their own mind, and thoughts, and opinions. My husband I and I spend a lot of time together, in the home and outside of the home, we like that same things in that way. However, we are both well educated in different areas, his being science, and mine being business. Because of this and the fact that we had very different upbringings, we have formulated our own opinions, likes and dislikes. That is only natural! But because of differences we tend to argue, or even bicker on things, but it does not mean that we love each other less in any way. Most times we are not even angry in any way, shape, or form. You and Jordy have differences, you can not help but have difference. These differences have shape your retrospective opinions, etc. It just means that you are individuals. What makes the difference is that how you handle those differences: ie. not get mad or angry, that is were it counts.
