you can tell russian gymnasts incorporate ballet training into their regimen. they prep correctly for turns (weight forward, port-de-bras placed evenly through shoulders and back for the most part), and their turns are even and controlled. their lines on ub, bb, and while dancing on fx are entirely created by barre training/balletic conditioning.

I believe Simone, Rebecca Bross, and Kyla Ross won World Bars medals for USA too. If you want to go back further, Amy Chow, Shannon Miller, and Dominique Dawes are all bars World or Olympic medalists.

I'm actually confused how she won the Russian nationals. A very nice bar routine, but 3 average ones and a fall from beam. She is graceful and nice to watch, but needs more difficulty i'd think.

The channels just post, re-post and re-re-post the same videos but no one bothers with fixing the audio sync first. I mean, if you already had the job of editing the video merging four videos into one, what would cost to drag the audio a bit?

Let's remember Simone felt twice in 2018 AA and her margin over Xijing in 2019 AA was of 2.1 points. I don't expect that to happen, but I wouldn't say that's a impossible scenario. She knows her program is getting too risky, that's why she didn't use the Biles vault and Biles beam dismount during 2019 finals.

@@pedrojorge1912 if ou yushan is in form I would think that Simone would really have to go for it. Ou yushan has a Dty, 6.3 on bars, 7.5 on beam and 6+ floor. While I'm confident that Simone hitting would secure her the gold, not hitting would make it an actual competition.
