@everythinggymnastics5535
3 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s ok to 3 passes some gymnasts only have 2 like Nina Derwael . You only have to count 3 acrobatic elements out of the 8 skills in a floor routine so a gymnast could double tuck (D) first pass and then 1.5 twist (C) + 2.5 (D) (CV-0.1) twist as the second and fulfill the requirements. So some gymnasts count 5 acrobatic elements and 3 dance skills like Mykayla Skinner in 2016 and some only count 3 acrobatic and 5 dance skills elements like Nina.

I hope they get a medal for floor at Paris as Jessica was 0.133 from a medal (and had the highest execution) and Jennifer was 0.993 but had a lower difficulty.
Very nice routine with lovely choreo! I really enjoyed it and I'm glad she won!
I LOVE this routine!! Great dancing, great tumbling, so expressive and crisp. She makes it look easy!!!
She is incredible
She is amazing!! I wish her the best.
Great landing on the double layout
she finishes the twists in her silivas before her feet are even over her head in the second flip. Insaneeeeee she could do a triple double

Aright hold on lol.. she’ll probably do a moors for Tokyo id say realistically
She is just beautiful to watch (as an ex commenwealth gymnast ) her tumbling is outstanding and her height plus the choreography is excellent! Come on Jess you can bring a medal home (Tokyo) fallen in ❤️ with you and Jen! Best of luck to the whole team too though! Xx
Yay Jessica! So happy she won!
Just beautiful
very talented~~!!!
Beautiful choreography!
One to watch… power, grace and flexibility total package, and the poise at her age. Amazing!
GORGEUS. It's nice when we can see the gymnast dance beautifully without having to go from a tumbling pass, to a jump sequence, to some turn and on, and on, and on. This performance is a breath of fresh air.
we will hear and see a lot more from Jessica. Go girl go! 😂
Great Routine ✨😍 well deserved gold medal
Well done young lady you were absolutely amazing to watch perfect 10 🇬🇧 from me ❤️
How do they judge the first pass? A Moors that's tucked down or a Silivas that's not tucked enough? I hope by Tokyo she'll have it fully laidout, she certainly looks capable :). Congrats on the win 🏆

I was wondering that too. Do they deduct for thinking it was supposed to be a moors?
@Victor-ch6xp

It's for sure deducted as a loose tuck shape (don't know if it's a 0.100 or a 0.300 deduction, though most likely 0.100)

@@felityf1 haha! I remember in the 80's and 90's you can do stuff like this and the judges wouldn't really care. Gymnasts were doing pike-tuck doubles (on FX and BB) and pike-layout doubles (UB dismounts, etc) and it was interesting and unique. Now every little thing is a deduction.

Great choreography, great form, stick landings, nice tumbling. Very well rounded exercise.
I wish I had her confidence at sixteen. Extremely impressive young lady.
This floor routine! 😍
Jessica and Jenifer both used to come to the gymnasium that i currently train at, i have met them before lol
Her silivas it's SO HIGH and better than the moors of other gymnasts xd. I hope in the future she will upgraded the silivas for a moor (or possibly triple double), the double layout for a chuso, and front to full in.
As much as I love what Simone Biles has done. Her brand of gymnastics is difficulty and the expense of artistry. I much prefer floor routines like this, a wonderful mix of dance, difficulty and artistry.
I really think she can upgrade that silivas to a moors. she's already halfway there! I love the subtleties in her performance like the little moonwalk at 1:00 and the eyebrow raise at 0:40. what a debut!
Jessica and Jennifer have got it all - Elegant artistry, powerful tumbles, beautiful leaps. Their parents' genetics were a match made in heaven.
Super!
Bravo 👏 👍👏👏👏MashAllah bizim gizimiza 👍🙏Good luck 🍀
Stunning! Elegant, powerful and controlled. Definitely one to watch! But is it just me or is her first pass Moors in/Silivas out? 😂

Beautiful, ARTISTIC moves. Very enjoyable to watch. Such a rarity these days. Most have these jilted awkward arm movements that I wish they'd just take them out, turn off the music, and just do passes and turns.
She looks like Isabelle furham!!!

Can anybody explain the counted floor skills to me in general? it's ok to only have 3 passes?
@everythinggymnastics5535
