Friends say the young don't realize how lucky they are to have KZread and the Internet to show them how to do things . I tell them, us too we can use it we can make and do things, the people like you are showing us as well
For not being a body man that's some very good body work and dedication. This is a blood, sweat, and tears project. When it's done, you can look back at this project and be proud.
I like the idea of trying to use as much original metal. In my project I'm using as much as I can and patch in as needed. Not being a welder I am learning a lot of pacients and when I get overwhelmed or frustrated I go to something else.
I’ve been missing viewers projects. Good to see amateur progress again in keep it up Gene
Great job Gene, the Mustang is looking good.
That guy did a really nice job. That was a ton of work.
Gene is doing one heck of a nice job!
Looks like he is doing a fantastic job. Hope your recovery is going well.
Great work, Gene, on your Mustang! Barry, you heal up fast and take it easy these next several weeks.
Gene did a hell of a job on his mustang. Thumbs up man !! Barry...wish you speedy recovery ! Thanks man.
Barry, Gene is doing a great job on the car. Carry on Gene, an c-ya Monday nite Barry.😊
We hope you recover quickly. Really enjoyed Gene's Mustang. Glad to see you were able to get driver side rear quarter panel. Thanks for your videol
Your project is looking great! Keep at it...one bolt at a time. Lots of little wins add up to a finished product. I started a 65 Falcon project in September, 2023. Being a Falcon, I'm forced into using the original panels. Not much is available. Keep at it. You doing great.
Gene that is a great job and Barry thanks for posting this
Keep up the good work Gene! Thanks for the video.
Excellent work so far!
Fantastic work, Gene. Really good video. Love that you are keeping and fixing the original panels as you can. Totally inspirational. Keep up the amazing work you are doing. Thanks for bringing this to us, Barry.
It's about a four hour drive for me to go to CJ Pony Parts.. I've done it twice to save on shipping. That Mustang is coming along great. It will be a nice car when he is done.
Looking good!
Excellent effort !
Nice work!
Great project, Gene you've done an amazing job on the project, and your video work is also great. Do you have your own KZread channel? If not, I think you'd be great 😎👌 Thanks Barry for sharing on your channel.

Thank you. I do not have a channel but I appreciate the thought. Barry makes it look easy but I am not a natural in front of the camera. Who knows what the future brings though.
Did you ever think of using part of the original fender to repair the fitment of the aftermarket fender around the A pillar.

Unfortunately something I learned the hard way was never throw out anything even the stuff you don't plan to use. The fender that was on the car was so bad at the bottom that I threw it out. I do keep my eyes open for decent original fenders.
Where do you live in New York? I live in New York. I drive to Harrisburg PA and granted from where I live. It’s a good 6 1/2 hour drive but at least that way I get to pick my panels. I make sure that there’s no dents. There’s no damage to and I’m not paying shipping and it’s need to go in there and look around at the same time.
Really enjoyed your project Gene , great to see the progress keep up the good work , I can't wait to see it completed
