I'm ALL FOR ARRESTING CRIMINAL SCUM, but if a dude is actively running away from you he ISN'T a THREAT. Policing is a solemn responsibility, EVEN the most wayward of our society DESERVE to have their day in court. Should he have run? No. But law enforcement sometimes must protect people from the foolish decisions they make IF they can do so without jeopardizing their own lives or anyone else's. Let us not be quick to call down death on a suspect, if you measure out no sympathy to others do not be confused when in your moment of hardship NO ONE measures out sympathy to you. Only the dead have no hardships, every living person will one day experience misfortune - be careful about what you put out there. P.S. I'm not a liberal. I 100% am for gun ownership & the more training I get the more I am convinced that while I may have to take a life one day in self defense, I have a duty to value the lives of others.

Just because someone is running away doesn't mean he's not a threat. The suspect is consider a dangerous threat not only if he is endangering the officers life but the citizens life as well.

HE WAS NOT A BIGGER RISK THAN DIRTY ASS COPS LOL

There will always be a double standard. Please understand if someone tries to break into your home & they have a firearm & you confront them & chase them outside down the street while carrying your firearm & you shoot them in their back/head multiple times...you will be arrested for murder. The police will tell you they were no longer a threat to you. Known facts working in this line of work. They protect their own, so sad.

Officer Delky did yell for him to stop and drop the gun more than once. However, I do agree that there was no reason for the chase to begin with. There was no crime that Daniel Hambrick had committed.

Because he was armed! He may not have been pointing gun at the officer, but what if he had shot someone else, shot himself. That why the police officer shot him. Do I feel that he had to shoot him three times in the back , No!

It appears to me that Hambrick had tired, and could not run much further. Notice Delke gaining ground on Hambrick before he stops and shoots.

I believe Daniel was in the group...scared to be stopped by the police. And he was right!

I think this was too soon after her son's murder and too much for Mrs Hambrick. I don't know why her attorney thought this was a good idea.
