Excellent chef. I remember my childhood days... our maid granny cooks such a related type of sambar and I used to fill my tummy on those days with this sumptuous food. She is no more now. I wanted to know the recipe and here it is. I will try this after these many years. Hats off Chef.

I tired and it’s a huge hit. I make different variety of sambhars but this one I can’t get over it myself. The color the flavor it’s out of the world. My kids said yummy and literally drank the sambhar. I did tell them it’s from the cooku with comali chef’s recipe. Thanks a lot!!! We ate rice with sambhar and seppangizhangu roast.
The recipe is fantabulous. Anyways there are many who add music along with these type of long video. But you have a talent to hold your viewers engage until the video ends by sharing plenty of knowledge. Keep doing this and stay blessed ❤️

This was amazing recipe. I tried this and it was very tasty, really tasted like Kalayana samayal sambhar. Did it with carrot and vendakai. You explain it very well. Can't imagine I could do something like this ever. But your step by step guide made it happen.

But usually in salem we wont mangai kari. Manho is famous for salem so used the salem mangai kari. Delta side they add mango in sambar and fish curry etc
our long term demand Arachuvitta Sambar in (Y) our style....really super THALAIVAAAAAAAAAAAA............

3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon. As Sir said, 1 teaspoon holds ~5gm, 1 tablespoon would hold ~15 gm. Again, as he said, depends on the ingredients, it would hold 12-15gm.

Super Sir. En amma vandu eppadi panniruthathu. She was at Karaikudi during 1950-52. And returned to Trissur. After that she cooked this way. But not used Ghee. Thanku.

In my bachelorhood days during 1970s in Katni where there was no decent messing facilities I had to cook by trial and error methods as we had no internet and You Tube facilities, nevertheless I do cook based on your tips.
