Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018, and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018. The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1.
Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives.
The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War II. The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch. The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles". The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the popular Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. It is playable by 64 players, which are divided into up to 16 squads with a focus on team work.Firestorm is scheduled to be released in March 2019. - Wikipedia

Maneuvers.. Not tactics...Tactics is where you maneuver your aircraft And try to get the enemy to maneuver his aircraft into a mistake to your advantage..Battlefield will never give people a real setting of flaps, weight from fuel loads/weapons set in the respawn page Or that the Zero was faulty with - G diving (like the spitfire) and would lose power You can not "Boom and zoom" with a corsair in a battlefield map and only slightly in warthunder...Aside from the fact everyone is clustered with in 1 min of flying time away ..The real pilots had to fly for hours to find nothing or a swarm of enemy ..Open the map by double or triple ..spread the land targets out add in more options to flying each type of aircraft and its own unqiue features and failures Then you will have better aircraft game play Or everyone flying the OP aircraft

Simple maneuvers for an arcade flight model, presented for the common man. Splendid work! All I can really have a gripe with is NATO terminology used. Bogey means that the aircraft is not identified as friendly/enemy, and Bandit means that the aircraft is identified as hostile.

Yes. Nice remark ! I went to check in my old documents , because I got the same doubt ! Here it is (for Nato) : - Bogey : Unidentified acft - Bandit : An aircraft identified as enemy in accordance with theatre identification criteria (IdCrits). The term does not necessarily imply direction or authority to engage. (depends on "weapons hold" vs "weapons free" status and more broadly of the theater rules of engagement (RoEs)). - Outlaw : Bogey which is coming from redland or popped up on the radar on the side of the baddies. (usually) - Hostile : Bandit or Bogey who has commited a "Hostile act" or who has an "hostile intent" (depends on the theater , a classical "hostile intent" is : "bogey tries to evade interception and manoeuvers once or twice to reposition itself in a shooting posture". Or "bogey illuminates with his air-to-air radar" (in bvr it becomes a bit more complex))

i'm not an engineer or have any experience with planes but i think it's because of air pressure. when you are flying a plane, the pressure on the wings is already really high (i think) so by turning around really fast, you are adding even more pressure on the wings that it causes the flaps to break

@@ciromoriello7054 nah it's just air resistance, the force of countless air molecules smashing against the very much not aerodynamic extended flaps will try to push the flaps back into the wing. If you are going too fast, the air resistance might succeed and burst any hydraulics used in controlling the flap, turning it limp. Or the flap itself might face structural damage if the hydraulics managed to hold it in position, most likely the flap will rip apart or the hinge might simply fail and the full assembly falls off.

Under controls advanced highly recommend maxing out plane sensitivity to 150% Under regular controls my vehicle stick sensitivity is 25% also my vehicle fov under video is maxed out Pilot controls layout is default. Plane minimap zoom 420 Plane chase camera roll is personal preference i leave off im on xbox with elite controller Besides these tactics in video my 2cents is... Major rule of thumb always pull back on throttle when strafing ALSO remember that ur left analog isnt just for throttle up and down it can make ur plane go horizontal left or horizontal right by obviously moving analog left or right this can also help u turn faster in dogfights in addition to using right analog at the same time. Example.... If u bank right with right analog and then you hold left analog to the right u will turn so much faster. Make necessary throttle adjustments while dogfighting to if ur on a guys 6 dont get to close to him. Closer u r the less time u have to react to him attack at a medium range. Before shootin him.... if he doesnt know ur on his 6 line up perfectly to where u know ull do half damage or more to him before he tries to get away.... him having only half health or less and hes already used his emergency repair is a major advantage to you knowing you dont have to hit him much more and he has less time to try and evade u since hes so low start ur straf from a long distance(high altitude) away to give u the most amount of time to decide where u want to attack and to allow yourself to do the most amount of damage possible always be in first person... u can also zoom in while in 1st person just as if u were infanty i tend to be always zoomed in when strafing Since ur zoomed in targets seem closer and u can be as accurate as possible and hit ur targets when pulling out of a straf i switch to 3rd person know when someone is in AA just pay attention to flak in the air and ull know where hes at if u decide to take him out fly away come back for another pass in different airspace place and take fire at him. The hmgs and 20mm explosive rounds u have to get closer but with rockets or bombs u can take him at extreme range rockets being easier. Long as u hit him first he doesnt have enough time to take u out I stick with the 8 mini rockets since their effective against pockets of infanty and if u hit all 8 on a tank u do 80 damage if u hit him in the front or the sides if u hit him in the ass hes done for usually My other 2 cents is if u arent lined up perfectly to take a opponent out dont try to make it up if ur getting close to ground going for the kill isnt worth risking crashing just pull off and come back and try again. I cant tell u how many times i crashed in the beginning because i was trying to make up for my inaccurate placement and then ended up always risking crashing or being in panzerfaust piat or fliegerfaust range. Dont risk it just try again Lastly before u make the turn to run a ground strafe high in the air always look behind u while in 3rd person i believe u press right analog in Anything spotted on the map with the big icons give u a great idea where u need to place yourself. Do i wanna go for this big pocket of infanty or do i wanna take this tank down with my rockets?..... the icons show since there spotted wont always be there so ull have to memorize the infanty spots to search for them. Tanks if not spotted r easy to spot for the most part since their bigger and u can see their shells their putting downrange just like i said above start from high altitude then while in 1st person zoom in and search for that tank or infanty pocket When i attack a vehicle im always zoomed in if i have rockets equipped so i ensure i hit with all 8 rockets Bombs have the little circle all abouttiming with them Lastly if u can always help any wingman out if u see a plane on his six. . u dont have to take the plane down just get him off ur buddies 6. U can take him out long as u know the enemies wingman wont get on ur 6. Ur friendly most of the time will repay the favor if u get a guy on ur 6. I know theres so much but 1 more.... this pertains if infanty is NOT spotted right after a strafe if u took some guys out of a big pocket and theres some left when u switch to 3rd person and look behind u (pushin right analog in) u can mark an area just as if u were boots on the ground ...look behind u then press rb. It puts out the yellow marker giving u a reference point ...keep in mind i believe the marker lasts 10 secs or less if theres 3 guys or less left u can make quick 5 -6 sec climb then come in for a another shallow(not as high altitude) strafe and try to take out the rest that marker will obviously give u an idea of where u just killed the other guys. Its hard to do because that marker disappears quick. usually once i turn around i just see the marker for a second but thats what u want... means u got the most altitude possible giving u a better chance(more time) to clean up the rest of the 2-3 guys. This tip is all about timing.... takes practice timing it just right but when u do those other couple guys r toast Its Daytona 500 day

For real. The Zero is unmatched compared to the Corsair. You can kill and turn so much more quickly with it. Maybe that's why Dice is introducing the P-51 to help give U.S side better pilots.

That was a great video. Well organized with excellent visuals on what you're doing real time. I was in the Air Force for a few years and studied Oswald Boelke and the air campaigns of WWI and WWII. I'm currently a pilot for another organization so this all makes sense. I've flown a few warbirds and it's nice to see them in this game. I also took a couple of aerobatics classes in a 300 Extra and I've flown these maneuvers. Your aerial marksmanship is outstanding. I can shoot my whole loadout into a bandit and still not bring him down.

The only useful BFM is the pitchback because this game is extremely basic when it comes to energy management. Lag roll is useless as you can just pull the power back rather than rolling in this game and the effects are pretty immediate, and then you can get on the guy in front. This game is basic enough that dogfighting is about geometry of the flight paths and learning to cut inside/outside when you need to. Stalling is almost the only way to escape someone who's on your tail and even that can be countered by pulling up and then rolling around the stalled aircraft in a 'wingover' like fashion until you are coming right at him from 90 degrees off. Both this and the pitchback are the only complex manoeuvres anyone might actually have to use in BF5. And no I'm not a warthunder elitist.

I have nearly 600 hours experience of piloting and I was thinking about making a video to show how to use the maneuvers for dogfighting but my english speaking skill is like shit. Then finally someone did it for me. Very nice video man! BTW I was a very good fighter pilot. I'm at 12th on origin air leaderboard but I have to say dogfighting in BF5 is actually a bullshit. Stupid physic changes is ridiculous, buff-ed AA and fligerfaust can disturb at any time. It doesn't require too much skill and noobs can flying way too easily even when they are getting used to with it. That's why I left fighter for months and take the bomber instead and i'm feeling very satisfied which my choice. More infantry farming, kill AA tanks, no need to dogfight because it already has the back seat gunner which is very powerful if you know how to aim :D Check out my channel for more, lots of good plane stuffs are there!
