Thanks a ton! I've really been working through the A6M5 and it shreds but i cant stand how the HMG's overheat just before you get an aerial kill. ...... Might be tempted to use the cooling fins when I get there and see how that goes.

Ah finally a good plane guide regarding the new planes

I love how DICE consistently manages to get the plane variants the wrong way round. The Corsair 1C was the ground support version but in the game is the better dog fighter just like the Blenheim IF (heavy fighter) is a better bomber than the Blenheim I (bomber) variant

Glad I’m not the only one, though after needing your videos to help explain that AP rounds are sometime worse than HE against tanks I should know not to apply logic to this game anymore haha

Incendiary bombs and 20mm HE are the best specialisations for the A6M2 and the F4U-1A, for the other planes use the 6x lmg with manual supercharger and improved manoeuvrability. The rockets and gliding bombs are underwhelming and if you want to go to hell, there’s mines to drop on the enemy airstrip. If you use the Bikini Atoll skin you’re one hell of a pilot and want every AA, fliegerfaust, and enemy plane to see you. Great vid Azura as always 👍

I actually like the two big rockets, the white zero is a total beast! Maxed already, the speed boost helps out turn anybodys plane and the gunz are awesome.

Very good video, as always Azura! I'm almost done leveling up the 4 planes and pretty much agree with your choices in the specializations.

As someone who is only able to play about 6hrs a week (and mostly infantry), your vehicle spec tree vids are immensely helpful. Picking a spec side feels like a huge commitment when you don't play much, and your vids can help prevent regrettable choices - so long as I watch them first (I'm looking at you, chi-ha secondary cannon). Thanks for making these, keep it up!!

Darn, I kind of went a different direction when spec-ing out my planes. I wasn't sure which one was the fighter and bomber variants, so I made the 1A and M2 into an Anti-Infantry plane while making the 1C and M5 anti-vehicle. tank and plane. But now knowing, i'll have to wait to reset my specs to go with something similar you have.

For bomber variant go 4x lmgs. Engine upgrade then middle upgrade, incendiary bombs and flares and lest but not least the better manouverability. This is by far the best loadout. See my other comment to find out why

WAIT WHAT. You only have 6k subscribers. I thought it was 600k. Most underrated youtuber 2019

Since the update 6.2, we can see spots from the planes even we are far away and high altitudes, just shooting rocket canon on A6M zero 52 to the tiny spots from the outside of the range of the AA gun and fliegerfaust, we can get high kills. This morning I got 83k/0d on Wake Island with A6M zero 52!!!

For the bomber variant the engine upgrade is by far the best upgrade in the entire pacific. With this your plane is far far superior to planes that aren't using engine upgrade. Incendiary bombs and flares are more then enough to kill infantry and get massive scores. Your main concern will always be enemy fighters. With the 4x HE your plane is just inferior to fighter variant and people using engine upgrade. So an enemy pilot can completely shut you down. Engine upgrade is by far the best. Most experienced fighters are using it!

That is probably the most balanced loadout and not super specialized.

That comment by beceevoo at 1:43. Shows how much he knows about these planes.

The a6m5s 20 seems to have a pretty funny property when being used against infantry: it has a blast radius. This means that, with a great deal of skill, you can perform some pretty hilarious upside down ground attack runs.

Azura Productions i tried high alt nose dives. That gives you enough time to pull up after the attack. I mean it’s no a6m2 but it can work. Probably better off woth the bombs though

hey thanks for the video, would have been helpful if you had a picture of the specialisation tree on screen when you mentioned them, I don't have the game up in front of me nor do i play it enough to memorise all the names but just as some feedback

Nowadays (4 years later) it is the A6M5 and 1C Corsair that are the better ground pounders because you can just snipe with the rockets from high altitude while still destroying any enemy planes

In the Japanese team I use the heavy bomby and the mines then throw the bomb and mines on a tank so he gets hit, wants to drive away and BOOM! The attackers always get many tanks so I prefer stopping them first, that makes life much easier for my teammates on the ground

The 20 mm he and the incendiary bombs are a little op i think , i had a game 101 - 3 with only the 20 mm thats crazy xd

I am surprised you didn't speak about using the LMG upgrade on the bomber variant. That way it turns into a jack-of-all trades, that can deal with planes but be very effective against infantry (with incendiary bombs) or effective against both tanks and infantry (with normal bombs). Imo this is the best version since it gives you the most leverage when flying - you don't need to choose between planes to fight aircraft or infantry when loading up, you just have an all-purpose fighter that can deal with air and ground targets equally.

Yes, the angled gun for the airplane may seem bad. But I have it for my airplane n I do say it’s a very good attachment I win 85% of my dogfights. Even when they have engine boost or high altitude in their attachments. For my advice, I say it’s a must, then again everyone is different in dogfighting jus depends how good you are

The 6x 50 cal animation seems bugged. You cam only see 4 mgs firing on both planes. So i wonder if its just an animation glitch or are there only 4 actually firing? Anyone see a diffetence between using the base 4 and the 6mg upgrade?

How can he spot enemy infantry on the ground? When i fly i never see anything marked on the groung and i not getting any kills :(

@@nielywheely I disagree, while the 4x HE's are easy mode, the upgraded lmgs, especially on the zero are amazing at taking out infantry.

Spotting flares shall be for plane s vision only and not for all infant on the ground. You are sometimes spotted all the game that is awfull

Getting smoke screen gets rid of your quick repair so don't get it

everything good and all... but those things are just bad to fly... unresponisive controls thanks to dice... and other things... same goes to Dogfighting... if someone is behind you lost....

I dont know if its just me, but the Japanese planes feel stronger and more maneuverable than the U.S. planes.

Japanese Zeroes is realisticly More manueverable than the Corsair in Low speeds,But the Corsair has the advantage in speed and climb rate,it can outrun and outclimb the Zero in any situation.The Zero sacrifices its armor for agility unfortunately
