Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018, and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018. The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1.
Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives.
The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War II. The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch. The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles". The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the popular Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. It is playable by 64 players, which are divided into up to 16 squads with a focus on team work.Firestorm is scheduled to be released in March 2019. - Wikipedia

for the Tiger the Heat-T rounds can be VERY powerfull, it literally can 1-hit full-hp light tanks like the staghound and its also better than an AP round since Heat-T rounds do have a blast-radius, so its an AP and HE round all in one. because of this you can hit an enemy tank with AP power but also have the blast radius to might kill a person that is standing next to the enemy tank. (or you just shoot that person with your machine gun while your main cannon is reloading)

I am all for the HEAT-T for anti-tanking, but some people opt for the APCR round because of it's higher velocity, allowing them to "snipe" tanks from further distances.

it also depends a bit on your experience and playstyle, but i always prefer to have my tank ´balanced´. with that i mean its perfect for fighting against infantry aswell as tanks. allthough ive maxed all my tanks very quickly its still fascinating to watch your videos about the tanks, you are explaining some thing very good. if i was a beginner or a noob at controlling a tank, these videos could have really helped me, your videos are pretty underrated imo. good video!

Just recently got back into the game. I played from launch until 5.2 ruined the game. Was pleasantly surprised to learn earlier this year that most of those changes were reverted and have been having a great time. But the tanks are very different from the old days so ive been wishing you would make this video. Personally ive been loving the Stug on Panzerstorm with AP shells. They travel so flat it's insane. Only way to counter all these long barreled shermans. i kinda miss the old version of the map and using the Archer.

If you check the info before you unlock the shells it says for which targets it's best at. APCR are good for 2shotting tanks, especially light tanks and the other damages modules much easier.

Just noticed, the 120mm howitzer on the Type 97, it says that the normal damage jumps to 111... Though I'm assuming you meant to put 11 Don't know if anyone's pointed that out yet, but if not, there ya go! Also, AMAZING VIDEO DUDE, LOVE THE EFFORT YOU PUT INTO THIS!!! THIS LEGITIMATELY ROCKS!!!!

Real life and in game. The churchill was know for its climbing ability. It gave no s***s. And the armor between the tracks in the front is actually thicker than the tiger. But over a smaller area

Those are really good at clearing objectives
Standard ammo for infantry and lightly armored vehicles, HEAT for tanks if you got it.
For me(Axis) I use the Panzer 4 for infantry and the tiger for tanks.

I'm still mad at the historical inaccuracies that is very easy to spot but they did nothing 'bout it is Archer's reason why the engine is gun-forward not it's real forward. The Archer's gun is backward btw. so reverse is moving gun-forward.

According to your data, Type 2 Ka-Mi and Type 97 Chi-Ha Howitzer shell normal hit deals the highest damage of 111 in the game, imma change my loadout to that.

Little disappointing you didn’t mention the quad 50 cal upgrade for the greyhound. I use it as a infantry fighting vehicle but the armor piercing upgrade lets me harass tanks while I do donuts around them. Not always the best tactic but it’s fun

Tiger with HEAT shells. 2 direct frontal hits of Sherman tank and Tschüss (sometimes one rear hit of ShermAn). 1 direct frontal/rear hit of Greyhound and Kids shouting you are cheating.

Churchill crocodile is simply better in every way since it is a squad call in. You need to use every advantage you have, use cover, angle your tank...etc
why didn't BFV create a pure tank map such as Aberdeen in BF1942... I had so many great memories in Aberdeen

They do a ton of damage but it's very hard to get them on target, let alone all of them at once

Pretty much AP and Hesh are OP, some tanks are utterly garbage (Archer), and squad tanks are utterly broken.

HE rounds are meant for infantry because of its high blast radius but low armor piercing capability.
These days, I always use AA tank. If enemy pilots are dumb, sometimes I get the top score with AA tank. I love to destroy tiger tank by AA tank!
American faction is very disadvantaged by having only Sherman tank and LVT. Sherman in no match for Tiger of for fully upgraded Japanese tank with big gun.
