Battlefield 2042 is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is the seventeenth installment in the Battlefield series. The title is scheduled to be released on October 22, 2021 and October 15, 2021 for Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition(Early Access), for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S.
Gameplay
Similar to its predecessors, Battlefield 2042 is a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter. As the game is set in the near future, it features futuristic weapons and gadgets like deployable turrets and drones, as well as vehicles that players can commandeer. Players can now request a vehicle air-drop to any location. The game also introduces a new "Plus" system which allows players to customize their weapons on the spot. The class system was significantly overhauled. Players can select to assume control of a specialist who falls under the four traditional Battlefield gameplay classes of Assault, Engineer, Medic and Recon. These characters can wield all the weapons and gadgets players have unlocked. Each of them also have their own unique skills and gadgets. For instance, one of the specialists is equipped with a wingsuit, while another is equipped with a healing pistol. The game will launch with 10 specialists. Levolution and destructive environments from Battlefield 4 return in Battlefield 2042, and include extreme weather effects such as tornadoes and sandstorms which can lift players into a vortex and drastically reduce the visibility respectively.
The game features three main gameplay modes. "All-out warfare" encompasses "Breakthrough" and "Conquest", two staple modes of the series. In Conquest, two teams combat against each other in order to capture control points. Once control points in a sector is captured, the team will control said sector. In Breakthrough, one team must try to capture another team's control points, while another team must defend them. Both modes can be played with and against artificial intelligence. The PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X and Series S versions support 128 players, whereas the PS4 and Xbox One versions only support 64 players. Other modes included in the game include Hazard Zone, a cooperative multiplayer mode, and a third mode developed by DICE LA.

They should make the tank have a faster charge, turret rotation, and splash damage, and much lower velocity when not in siege mode. Basically an energy ball shell or something that is just a reskinned MPAT to make it actually more effective as an agressive tank that can actually help the team. Then make siege mode give you only 2 shells with a slow regen that takes about 15-20 seconds to get both shells back. They still hit armor hard but since there's only 2 you have to use them effectively. And because of how easy it is to hit air it should be nerfed down to 90 damage max to aircraft. That way people will have to be skillful enough to hit a follow up shot and they wont have the ammo for awhile to continuously farm air or tanks from spawn.

This is actually a very good idea. It is almost like the siege tank in star craft. Weak but fast firing cannon in non-siege mode and can do a charge up shot after siege mode with limited ammo and long reload time.

@@AzuraProductions I know I may sound like a nerd or something when I say this, but it's a RAILGUN. The railgun's whole claim to fame or whatever is having super fast muzzle velocity. But I do agree that it's unbalanced as it currently is and discourages objective play, but if you take away the muzzle velocity, it's really not much of railgun. Sorry if I sound rude or anything.
totally agree but honestly, even tanking with regular tank summarize to stay at distance of combat, because of autolock grenade, tv tgm, and easy use of m5 recoiless

True, but the M1 / T28 can be played much more aggressively and be able to actually push objectives with the team. This tank on the other hand, can't help itself up close.

The muzzle velocity is supposed to be fast since it's kind of like a gauss cannon. The description says it's a tank destroyer, and I think it fits the role pretty well. Once the enemy gets close, this tank is basically dead. I believe that a jeep with 30mm cannon can kill it up close

I love this tank, it's a load of fun to play, but unfortunately, it's not a team player, the tank is very selfish, I think it needs to be in its own category (never gonna happen) but if it did, it would allow the main mbt to be in the game, and the railgun tank wouldn't be a selfish pick

how are you supposed to get close when they sit in spawn all game, just like a mobile AA?
Finally a tank that acts as a real tank and not a plastic toy. And with the super OP anti tank missile the 84 that's no more then fair.

I agree. Well the 15 enemy T84 Liz rockets that are everywhere in breakthrough, the couple of flying squirrels with c5, stealth helicopters that bomb everyone and get to cover when they are vulnerable, and dozens of people with the recoilless rifle. But railgun tank is OP? :( I mean I guess it's like BFV when people who run and gun everywhere were complaining about MMGs. It's just counterplay taking into effect,like bf4's rock paper scissors balance system, but to a more exteme extent-

Its so fun to use! At least on My games, no one seems to be runnin recoiless or stingers to kill the annoying guy in the night bird. Its an excellent tool right until I have both enemy helis and the plane on My ass at the end of the match jaja

Just because there are OP elements of a game, doesn’t mean the answer to this should be to make OP counters in response. This leads to what someone else here put it as “extreme” gameplay where no one wins, because everything is Annoying against everything. The answer shouldn’t be to invent a vehicle like this in response to lis, Sundance, mackay, and stealth chopper. Instead, it should be to BALANCE lis, Sundance, mackay, and stealth chopper. This extreme polarization with 2042 counter play should be avoided, as extreme polarization should be avoided in all aspects of life. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind

There is a problem with the tank defenses, I equipped Thermal smoke and Auto defense system, they where never able to lock onto or shoot missiles directly because i had always the other available when one fail

Personally, i think its a great addition. I set up my main battle tanks to deal with infantry with HE shells and stuff and i set this up strictly for anti tank. The best feeling is putting those Condor and Super Hind abusers in their place with this
Clarification: whenever you charge you have a blue glance same as the sniper rifle glance when using high magnification

So if I where to shoot at blur glances like I normally do I have a 50/50 choice to annoy a tanker. Yes I'm joking
The problem is people see it as a tank when its not it is an artillery piece, as you said conquestvis where it shines, its like a mortar truck from bf1 sure its anoying as hell but its a necesary evil since it is a stop gap for certain situation, also remeber there are no mounted spawn guns (no spawn AA OR AT)

The mortar truck is arguably more useful since it can kill infantry (the bulk of the players) but it is a type of gameplay that most didn't enjoy because it still promoted camping for the user.

@@AzuraProductions yeah, that's why I specified its artillery not a mortar truck 2.0, however its very true that the most rewarding use is stationary (siege mode) however i don't think is as bad because as i said earlier that are no field guns in spawns(only bf3 portal maps have them) so i would consider this a last stand kind of vehicle

@@jekizjenkins7690 I agree yeah it is annoying to be killed by that tank but on the other hand it is doing its role nothing more nothing less and hell a group of lis can easily take out the tank with ease ive seen happened many times so I don't want to hear people say it is unkillable hell if they made it a stealth railgun tank then yeah it will be more op than it is right now.

I'm listening to all your ideas to balance the thing, but there's one key issue with the tank that you're forgetting about; gun depression. The TOR cannot aim down _at all_ to the sides and rear and the turret sits above the heads of infantry. Even if you nerf its ability at long range in exchange for some splash damage, people aren't going to push the objective with it because the tank is completely hopeless against close-in infantry. The issue is made even worse by the fact that it actually had a boosted damage zone on the back of the turret while in siege mode that lets the M5 kill the tank in just 2 shots with the first even knocking out the turret. You think it's OP because it's place is in the back, clearing out enemy vehicles but it's vulnerable from the back and from below, and easily countered by infantry and clever jet or heli pilots. It isn't meant to be up in the front clearing out an objective, it fills the same role as the Recon class but as a vehicle.
If it can delete choppers it automatically helps the PTFO of the rest of the team

There's a blue glow effect from its barrel when it's charging up, but it's not enough anyway
Firstly welcome back! But I do think that without data it is hard to argue this tank will promote camping overall. The tank itself might camp, but the lack of air support for the enemy team might increase objective play.

My argument is that it promotes the tanker to camp, not necessarily everyone else. You can argue that this tank is so OP against all the other vehicles that frees up infantry to play these maps almost as infantry only maps instead of needing to deal with enemy vehicles.

Any seasoned tanker can tell you that this tank is garbage as a tank. Only way to play it is to camp, up close its almost defenseless, as the video says. And if both sides get this tank, camp and delete each others air support, then that's not how the game should be designed.

I agree it's the perfect ignore the objective and snipe tank. I've been able to use it once to really influence an objective/side of the map on Stranded.

This... a vehicle used to support the team from afar. Just like the recon drone on an open field map during a mad rush. Sure you won't get kills but you're team will be happy they know where everyone is.

this vehicle shouldn't have been a tank, it should have been a slow moving wheeled vehicle that you deploy in order to fire.
It wont be a railgun if it has slow muzzle velocity. Better to give it a damage dropoff instead of a velocity nerf

Because it takes no skills to use in a game like BF. It should never be in the game but that's the only way to fix it other than nerfing the damage significantly. It is not supposed to be realistic.

Old bfs tanks had projectile drop and slower velocity. In very rare case someone dropped you from one main base to another.
It just needs limited ammo and an overhauled charging mechanic that lets you pre fire early for less power and velocity while a full charge gives the same effect as base. This charging should take additional time to reach full power and should be done passively. This also means that with the pull of the trigger the tank will fire instantly and the power of its round determined by the charge of its energy.
What if aircrafts get a hud glitch for a slightly warning from electro magnetic that pointing at them?
What people arent talking about is the sentinal, it's way OP. You put a couple of these next to a tank and you are pretty much immune to incoming fire.
If you get a punch of pulse snipers to hammer it relentlessly, you can kill it from a distance.
they should honestly give a warning to the target when charging up as well, like a "extreme heat signature detected" warning sort of thing
Hello, I don't know if you will happen to see this message, but I'm a returning BF player (played around 1k hours in bf4 and around 200 in bf1 when it came out). I just recently purchased bf5 and found your KZread channel which has been very helpful and entertaining to me. I wonder if there is any place or sheet that has all the final stats for vehicles. I saw your 5.2 update post, but it didn't include the Puma or Greyhound. Also, I wanted info such as muzzle velocity/ rpm, OHK area, etc. which I cannot find anywhere. I like this tank. I have never been bothered by the Tor, since both Tor usually are busy sniping themselves from a corner of the map or the other.

We needed a vehicle like this tbh, I've been playing since the 1942 and tbh this is a futuristic vehicle in the year 2042 that needed this touch. The Railgun has no range drop off either neither does the pistol. The tanks need buffed as well. This is a nice addition to the game.

You only need to get on top of it, or have a decent team to counter it. You get a heli right above and UNLESS your team helps you you are done since the tank has 0 anti infantry tools and your Y axis on the tank cannot go as high or as low as the other tank

You don't even need to get on top. It cannot aim down far enough on the sides to hit infantry unless it enters siege mode, at which point you've already plastered it with C5 or started dancing just out of reach with a repair tool. Hopping on top can actually be dangerous as well since when the tank isn't in siege mode it is actually a bit faster than the normal tanks and will roadkill anyone on top whenever it hits even a small bump at top speed, or if anything on the turret clips with you (such as if they deploy the APS while cruising) I've even managed to terminate a few people off the roof by squeezing the tank under bits of the environment (such as the ice arches on Breakaway) at high speed. If you see one in siege mode though, just get behind the turret, when those flaps on the turret are open you can shoot the exposed components inside for a massive damage boost.
I keep hearing it has gotten better, but I can still only find one server in portal, and mode select leaves me in a server alone or with just one person. US PC

I agrre with most points except that it does have a place in game and that is as a dedicated vehicle destroyer simular to the jets. When playing as a jet you literally can't play the objective but instead you destroy enemie choppers making the skies safe for your team. This tank does the same on the ground especially in breakthrough you can greatly help your team(when defending) by destroying enemie tanks and transport. With the limited gun elevation air vehicle are also basically safe as long as they fly high enough and don't just stay in on spot which they shouldn't anyway. On the new map for example the attackers have a lot of ground vehicles that can easily overrun the defenders.

Yes, definitely that's exactly its role and I do think that very specialized vehicle is essentially very boring when all you can do is to destroy a few vehicles on the other team. This makes it completely separated from the rest of the players. It's infantry against infantry, vehicles against vehicles and don't meet each other. IMO, the best gameplay would be to integrate all elements of vehicles and infantry and have all of them interact with each other.

Problem is, this tank clears both skies and ground.
I have an easy fix for railgun tank. Make it so that you cannot traverse the turret once your start charging up the shot, also make the projectile much smaller. This punishes hovering helos and makes the tank way less op imo.

They kind of already have that mechanic in there (extreme slow down during charging). But it is precisely that reason that makes it extremely bad in close quarter fights. I don't think we can change one thing to fix the tank in this state, it has to be completely redesigned from the ground up.

I have found a way to somewhat counter this tank. I was once on the map Valparaiso in the mud area by sector B, I was in an M1A5 and this guy in the rail gun tank was just stationary out in the open and was shooting at me. So I figured that I could just go in there shock and awe firing on him coming in at high speeds while he is still stationary, and when I got close I was driving around him in a circle and then just finished him off. What do u guys think of this tactic? It worked for me, but ofc it won’t work all the time, only in certain situations like this stationary dude.
We need a fast charging explosive splash shell for infantry that’s weak against vehicles. Also the turret slow down should only be in siege mode so you can roam around and pick off soldiers

How is it over powered? It does one hit helicopters like the artillery shell but you have to charge the shot If anything that time delay gives you're better understanding sound que tracking and Hand eye coordination
I've not tried it yet I'm only on rank 18 of season pass. I do think you're probably right though I just really want to try it because it's a rail gun tank and that's pretty awesome. I'm sure the novelty will wear off lol

Yes, it was really fun the first few rounds and then it becomes extremely boring. (unless your preferred play style is to camp on a hill all game not moving)

@@AzuraProductions nah my favourite bf5 tanks were the 38t, staghound, valentine 8 and panzer 4 in that order. I love aggressive vehicle gameplay and despite enjoying 2042 overall one of my biggest disappointments in this game is the removal of things like armour angling and vehicle variety. I started using tanks back in bf4 and that game would punish any armour camping with a parachute and c4 every time lol

@@damienmcdonald7610 Mine is a Sturmtiger yeah you have to get points but it is very rewarding and satisfying one shoting almost everything. Like it is balanced a little bit with the type of damage to be done to the enemy team but you don't have a turret that can do a 360 turn and it is slow but have tough armor.

@@swector_unit4257 it's a great tank and loads of fun too. The Churchill crocodile is objectively better since it has a 360° turret as well as stronger armour. But there is just no arguing with how much fun the main cannon or the Sturm is especially if you have a mate on those grenade launcher seats too
how about emp grenade on the gunner seat? which ammo for this tank you prefer?

The railgun tank instantly has a love/hate relationship, I haven't used it yet but I've died to it. And the question is, how is it considered fair? This tank basically ruins the experience of flying helicopters and jets because the tank can just one shot them without warning, it makes it hard to use and grind them. It looks cool and sounds cool when it charges. I think it needs a nerf, like either add drop or lower the velocity, because it's impossible to dodge it.

if they would fix the SPAWN SYSTEM, like it used to be in BF2, 3 & 4 you wouldnt have this issue of getting wiped before you even can fight against a TOR.
Firstly, you must understand the basics of rail charge technology vs bullet shell casing velocity, a highly concentrated rail charge directed for any specific target is gonna be 100 times faster than sized bullet round in any war time situation. there's no weight to ratio in travel and no pitch and yaw to calculate for weight travel of bullet. its an instant charge that travels through a highly advanced guided inferred light laser to its target. this exact technology in nowhere near what it displays in BF2042 but its pretty damn close. by 40 to 70 year time this rail gun tank will be and scary and accurate and its BF2042 counterpart. I suggest by then if you enlist in the military you might want to be in one of these tanks - it will change the battlefield significantly
I agree with everything you said. In Breakthrough, it just camps and is useless in helping the attackers.
a rail guns projectile is just solid metal no explosive filler i think the thing that would make most sense is to add a “over penetration” mechanic sense the projectile is extremely fast but it’s made to hit armor

Helicopter mains are in for a rough time.
As someone who primarily plays conquest mode, I have a bit of bias towards that style of gameplay. In my opinion, the railgun tank is a decent fit for this game mode. Although it's more suited for sniping and less focused on capturing objectives, I believe it's still helpful in aiding your team's efforts by taking out enemy vehicles and aircraft. In fact, this can be a game-changer, as it opens up opportunities for your team to capture objectives. One significant advantage of the railgun tank is its ability to shoot down helicopters. This comes in handy when the opposing team has a skilled heli pilot who constantly dodges AA missiles by hiding behind obstacles. Therefore, the railgun is an excellent choice for taking out such a player. However, I do think the armor level of the railgun should be lowered. Perhaps it could be similar to that of the brawler, which is less heavily armored than traditional tanks. In this way, it would be at a disadvantage when facing off against classic tanks or other anti armor weapons.

I think this tank is fine for the specific function its fulfilling, but I also agree it should have something more to encourage you to push with the infantries or at least make you want to be in a more risky but better position to do your job. If somebody tag and spots this tank its job is over, players just need to suppress fire and it needs to back off. Not to mention the time you are not firing and being useless is the time enemies heli, plane, tanks, infantry use pressure your team. It only takes one person from the sky to blow up this nail firing tank after all.
add a chance of overpenitration with it against softer targets. If it overpens then not alot of damage is delt

I want to say that's good idea and is realistic but I also seen what a railgun like weapon does and trust me when I say this. Overpenning is common and the results are the same. It will destroy anything in its path or even remotely near it.
It’s good to have something to combat chopper players that just farm players.
If you kill fast enough in brew though it could be useful but I agree it’s a camper tanker’s dream
people will inevitably camp on a hill with this tank, no matter how much incentive you give them to move closer. People did that with tanks before

I think that's more of a skill thing too though a lot of people don't know how to play a tank aggressively but this tank seems largely incapable of aggressive play which is the issue
Its not a MBT, Its specifically for anti-armor, theres nothing wrong with having a vehicle with a niche it accels at. If you want a meat shield to push objectives with, play the MBT
Ah yes turn the new tank into the same as the old and not have verity in a game that’s already lacking it. The Railgun tank is supposed to be a vehicle killer while the regular tank is more capable to take on infantry.
Though I agree to an extent, it’s not a super great offensive tank. I find it’s op on defense for breakthrough, you just find a nice overlook on an obj and you can bring down anything that comes your way

It is not great at offensive at all. It is great at defense / camping style gameplay far from the action.
does anyone know how a railgun works lol the round it shoots does not have splash damage its a solid projectile

Slowing the projektile down would be a bit unrealistic, also the increase in splash damage. An railgun shell dosent work like an normal tank shell, it basicly just an mettal dart wich gets shoot whit very high speed because of that it has basicly no splash damage and an huge amount of amor penetration. Because of that making it slower would be a bit unrealistic because thats what is the special thing about an railgun. And i also think its a bit more realistic(but not more fun) that the tank is very campy because thats what tanks are desingnt for. Not rushing into the objective but picking off other tanks or other targets from far away.
If i was to balance this vehicle, i would reduce the HP as its literally a light tank with a railgun.For the sake of game balancing i would reduce the effective damage over range as even railguns in real life lose velocity over range. I would make the tank also recoil much more after each shot so the user has to take more time to adjust for follow up shots. I dont think it should be given Splash damage unless the rate of fire or charge up time is nerfed
How about not spawning helis in the middle of the sky but on the ground behind some cover like it's always been? I swear to god these devs make the stupidest changes

My opinion on this is that it’s a RAILGUN tank so the way it is would be the way it would act in IRL and that is absolutely fine if you have a issue with it then they should just nerf the armour in it so it dies quicker which it already has plus a lot of you don’t realise this tank is meant to be a TANK DESTROYER 😂 hence why siege mode is there

The tank is already plenty squishy. Get behind the turret while it's in siege mode and you can shoot those vents on the back of the turret to deal massive damage. The tank also cannot aim downwards anywhere except straight forwards which leaves it extremely vulnerable to flankers, even the gunner turret cannot aim down far enough to stop people hitting you with the repair tool. It's really a case of it seeming OP because no one wants to go out of their way to deal with the tank. I clear them out using jets and radar missiles, just get above the tank's gun elevation and dumbfire the missiles into the turret between bursts of 30mm fire, takes 2 passes at most but often kills the tank on the first pass.

The easiest way to fix the railguns in the game is just giving it a charge up. Make it take a while per shot. The trade off becomes burst dmg vs consistent dmg. Maybe have them have less ammo and take a while longer to reload

The charge up is already there, it is precisely the reason (in addition to the turret slow down during charge up) why it is useless close range.

@Azura it needs to be a bit longer then and maybe make an audible sound while charging and glow for visual identification. Also during charge up aiming gets harder if you want to change your aim from where you started the charge up
The most OP tank in battlefield history is in BF4 early days. You could of used AP or HE shells as the primary weapon and instead of using a coaxial machine as a secondary u could of used canister or Staff shell. You could of fire your primary shell then switch instantly to the secondary shell without any delay and instantly switch back to AP shell and keep spamming it. DICE was quick to patch this
Just take away the counter measures. If you nerf everything that makes it a rail gun then there is no point of having it. Make the siege mode 0 movement instead of slow movement. People seem to not want team play to be a part of this game and forget that a good squad of AT players will make tank players hate their existence.

Feels like this typical comments from streamers that first tier1 stuff then wants it nerf so everybody else get a hard time doing Tier1.

I barely have anything Tier1. I do not plan on using this tank anymore than I need to so probably will never Tier 1 this tank. And I don't actually want this tank nerfed, I want it completely redesigned.

@@AzuraProductions have you tried it on breakthrough on Spearhead map as attacker? If the defending team is somehow keen on winning you get destroyed in seconds - defending team must take out vehicles asap or there will only be defeat and withdrawal

If you want to be more aggressive just be for armor and then an automatic light laser that’s a one or two Hit kills And then make some maps for it or some game mode And then and energy canon for the infantry
Its the perfect tank to sit down and evaporate things from existance, wich sounds really good irl but not in battlefield 😭
I’m sure people with jets take u down all the time, I just shoot at the tank with my mg and agm rockets then pull up instantly above the tank where it can’t aim any higher and wait to do another run and boom the tank is gone

Yes you can do that, but the tank also had APS and AGM doesn't have enough DPS to kill it especially if I get out to repair between attacks (which I can because I am camping far from action that nobody is going to kill me lol)

@@dova238 you must have killed newbie tankers then, I have had T1 Jet players target me in this tank already and they would make a pass drop a missile, I smoke, they come make another pass, I aps, jet has no more AGM. By the time the jet has both agm back I have my aps and smoke back. Either that or the my jet player splashes the other because he was focused on me.

I’ll have to disagree with the anti-ptfo sentiment, as an armor enjoyer this new tank has been the best ptfo tank I’ve ever used and has given the teams in the matches I play of this game near guaranteed victory.
They should add a gunner to be on the other tank like bfV and bf1. The tank with rail gun should be nerfed a little
This thing is op on breakaway, if your on the American team, you can park yourself near A1 and hold the bottleneck where all Russian tanks spawn, if your on the RU team you can sit on top of E sector and rain hell on anything, it’s obnoxious to deal with and usually a attack heli is the only effective way to deal with it
You did to well of a job of showing how op it is at range. Ide agree with some restructuring of the vehicle all together and have it mote like a truck with the se weapon. Having it not classified as a tank but more of a silo truck modernised with rail gun. This would alot fornthe driver and passenger to be shootsble through the glass. The vehicle would have to stabilise in order to operate the main rail gun. Alowing for mabe 2 mid tear personal mounted weapons would be a good option.
Nah... The thing is even if you look at most railgun technologies today. Its mostly stationary and takes a while to charge up. Its a good thing that this tank has its mobility and aiming nerfed when shooting. I personally don't see a problem with it. If you have a good team you can easily take these out. Also if pilots are clever they can focus and destroy these quite quickly instead of pilot hopping and farming infantry. You could see this in the video. What they should do is introduce a 5-8 second delay when switching seats in a vehicle to keep people from pilot hopping.
It is a RAILGUN they aren't meant for fast moving engagements.....
it destroys helicopters and will make pilots cry, so it's gonna be nerfed for sure, can't have the protected sky cancers have it hard.

With jets in an additional category the helicopters are done for anyway. All you need is a decent pilot on your team an the choppers can't do anything.

Helicopters are rarely a problem in this game 1 Lis player or someone using a Tow and they are sent right back to deployment screen. This is just another weapon of many that is very easy to counter aircraft

They need to put mortars and mobile rockets launcher that will be interesting.
This tank is so stupid that I love it... Going rounds 40-0 while sniping all vehicles from spawn with the occasional c5 parachute trying to get you is so much fun 👌 But not for anyone else though 👌

I think that all tanks are anti PTFO vehicles in 2042. They are slow + going near a building is almost always a death sentence. Bf4 tanks are what 2042 tanks should have been
I've been shot down in spawn about 2 seconds after I spawned in a chopper. But I don't have a problem with this tank if it takes out OP choppers like the nightbird and stealth chopper. I'm not a pro chopper pilot but I've gotten 100 kills in a round with the stealth a couple of times, I've seen pro players do it regularly and its bad for the game as the other players hate it. You put a pro player in the nightbird and they are pretty much unstopable, I've gotten lucky sometimes with the guided missiles but you need luck to take those people down.

This is the problem with 2042 where it's just cheese that has cheese added to attempt balance it in a throwaway manner, along with the feel of the game that just feels like a BF/Warzone/CoD MP/Apex/R6S mashup that doesn't really do any experience very well. I mean you mention PTFO is what DICE has wanted but aside from BFV most BFs since BF3 have focused away from wider gameplay mechanics and focusing on flashy "BF Moments" that heavily emphasis the player themselves.

@@AzuraProductions I think "Live Service" approach to BF quasi does not work because BF games are often are rushed out and then it's encouraged in a bad way to introduce "something new to the meta" rather than developing everything from the ground up to work in tandem. Personally I wish they went back with the BF2 approach where everything is balanced with a counter and such. Reminds me of the BF video retrospective of how vehicles worked in that game, attack helo beats tank, mobile aa beats attack helo, tank beats attack helo etc.
After watching this video I can say that I don’t think the tank is OP. It’s great at camping, but there is a lot of things that can easily cancel it. But if anything it’s no help to the team. I’d rather use the normal tank unless I’m hunting vehicles.
It really isn't op. It has the same amount of armor as the MBTs, its main gun has a charge up time, and ammo comes back very slowly compared to the MBTs. It's also super slow in siege mode so it makes it an easier target and when it's not in siege mode it main gun doesn't charge as fast. Speaking of which, while its main gun is charging its pretty much locked in a position until it is fired or you let go of the trigger.
This tank ain't OP bro, it just fills a strictly anti-vehicle role and can easily be checked by pilots that respect what they're up against.
Welcome back! I'm happy becouse tanker can finally have theyre revenge on helys, ahah, I'm joking. This is not the way to balance a game, we need only more mobile mbt, faster turret sped and a bit of tools to deal with incoming fire, not a tank like this
