Here in the Philippines where Jollibee originated: 1. We have no chicken tendons 2. Chickey Joy is smaller 3. Spaghetti's sauce is too little, it don't even cover for the whole pasta and there's no way we can dunk the chicken on it because then there won't be enough sauce for the pasta 4. Lastly, no adobo rice here! A native famous dish in the Philippines. Such a shame... Disappointing

I'm deeply saddened that the peach mango pies sold here in the PH are getting smaller and smaller in portions. It used to be as big as the ones being sold in the US but now it's reduced to about half the size now. Also, where's the Jollibee gravy?!

@@RGDPMD no please don't say that. When they changed the original recipe of the tuna pie, I was so sad. I used to wait for Lent every year and buy 5 pcs a day until they were gone again. Then they made them into a regular menu item and the recipe changed. It's still great, don't get me wrong, but the original tuna pie was... way creamier, way way way creamier.

Hi I am a Filipino and I've seen this menu to be a bit weird because the menus are totally different and more Americanized than here in the Philippines. In Philippines, we also has a side called pancit palabok, which has some orange sauced noodles. We don't have any Chicken Tenders, but its so very sad to see that you guys didn't try the real signature burger of Jollibee, which is the Champ, which the Burger patty is triple the times bigger than the Yumburger with Lettuce cheese and tomato alongside with special sauce. The Peach mango pie that shown here has its other variations like the Tuna Pie and the Ube Pie, which I think varies through season. Even though the Chicken sandwich in Jollibee here was new to our menu, we love it though

Jollibee came to the conclusion that you can probably get the adobo rice from your neighbor/relative, your last night's dinner, or 10 different carenderia's on your way to school or work. Your school/work canteen most likely have it as well.

watching Joe lipse those peach mango pies made me happy cause those are underrated as hell here in Philippines, and tbh I feel like if the Sidemen are gonna react to another Food Wars video, it should be this.

I work by a Jollibee inside a seafood city in Irvine, CA. I go there once every month and order the same thing. 2 pc chicken with spaghetti and that pineapple drink. Best fast food imo

So it turns out I wasn’t supposed to DIP the chicken in the spaghetti, just to eat them one after the other. I stand by my decision.

omg i love the rice wrapped up like a burger! i was outside the airport in manila once and had breakfast in a nearby kfc and they did up the rice exactly the same and it was so CUUUUTE!!!!!! also its a crime that they dont serve halo-halo in the uk, it's like one of the most iconic filipino desserts ever, and idc that im not a fan, the uk must have the full expereince

In the Philippines, Jollibee sells tiny portions to people who don't bother complaining at the same price. The smaller piece is a drumstick, no thigh. Sometimes they would sneakily put it in take-home orders so people cannot complain.

I'm glad that Food Insider has featured Jollibee finally on their Food Wars episode. I think Joe and Harry aren't really doing taste test here, they are simply just craving for Jollibee.

My college was littered with Jollibee wrappers, they are sooo good in California. The Adobo rice was a lifesaver in uni for sustenance

Jollibee here in Philippines offers smaller size of peach mango pie. My favorite is their Lenten season exclusive, Tuna pie. I have never seen a chicken tenders.

Glad Joe loves the mango peach pies, here in the Philippines we have other varieties of pies. Such as... Ube pie (sweet purple yam filled pie), Buko Pandan pie (coconut cream filled pie) We even have breakfast and savory pies, such as Bacon cheese filled pie, the cornbeef pie, and the spicy tuna pie.

But also much smaller. The only reason all that would be under $50 is that we wouldn't be able to afford above $50. Jollibee is already having trouble with the fact that most Filipinos can only afford fast food once a month, plus the rising prices of chicken and such. If they raise the prices too high, no one would come and they wouldn't profit lol.

Heres a tip i use, put gravy on the adobo rice, the rice, a bit on a burger, or fries! You will not regret doing it.

I'm sure a huge part of it is that the US Jollibee is specifically targeting filipino communities and acting as an overall ambassador for filipino culture altogether, so they get to have stuff like Halo Halo or Adobo Rice. While in the Philippines itself, it's strategy is more as the McDonald's killer.

Being in both Jolibees from UK, USA, and including Philippines, I really see a lot of added menus and one of them from the UK is my favorite thing to order being the sriracha chicken loaded fries.

If you ever get a chicken at Jollibee, be sure to dunk it in the brown gravy they will give you. A lot of people mistake the gravy for the fries, but no, it's for the chicken! Idk if they give extras over there but in the Philippines, gravy is a free refill, so we usually just douse our chicken with it.

@@malikthemadman lets be honest, i would never be satisficed with i single piece of chicken for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and as many other ppl I know wouldn't be either.

I love how the American guy goes like "It's so packed" when he shows the rice cup, like, man that rice bowl looks so small. As a Fil, that cup of rice is just 3-5 scoops before it's gone, and we wouldn't even be satisfied enough. Rice ain't just a side dish. It's what we live for lol.

I’m Filipino and it’s the first time I’ve heard about dunking the chicken into the spaghetti sauce. I will never try it though 😂

We, here in the Philippines (where Jollibee came from )only have gravy for sauce.

UK Jollibee: JOLLY US Jollibee: Good Mythical Morning

I was so surprised when Joe said 1piece was a joke cause there are people that haven't tried the tenders from joliebees and just want to try them

jollibee in uk now has the hotdog the spaghetti the spicy chicken burger and mango peach pie

I've been to both the Jolliebee in the Philippines and in the US and I actually prefer the ones in the US! Wider variety on the menu, bigger portions, more meat in their spaghetti and I think the food tastes better too. I used to live in NYC and there was a Jolliebee that was close enough for me to go to, but now that I'm in a different state, the closest one is THREE HOURS away by car. So I wrote to the Jolliebee corporation and begged them to at least set up a restaurant in the closest city to where I live. They said they'll consider it but that was a few years back and before pandemic happened. I really miss Jolliebee!

It’s probably a franchise so it’s up to some normal person to decide to open one because headquarters dont really take care of this stuff.

Harry and Joe may be the face of this series but i I'll just thank the editor of this series who's doing a great work

tip for the Halo Halo, mix all the ingredients so that you can scoop up lots of different ingredients per spoonful.

Here in the Philippines they still have the breakfast stuff and we also have ube pies and many more

It’s not just the fact that they have a much better portion size of the meals that baffles me but the chicken tender?!?! I don’t even remember the Jollibee here in the Philippines having chicken tenders.

Here in the Philippines the country where I live and as a Flipino we don't have chicken tenders as shown in the video as well as rice bowls, but we do have a big burger called The Champ.

It still surprises me to see some stuff foreign Jollibee’s have that the ones in the Philippines don’t. Like why isn’t there a proper halo-halo in the Jollibee’s here? All we got was a sundae with halo-halo toppings at one point. We used to have chicken burgers from them here, but they apparently weren’t popular enough to last in the Philippines. Never heard of dipping the Chickenjoy into the spaghetti like that before until this video. The closest to that I’ve experienced is the chicken piece accidentally rolling into the spaghetti on occasion. Sounds like a neat idea though. Also is it me or does the cheese on spaghetti in foreign Jollibee’s melt better than the ones in the Philippines? A nice informative video overall.

@TF Fan Artist If both Jollibee owned restaurant chains like Chowking and Mang Inasal can both have halo-halo, why can’t Jollibee too? I’m still curious to try the foreign Jollibee halo-halo out, as the shaved ice consistency looks different from the ones from Chowking. Reminds me a bit of Kuya J’s halo-halo.
