Alot of thought and experience has gone into this system.The excellent transparency of the LS50’sand there sizing will ensure future compatibility it will be easy and interesting to compare Auro3D DTS Neo and Atmos ( latent suggestion!!) Another excellent video much appreciated.

Holy sheets that probably has the most imaging and soundstage of any movie theater

Wow, Terry! Your home system has come out amazingly! It’s so nice to see someone take the time to do things correctly. I can only imagine how painful it was to put screw holes in a few of your LS50’s! Oof! I’ve got a couple huge thick black curtains in my listening room over a large glass door, and you know how much a large piece of glass can F up the overall sound. I just got a copy of Paul McGowan’s book a couple and the audio book days ago too. I figure it’d be fun to read along with the book while he reads it with his own inflection. I figure I’ll just run it through my main system, so Paul’s voice will never have sounded so good. Lol Another great vid, Terry! Your edits are flawless! Thanks for taking the time. the sign is a bit of a joke item even though it cost me £50 to have made :) But I am also hoping anyone who visits who is tall is then mindful as they enter my black dungeon as the surround speaker is right behind the door entrance and I hope it stays unscathed. Quick way to end a friendship knock a mans LS50 onto the deck... haha Cheers for the kind comments all the best

I’m already taking it very seriously. Lol Have you happened to have heard the LS50 wireless spkrs? Personally, I’m very much a purist, and need quality spkr cables. I don’t trust wireless, but I’d still love to A/B both types. www.needledoctor.com/KEF-LS50-Wireless-Music-System

PS Konig and Muller are based in the lovely Westphalian town of Guttersloh ,and started life making Microphone stands for NWDR ,as it then was and Polydor Hamburg,great quality

Nice job Tel, looking forward to seeing and hearing more. Heard you mention the Feizlink cables in your previous vlog so I went ahead a purchased 2 x 2m and a single 5m. I’m currently in the middle of doing up the living room so these will replace existing custom made cables that’s going on 10 years.

Hi Darren its only the 5 metre and longer cables that are fibre optic based otherwise they are just standard copper it's not clear that is the case. As a result I am using a 5m cable where I would normally use a 1m if that makes sense

Pursuit Perfect System Yes mate. The 2m lengths weren’t that expensive to be fair. I’m hoping then 5m more up to date cable will resolve a few connectivity issues I’ve been having since upgrading my older Samsung LCD to an LG 4K LED.

possibly check the spec for the size and weight. Pretty sure the wireless is a similar size to the normal LS50 so there is a good chance they will but I havent tried them to know for sure. They are good brackets though with a high weight rating for the low cost

Fibre optics are good over long distance and for their ability to repel interference from electromagnetic / electric appliances ect. ‘RAM Mounts’ would have been perfect for the ceiling, no matter, you have it sorted now. I can hear the difference in your cinema, I can hear the sound treatment at work via how you sound with your mic vs other times in other rooms

That is what I meant its hard to choose - I enjoyed Sicario but I didn't watch it on my main setup to know what its like on that. Not sure it would be top 5 that is punchy

CABLE-LS50

LS50 would be waisted as an Atmos speaker i think, obviously, if you have access to 10s of them yes why not but to buy LS50 would be waist?

Its not wasted because having the exact same speaker for surround at atmos duties helps the sound field to completely blend together, It doesn't get much better than an LS50 for a atmos speaker think about it :) It was a bitch fitting them though

Pursuit Perfect System I completely understand what you are saying , my point is I’ve tried disconnecting all speakers but atmos to see how much Atmos is playing , and to be honest currently Atmos speakers do not a lot of native content to play , mostly some special effects and background , compared to surround speakers I would say it’s 70/30 % ratio. But things might change as Atmos will be used but I still think putting hi end speakers like LS is bit of waist IMO, thanks
