"Troy passed away in 1997 without ever finding Pat. However, she was located alive and safe, living in San Francisco, California in August of 2004, thirty-three years after she disappeared. She had lost several parts of her memory due to another stroke that occurred after she vanished, but when found she still recognized and remembered her two sisters, Barbara and Mary Ann. In October, she was reunited with them and her children. Pat's family reports that she is safe and living with them, and has not wandered off since. Sadly, Mary Ann passed away in 2005, only a year after their reunion."

Olivia Bordley portraying REAL people since these events already happened. Actors are used, to portray the “younger version“ of the people who are “currently“ being interviewed about a particular event that happened, @ that time, in their lives - to help us ( the audience ) get a better “vision” . Maybe by seeing it again, “the visual” may spark some memory in someone who was there, or heard stories, didn’t think anything about it, but now realize that wasn’t just a “rumor” they heard...or “I remember seeing an incident like that”...just sayin😏😁

@jeans423 That's just not the case for the vast majority of women. Statistically - Most work outside the home because 2 incomes are needed - and women are also responsible for most of the work at home. And using your own statistics, 70% of divorces are filed by women. The number one reason cited is that their spouses refuse to share the work, and it has become irreconcilable. The number two reason is controlling or abusive behavior by their partner. The only time women get alimony after a divorce is if they gave up their career prospects to take care of the home and raise kids. It's unpaid labor - and a BIG risk.

BANFF - The man who stabbed and murdered Banff cab driver Lucie Turmel in 1990 has had his full parole revoked by the Parole Board of Canada. Following the November hearing, parole board members had concerns with a string of incidents that led them to believe Ryan Jason Love, 51, once again posed a risk to the community. “The CSC recommends that your parole be revoked, and is of the opinion that your risk in the community became unmanageable. They emphasize their inability to accurately assess and manage your risk due to your risky behaviour and your dishonesty,” the board’s decision states. Love was charged and ultimately convicted for robbing Turmel for her earnings of $130 that night, stabbing her 17 times and stealing her taxi, which was later located a few kilometres away from the crime scene. She was 23. At the time, Love worked as a housekeeper at the Banff Springs Hotel and was 18. He had moved to Banff with friends after dropping out of high school. The case went unsolved for about two years until a tip led police to charge Love. He received a life sentence in June 1994 for second-degree murder - the bulk of which was at the William Head Institution in British Columbia. At the time, the parole eligibility was set at 20 years. He received day parole in 2011 to a community residential facility and full parole in 2012, with conditions to avoid drugs and alcohol, undergo psychological counselling and have no contact with Turmel’s family. “Judge’s comments on file described the murder offence as brutal and insensitive,” the parole board decision wrote. “They highlight the victim’s vulnerability, her young age, and the impact on her family and local community. Your young age at the time of the offence was the only mitigating factor noted.” “The grieving parents express the horrific shock of learning that their child had been murdered. They describe the life-changing trauma from this event on family members and the impact on their small community.” The board’s decision stated from 2012 to 2019, there were no parole concerns, and ultimately, the condition to attend psychological counselling was removed in October 2019. In May 2020, Love began a relationship with a woman with whom his parole officer and family members found “to be negative and unhealthy” and led to frequent arguments and conflicts. It included paramedics being called and Love’s girlfriend at the time needing medical attention after he pushed her and she injured her knee. Ultimately, his parole officer told him to have no more contact with her. “You went against this direction and continued to see this person,” it noted in the board’s decision. “The board found that (despite programming on violence, and a long time to reflect and learn from this incident) you continue to view yourself as the victim." The two continued to see one another and Love was charged with mischief on Jan. 3, 2021, when he smashed multiple windows on her vehicle with a baseball bat. Love pleaded guilty and served a 30-day sentence, with a March 2021 parole hearing leading to a written reprimand and requiring him to take part in mental health counselling, report and relationships with women and avoid his ex-girlfriend. A new parole officer took over Love’s case in 2021, and it was then learned he helped his former girlfriend evade police contact in 2020. “He reported that you tend to withhold pertinent information, probing questions are needed when interviewing you and your ‘stories’ change. He said it was difficult to trust what you reported. He also expressed concern about your lack of effort in community programming,” the board’s decision stated. On Aug. 22, 2022, Love was pulled over by police in a “high-risk downtown area” of an unnamed city with a drunk woman. Love told police they were out for a drive because the summer heat was making it hard to sleep and a male friend had asked him to pick up the woman who needed a ride home. “Your parole officer noted that your cell phone history did not match this story and noted that you had a much closer connection with this “acquaintance” than you implied,” states the decision. “Upon further questioning, you said you had been at his residence when he had asked you to pick up the female. You said you lied about this because you knew he was a negative associate.” Warrants were then issued for Love’s apprehension. In a following interview with his parole officer, Love said the woman was “from the wrong side of the tracks” and that the parole officer had “no confidence” in Love’s version of events because he frequently changed his story. Love’s parole officer recommended his full parole be revoked because he was becoming “increasingly difficult to manage because of your dishonesty and breached conditions.” The board expressed disappointment in Love’s decision-making and his ability to take responsibility for his actions. “You did not seem to appreciate the importance of a trusting working relationship with your new parole officer. … You told the board that you disagree with CSC reports that say you had returned to your crime cycle. The board finds that your decision-making and behaviour leading up to the current suspension was consistent with your crime cycle. “You associated with negative peers, placed yourself in high-risk situations, failed to properly report a female of interest, were dishonest and did not report police contact promptly as required.” Lisa Saether, the regional manager of community relations and training for the Parole Board of Canada’s pacific region, said she was unable to speak to specific cases due to the Privacy Act but that when a person has either day or full parole revoked the parole board has “determined their risk is no longer manageable in the community and therefore the offender remains incarcerated.” The board’s decision factored in Love’s several years of compliance to his parole conditions and that when released, he would live with his parents and he had taken steps to file for bankruptcy. Love also told the board at his hearing he had started taking medication to help manage depression and anxiety. The board decision added Love had letters of support from an employer, a co-worker and a farmer. However, his “index offence is extremely violent and resulted in death of an innocent victim. This crime was committed over 30 years ago, but shows a capacity for extreme unprovoked volatility.”

Sadly, Troy passed away in 1997 without ever finding Pat. However, she was located alive and safe, living in San Francisco, California in 2004, thirty-three years after she disappeared. She had lost several parts of her memory due to another stroke that occurred after she vanished, but when found she still recognized and remembered her two sisters, Barbara and Mary Ann. She was reunited with them and her children in October. Pat's family also reports that she is safe and living with them, and has not wandered off since. If she was afraid her ex-husband would take the kids, why didn't she invite him to arrange a custody agreement? 3. He lets her live in his home, but she can't be truthful with him? 4. Her "past" is endangering both their lives, and she refuses to be truthful? 5. She died at with 6 kids? Did she start having them when she was 13? Something tells me she was older than she claimed.

This was back in the day!!! The days when television was actually cool... what the hell happened??? Sitting here playing "Thief" on my xbox and letting "Unsolved Mysteries" run next to me on my phone because I need double doses of mind numbing, high speed, technological drugging to keep myself asleep nowadays, and, I thought to myself, "Robert Stack is a superstar in my mind!!!" I miss him and those days... just the modern day commericals make me really miss the 80's and earlier 90's... even the commericals ruled!!! I have and now that I think about it, will after this, watch something from that time period that still has the commercials in it!!! An old VHS recording!!! My mother was struck by a drunk driver when she was sixteen, and after a six-month coma, woke up and recognized no one...her parents nor her many brothers and sisters. She had not even been expected to survive, so she had to start over with everyone and re-learning everything. She was so fortunate to re-establish family bonds with her siblings over time, but according to them, she developed a meeker personality than the one she had before. Developing a new sense of self must have been overwhelming. She told me at first it was all so very confusing. To this day most of her childhood is gone forever, and she'll never get those memories back. After decades, she did begin to remember bits and pieces, and she has told me she's grateful even for that. Oddly she does remember the day of the accident, because it killed her first boyfriend of the time. She just doesn't remember the accident itself. It infuriates me to say the drunk driver barely got a slap on the wrist, but it was the late sixties...times were different then. Pat, with her brain surgery and amnesia...It really isn't her fault. You don't pick up an old life and force it back on someone as if nothing ever happened. My mother was only sixteen and she adapted over time. A lot of bonding can be formed when you have to have everyone teach you everything all over again; even tying your shoes! Pat was older and had children and was expected that she'd fall back into an old life that might have become very fearful and alien to her. I hope she is all right today.

Lots of injuries from those kinds of things, ( she may have been on loan from Greece for the Olympics ... possibly. ) It’s said she was here possibly from Greece visiting the US for Greek Epiphany, there was a huge Greek cultural influence in Florida at the time. Some people even thought that John Paul Knowles killed her , but the time frame was incorrect. Just wanted to put some information out there.

Several tips came in as a result of the broadcast. However, none led to the victim's identification or her killer. In 2012, a new analysis of the woman's isotopes indicated that she had been from southeastern Europe, most likely Greece. It also revealed that she lived in Europe until about one year prior to her murder. The amount of lead in her teeth also indicated that she may have been from the mining town of Lavrio, Greece. In Fall 2012, the case was featured on a Greek missing persons show. A viewer called in and stated that she believed the victim was a friend of hers named "Konstantina", who had a brother serving in the Navy near Lavrio. She said that they both went to a school in Kifisia, a suburb of Athens, and were taught home economics. The caller, Konstantina, and several other girls were part of a program for the school that sent them to either the United States or Australia, with a two-year contact for work. The caller said that she had lost contact with Konstantina in 1970 when they were both sent to separate countries: the caller to Australia and Konstantina to the United States. As of yet, no new leads have surfaced on her whereabouts and her relatives have not been located. The victim and her killer remain unidentified.

Thanks to viewers' tips, Dereld has learned that Georgia's real name was Edith Geraldine Johns-Moore, and her family lived in Savannah, not Augusta. Sally and Angel were reunited with their biological father, Gary Moore, and Dereld met several of her relatives. He also learned that she had two more children, Rhonda and Eugene, prior to Sally and Angel; all of them have now been reunited. The reasons why she was harassed and why her past was kept secret are unknown.

Ann Nee yes, six kids from three marriages. They said in the reunion part that she had a boy and a girl BEFORE the two girls from her marriage to Gary Moore. Her Unsolved wiki says the same. And yes, that would obviously indicate she was at least 15/16 when she had her first baby, and then continued to have them almost every year until her death. Crazy.
