    Starting at age 6, if I had the same dreams, 3 nights in a row, it ALWAYS came true. My 1st experience, in 1956, was seeing my beloved Gramps lying in a wood box (I didn't know what a casket was when I was 6). He had on his black Sunday suit. Granny was also dressed in black and was standing in front of the box, crying. The bottom part of the pine wood casket had been closed, but she lifted it and cried out that Gramps had no shoes on. (Some times they would bury them without shoes in those days.) Then I saw my Granny board a train for some place called Florida. (We lived in Oklahoma and didn't know anyone in FL). I woke up crying and yelling EVERY night for 3 nights. On the 4th day, my Gramps suddenly died, and EVERY detail of my dream happened. Including Granny getting on a train to FL. My Aunt and Uncle were living overseas, and my Unk got a transfer to FL, so my Granny could live with them. My Granny, Mom, 1 brother, and I all had, what my Granny called, "Just knowing things."

    The New Orleans serial killer story is as chilling and creepy as a UM segment can get. To think that guy was never caught and never identified is beyond scary, no doubt he murdered a lot more women.

  • @Panwere36

    @Panwere36

    5 жыл бұрын

    As a person who loves the Crescent City, I have to say New Orleans has a deserved reputation among cities with corrupt police departments. A huge part of why he most likely was never caught is either he is/was one of them, or known to them as an informant.

  • @annnee6818

    @annnee6818

    @@Panwere36 Or not. Not doubting there's corruption but random killings are pretty hard to solve as it is. That guy is a regular Jack the Ripper with an apparent hatred for what he considers "loose women" (i.e. anyone who's out late at night unchaperoned)

  • @Panwere36

    @Panwere36

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@annnee6818 , good points on that. The only thing I can say is that there are many accusations that the Ripper also was allowed to function because of corruption/apathy. However, you are very right. He has a very Ripper-esque hatred toward women he considers immoral just for not being "properly chaperoned".

  • @sassycat6487

    @sassycat6487

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@Panwere36 you're absolutely right. I recently saw a documentary on tv about a serial killer in my home town that killed at least 8 or 9 women (that they know of) over the course of many years and the local police and FBI refused to even acknowledge these cases were related even though it all had the same patterns. I had never even heard of this case before until I saw it on tv because it got such little attention. He also targeted "loose" women who were living on their own and liked to go out on the town. Also- let's not forget the Long Island serial killer who continues to go free because of an apathetic police department and FBI.

    Surprisingly, that's actually the best thing to do. It's not like you can outrun them. Except people usually try to sound a little meaner than that. But all in all its better to carry a high powered rifle when you are out in woods where there are bears. Most of the time they will flee from humans, but not always.

I briefly met a friend of my brother's who was pregnant and then I dreamed of her in the hospital and the baby had died upon birth. I woke up thinking wtf did I dream such a terrible thing.. but unfortunately, I found out from my brother several weeks later that it had happened exactly as I saw it. Thankfully I mostly dream of positive things before they happen.

    I don’t remember 99% of my dreams, but when I do, they ALWAYS involve what I consider “visits” from people that have passed away. Sometimes I wake up and I can feel where my sister or furbaby had been laying with me! I also get premonitions, which I generally don’t even notice until after they happen. 1. I had a 7 month old refrigerator that still had the “new” smell! 🥰 So, driving home one night after 5 days away, the thought crossed my mind “I wonder if it would be hard to get the fridge down the stairs”. It was so random, I shook my head. Forty five minutes later, I entered a house that smelled like DEATH! It was chicken in the freezer of a DEAD brand new refrigerator! 2. Standing outside, having a cigarette watching a woman walk by “she’s going to fall”. She kept walking but maybe 10 steps later, DOWN she went! 3. Last week, I was having a conversation with a friend who I knew lives in a small house, very small. I know she’s musical and I was teasing her about her instruments, asking if she had different ones, “a baby grand” came to mind, but it was too silly. A few hours later, I went in to work, and my boss had left a note “piano being delivered today”. YEP! A “baby grand”!!

    My late ex-husband developed Temporal Lobe Epilepsy after surgery following a brain hemorrage, and he would have these "clairvoyant flashes" where random images would come at him while he was awake, then later on, something would happen that made them all make sense. One time we were having lunch at a restaurant and he got this overwhelming feeling of sadness and grief and could barely hold back the tears. Later on that day, we found out that a friend of ours had died, at exactly the same time that sensation came over him. So sorry you were told that your visions were of the devil. God bless you.

Later, neither the wife nor her daughter told the husband about the dream that they claimed that they both had regarding the car accident. They told him about their supposed dream only after the accident. If my husband or other loved one is going on a mountain trip, I would also tell the person to be careful. You would say that when someone is going on a trip and not necessarily when the person is just going to the store or the office. Btw, when people are dead, they are dead. if one is not alive, then they are dead. There's no in between. When my mother died, i dreamed about her often. The dreams also appeared real. What these people had were dreams.

    I'd love to know your explanation for the woman having the first hospital dream the first night he was in distress, or how her final dream with him got so many details right about his funeral. Let's also keep in mind the fact that she didn't know he was dead and that his family kept everything from her until she asked them. I've had several experiences like this, bizarrely specific things in dreams that came to be, though thankfully nothing dealing with death.

    I'm not sure why the professor guy thought hitting a little trailer tire would kill him, especially driving an old station wagon like that, pretty sure it would have just bounced off the bumper.

    when i was about 9 or 10, i had a dream once that i found part of a bone, it was a big bone, it was in an area that i knew as was only around 200m from my fairly remote home, the guy is right it was so vivid i knew exactly where i was and it seemed so real to me. i told my mother about the dream but course as a kid you arent able to put your point across all that well and so my "i dreamt i found a bone" line didnt really go any further than that. a few days later we went on a walk as a family right past this place i had dreamt about, we were walking down a track and on the left there was an area around approximately 3m deep of thick bushes and on the right was a field. i went into the bushes and exactly where i had dreamt it, i found half of a large animals jaw bone. again i told my mother i had dreamt about this moment but she didnt believe me, id forgotten about it until i saw this, 30 years later now i dont believe anything, i dont believe aliens visit us, i dont believe in conspiracy theories.........i like definitive proof of anything and everything. i think psychic ability is a pseudo science as with telepathy and all that other rubbish that comes with it, ghosts too............nothing is real unless it can be demonstrated scientifically as far as i am concerned........but i cant explain this dream and ive never had another one like it am i accepted as the real deal amongst what i imagine to be a thriving psychic community?

    Clearly you don't get it. Psychic dreams have a different quality to them. They even mentioned that on the show.

    I call many of those prophetic dreams.. had quite a few of them about the far future myself. Always jolts me right out of sleep and sitting up in bed wigging out a bit.

    The acting in this episode is pretty rough. I've seen worse though. On this very show. Keep an eye out for Matthew McConaughey in a later episode. He obviously gave a far better performance, though his story is deeply disturbing.
